TheSpadex Gosh man just cuz he isn’t going to save the universe doesn’t mean he’s fake, what do u think that the universe just decided to make some random Richtofen pop up like no man he was born and raised in Germany like all the others same parents as all the others maybe some different stuff happened to him because he’s from another reality but he did go to origins and to griffin castle and to zetsubou but he was stopped by himself which is the “real one” just because it’s the one we play as in bo3, like why does that make the other one fake it’s like, ok we played as this one the last game so let’s call him “real primus Richtofen” and aaaaaaaalllll other primus Richtofens are fake? Why? we really need to give them different names, like letters in math or something like primus Richtofen and primus Richtofen’ or something

I have a semi theory now, since the transit crew has a chance of thawing out, I say that they could rescue Richthofen. At the end of the cutscene, we can see that the blood vials of Nikolai are not broken and are on the ground, Richthofen could consume those and be saved, then have the power to open portals and meet up with the primis crew again. Which could lead to him making a grand entrance with the transit crew during the final battle with the primis crew vs Monty.

I have something that may change this, while you go through the fast travels in BOTD as Nikolai, he says that the he would rather be in the sewers. The only map that you go into sewers are in Gorod Krovi. I think that that is a little suspicious since this is focused on Nikolai and the BOTD crew hasn’t gone through the Gorod Krovi story line yet. This could be a huge thing in the story line if this is true. 👍🏼 - So he can see

If that's not the same Richthofen that we've been following this whole time then that means the Dempsey, Nikolai & Takeo that was with him, isn't the crew we've been with this whole time either. Therefore they've been with that "Nice" Richthofen the whole time so that's not a reason to not say anything But what was there to say? "Goodbye my old friend, it's been a wonderful time." Maybe it's been a wonderful time for us, watching but they've not had wonderful times. & I don't think that sounds like our crew anyways. Maybe a "Thanks doc" from Dempsey would have been nice but Richthofen just said that he hated him before the boss fight started so I don't think that he'd even want to thank him. He made his choice, he's finally done one good deed but does that make up for all the bad that he's done? Besides there's another Richthofen standing right next to them, one that trusts them enough to give them the Kronorium which they've asked to see it before but never got to because Richthofen wouldn't let them.

NOTIFICATION SQUAD: WHERE YOU AT? I really advise you to watch the entire video through before making your judgement - there's a lot of NEW evidence in this video not covered on other channels. This might explain why my reaction to Richtofen's death wasn't a sad one. Treyarch left enough crumbs before Blood of the Dead's release for me to work out back in July that one version of Richtofen would die. Now, we realise that it was all just a trick! You should end up rather happy with the explanation but this completely explains why Richtofen is so kind in this map compared to any other; BECAUSE IT ISN'T REALLY RICHTOFEN!

If you play through the BOTD, while being Nikolai, you can hear Nikolai say that he would rather travel though the sewers and that is what happens at Gorod Krovi.

Yeah they have been through the cycle for a long time and each time they forget the pervious cycle because of 115 element.
They have been through all of those stories already the BOTD crew but went back to MOB to change the outcome after realizing the way they planned to kill Monty didn’t work but only they don’t remember, so the primus crew (original crew knows what happens that’s why they planned to kill this crews leader so that the cycle ends and Nikolai gets to keep his soul to finally kill DR Monty, since this is in between Zets &’ Gorod krovi, Nikolai still hasn’t lost his soul since they went back to this dimension. Hope this helped, sounds confusing but it should make since by the next Dr Monty Boss fight or hopefully next cutscene we get

I think treyarch putting this final scene in isn't so much to explain or elaborate on a continuation. The message is that, we have to.remeber, these characters are still human. Richtophen is still human. Even with this huge story shift, it's supposed to dive deep into the humanization of character, how they still feel, how they still fear, how that will to live and sacrifice himself for the better good. It's made to show us how this isn't the richtophen from before, but a richtophen who wouldn't turn his back on the group, as they are all so willing to in the end. The light fading at the end of the scene could be seen as the light fading from existence of other richtophens

Post-Revelations Richtofen or not, that ending made people tear up because it feels like it was the same one since Origins and he feeling left out and forgatten was relatable and sad. Plus he was the nicest one. So sad.

This is wrong, it's the real richtofen but they forgot the scar. If it was fake that richtofen died then wouldn't they reveal that hes still alive in alpha omega of tag der toten?
Correct me if I’m wrong: So origins to bo3 revelations is one cycle. Then blood of the dead happens after revelations when Richtofen and the OG primis gang get sent back to the Great War by Monty. Richtofen then splits of from the gang to find a way to defeat Monty. He makes the lab on Alcatraz then finds a random Richtofen from a different cycle to tell the completely new primis crew and Richtofen, that had to go there to get the blood vials to go to Gorod, that the book changes to show the plan the OG revelations Richtofen had to break the cycle. The new primis does the BOTD EE and kills of their version of Rictofen so that the OG Richtofen can get out from cryo-sleep to replace their Richtofen, who has just died. So instead of having a new Richtofen and the regular bo3 crew, we actually have the regular Richtofen with a completely new crew. And again, correct me if I’m wrong.

Blood of the dead is even before gorod krovi, because when richtofen said if we needed to defeat dr.monty , Nicolai didn't know who's dr.monty, and we all know the first time dr.monty showed himself to the 4 characters was in gorod krovi!.

Sam Martin the one that stayed alive has the scar on his face. The one that died doesn’t and that’s the one we play as in blood of the dead. The one that stayed alive is the Richtofen we started playing as in origins till revelations.

That wasn't a cryo pod. That was some sort of control pod, like the "Flesh" from Doctor Who. When other Richtofen stepped into the machine, the real Richtofen broke whatever control he had over his other and rejoined the rest of the crew.

It’s because they already went to Gorod, continued the cycle and got sent back to the Great War and then kept continuing the cycle, everything that happened just keeps happening but they keep having their memories erased when they get sent back, watch radaustin, he explains it well

If they would've at least said goodbye, and that they're sorry that this was the only way I could at least feel a sense of closure with the ending cutscene.
at least adding a circle in your thumbnail circling his scar actually makes sense unlike random youtubers circling random and pointleas parts of a picture of something for their thumbnails just to get views....

READ THIS PLEASE: If you look in the theater after a game as Richtofen if you look a Richtofens face he has the scar. They probably forgot to put it in the cutscene.
But the new Richtofen has the scar (new model) and they probably just used the same old model to speed things up

Gonna disagree with you Dalek says the one with the scar has been in since the bow map. So if they were gonna lazily port a model in it would be the scar one they wouldn't have bothered with both also you think that now, after all these games treyarch would get sloppy. After developing a community that pride's itself off of finding tiny details and making major stories with them. I don't think so.
So if Richtofen got his scar from Der Reinsadrache, shouldnt the Richtofen we play as in Blood of the Dead have the scar too? The crew we play as are about to head to Gorod Krovi so they've already visited Der Reinsadrache
Michaelaforever1 maybe him not getting the scar is just a sign that this timeline has changed, and they are no longer in the cycle? Like when they are in the cycle he always gets this scar but this time he has not and now everything is different? Idk just a thought
Things may not happened exactly the same at der eisendrach. The scar is used as a differentiating feature so the reasoning is going to be some type of stretch no matter what.

Even though it is a cycle, things can happen a different way, remember that our characters died many times in the process (it is shown in the trailers that were released through out the whole bo3 dlc season), so, every primis crew does things differently

I’ve been trying to tell people this since I saw the cutscene but no one was listening because they were to busy crying over him dying
So there are confirmed 4 dlc maps. What I think is that at the end of blood of the dead each character went into a different portal so there could be a chance that Nikoli, Dempsey, and Takeo are going to look for the post revelations versions of them selves and the 3 dlc maps are about that and the 4th map is to end Dr. Monty (Sorry if spelling is off)

Yes the scar has just healed over time, which makes it a lot harder to see
Mind not blown: Post Revelations Ritchofen is the exact one we played as in BOIII Cryo freeze at some point He's the reason this trip to the lab is different and the 4 we play as is the VERY next cycle crew and the "other" Richthofen is the next one after that but because the Origins crew Richthofen already made this plan and froze himself and is behind the wall The Richthofen that gives the blood was able to read the altered Kronorium and tell BOTD Richthofen to read it again We saw the next 2 cycle Richthofen in the intro cutscene and the Origins/Revelation and the very next cycle Richthofen in the Outro Not saying that Nikoli won't be in charge but if so Origins/Revelations Richthofen knows that it's the only way to defeat Monty

At 10:48 Why were there only three portals in view, I know that there is something in screen that could be blocking the portal (far left) but yet there was now blue glow or any burst of energy when it closes. Please explain. Currently thinking that mind games are being played.
ANOMRAC Art's I think these three portals referred to NikolaiDempsey and Takeo to whom the dying Richtofen meant that they won‘t even remember him.. just to make it more emotional

The theory is wrong, in origins richtofen has the scar, in the giant he doesn't, in game model for the giant does have it, botd richtofen doesn't have it in the cutscene, but the botd in game model does have it, so there was just inconsistency with the scar from the beginning

No he's right just because MrDalekJD didnt mention it doesnt mean he's wrong go and watch the intro cutscene to origins you'll see the scar. This is all just inconsistencies with player models and cutscene models

Zephyrus what if the one from The giant is the one from blood of the dead. Wasn’t Richthofen’s soul at Monty’s house in the ending cutscene from Origins. Maybe the giant was actually part of the BO4 storyline and we didn’t even realize it.
if you are talking about the intro cut scene for Origins he does not even have the scratch on his cheek, in fact it was just smeared blood on his cheek

...another version?...but how?...if the cycle is supposed to be immutable...then how can there be "another"? Logically there is only one and despite having all that knowledge, he wouldn't be able change that. Even if he could have changed it, wouldn't he have done that early in the cycle? So then that means there was an infinite amount of travels between maps. Honestly, the theory you crafted doesn't even seem remotely plausible to me. Especially when the richtofen we see at the end has to be the latest in the cycle. Killing a previous state should have made him vanish from existence all together. Even if time is convoluted, your personal time will always stay singular. Even in an endless cycle, your time only moves forward for you. So please explain to me how a scar means anything. At most it means we've just seen non-lineat iterations of the maps. The first is early in the cycle and the scar is much later in the cycle(s). That's the difference between single digit repeats and multi-digit repeats. Or am I the only one that sees things that way.

Next 'primus' map evil Samantha finding new power to summon or create apothocons ,with good maxis and good Samantha interfering separating the two crews after five map redo to new map...end beginning cutscene.
I think the Richthofen we see at the end isn’t a post revelation version I think he is a later version or earlier version depending on perspective he is from the Great War timeline after dr monte send the primis group to a perfect spot in the timeline we’re it all will work out at the end of revolations as dr monte said. That being said their mission is far from over and we should get more answers from the Great War map whenever it is released
