What you said about the tires including the caravan is pretty much correct So you would have even tyre pressure all around but you are forgetting one very important factor. Yes we could put a spider on our 4WD and let the tires down to the appropriate pressure. But he's a simple trick that nobody does which is the correct way. Take your front tyre which is your starting point and let it down to your required pressure. At this point you get two sticks for that one stick in front and behind your tyre measure the length of the footprint it could be 300ml or 30 cm. Now you do the same with the rest of your tyres don't worry about the weights in the back of your car and trailer as this particular method is spot on and correct even if you have half a ton in the back of your 4WD it would still show on your gauge you have a little bit more PSI than the front but the footprint is the same. You do this same method with your caravan whether it's two wheels or four wheels on your van. Now if you have all four or 6 and 8 tyres all the same footprint your vehicle will travel better and won't Bern as much fuel as all the wheels are floating on the surface the same your car will love you for it and so will your wallet.
