Thank you very much for the video, very well done. I have seen more effectiveness and better sound in the Grundig Sat 800. I have used both receivers a lot and I think that the Sat 800 is the better receiver because it supports the connection of an outdoor antenna without problems. Tecsun is saturated. Greetings

The 800 works while the 501sync is barely noticable!

The grundig sounds so much better the tecsun DSP radios sound which sound extremely bad on SSB. The tecsun Pl-680 is a really great sounding radio on SSB and makes usingg ssb on the shortwave commercial bands a joy.

Synch performance appears to be pretty close in this test. Thank you.

No contest. The Drake designed Satellit 800 wins hands down. All of the recent DSP-only Tecsun's have poor sounding Sync and they lose sync lock too easily.

And now let Drake try to fit his synchronization into a small portable receiver powered by 3.7v and then it will be a worthy comparison.

I was wondering why you used Synch-LSB on the H501, but compared the reception to Sync-USB on the Satellit 800? Shouldn't they *both* be either Sync-LSB or Sync-USB for a fair comparison?

Grundig S-800 is far better...
