I mean if I had a special event, I would either not wear any makeup at all or follow a simple tutorial on KZhead with the little makeup that I have. I'm constantly broke and I only have what people call "face makeup" and 1 or 2 palettes of eye shadow. And I don't think that I need anything else
@Alexia Spiteri those are good choices before this, but i think the comment is more directed at the people would loove to get dolled up for events and don't have the product or literally any skill to accomplish what they're looking for these "mua's" should def be the ones watching tutorials and improving their skills

@@tacobelle8097 They do if they cause the risk of potential harm, You are aware that unhygienic places and brushes / tools can cause way more than just a staph infection correct?, you can not only get skin infections, irritations but the worst would be loss of your eye sight and it can happen,I'd say this is cheaper than a potential law suit. Most of them 'declare' they're makeup artists just to earn a quick buck but have no idea and think it's 'easy', therefore giving people who actually know what they're doing a bad name. I've got no sympathy for someone that has no self awareness of hygiene practices.
@TacoBelle They're not bullied because 1, they're never shown face wise in videos, 2 Judy only comments on their work ethic and skill which is usually very underwhelming if you are proclaiming to be a professional. If you are talking about her comment about the ring, I get that - that's not part of make up and is a personal choice.
I think the colors he chose actually compliment you very well! If this makeup was done by a professional it would actually turn out gorgeous on you 😭

This is another makeup artist that if you gave him some actual quality makeup and some good classes, would do quite well! I wish he could go and work at a MAC store or studying in an actual school to learn more techniques and tools, but he is definitely not hopeless, clearly passionate and open to be bold and adventurous! He clearly has a long way to go, but sometimes I like to think about maybe that kit took him long years and money to put together and he is trying the best he can. I dont know. I pray he is gonna be blessed with some new makeup and classes.

This makeup had potential. If only he would’ve just taken concealer and added it to your eyelids and used it as a base with a little bit of powder on top to set - then maybe the eyeshadows no matter how cheap the colors would’ve stayed in your eyes that’s why the brushes pick up the color but vanishes as soon as he places them on your eyes because they have no base to grip on 😭

I feel so sad because he wants to use the brushes but he is switching to fingers because the eyeshadows do not pigment the eye and thats because he did not prepared the eye and the shadows are low quality... so sad. He has potential!
I think he wanted more pigment and felt the brushes were blending it away, you can use brushes even with a cheap eyeshadow or more pricy eyeshadow, the key is a really good eye primer will help you take those shadows a long way.
Girl I would have settled for ANYTHING on her eyelids🤣 that orange wasn’t gonna stay if he paid it at that point😂
I was about to comment the same thing, either the eyeshadow or the brushes were the problem. Cause every time he tried applying it with a brush, you could barely see the color. I had a really cheap palette like that in the past and the pigment was really bad. I never thought to try applying it with my fingers though 🤣.
@@Kristynne. Primers make a world of a difference, even with cheap palettes! A wet brush can help too.
Do yall have any good tips for primers? I have rly hooded eyes and i have never found primers do do a big difference, and i also think they make the eyeshadows harder to work with for some reason

You know you have seen WAY too many of these makeup fail videos when you think "Well I have seen A LOT worse". The orange eyeshadow is actually flattering if applied correctly.

Powder was so cheap and lacks so much pigment that he had to plaster it on with his fingers. Cheap eyeshadows fall off without a finger or a sponge unfortunately. They’re chalky AF

When I was 17 I was given a free makeup appointment for prom. You must go see her for your show one day 😂. I sat there 2 hours getting my face beat just to scrub it off with bottled water in my car UPSET haha

Someone in the comments said that a makeup wipe company has to do a collab line with you and I am absolutely invested in this idea now 😂 this needs to happen! Some makeup brands have their own little skin care lines, like elf. It would be dope if they did a big collab with you for makeup remover (wipes or micellar water), cleanser, soothing eye cream (as you are frequently abused by crunchy, jagged eyeliners) and a soothing skin mist or moisturizer so you can bring your face back to life after sitting in a makeup chair for hours and hours paying people to abuse your face 😆 please can we make this happen? Who do I have to email to get this started? I'm way too excited about this 😂😅

When you use fingers on a cheap eyeshadow palette pigmentation is better. I sometimes do that on myself, however it was ridiculous when he handled four brushes 😂

Oh my! No exaggeration! I didn't even see him do that to your neck!! Watching him do your makeup was torture! I don't know how you do it!! He did way better with picking complimentary colors to your eyes and skin than most of them do. And the finger thing...some colors go on better bc the heat warms it up. It didn't look bad over all. And there's usually nothing wrong with using lip liner on eyes. It's all going in your body. Just different formulas.

I guess he used his fingers as he figured the coverage and pigmentation was better than a brush. Probably because the powder mixed with his oils. Had he used an eye primer..... For a guy with labourers hands, he was pretty gentle.

As a self-taught Non licensed MUA that worked for different photographers, runway shows and wedding for 5years and only ever charged $50 a face and you got brushes to go home with... my jaw is on the ground with how bad unsafe and unsanitary this is. I pray for your face and skin. 🙏.
OK, I get so freaked out seeing how dirty everything looks, like seriously if I did makeup you would never catch me having dirty palettes or using my fingers. I clean my palettes when I'm doing my makeup. How do places like this survive and make money? 🤔

Most top muas use their fingers, it makes the products melt into the skin better. It's only the young and inexperienced who think fingers are unhygienic.
@@tyffaneelavely8087 was just going to say that, clean fingers are alot more sanitary than dirty brushes and sponges. Also fingers help warm foundation and concealer up for a more natural blended finish. Fingers are a great tool for mua's even the most professional mua's use fingers
