Toledo Walleye fan here. I go to 6-8 games a season. The atmosphere is incredible. I live 15 min south of Detroit and choose to drive 45 mins to Toledo for hockey. Love my Wings, but Walleye hockey atmosphere and fans are special

That is cool to support those minor league teams - they need all the cash and support they can get, it is fun watching young players develop - I don't know how many will make it to the Red Wings from Toledo but there is always a chance
@@pjpredhomme7699 Nick Jensen, Luke Glendening, Petr Mrazek, Brian Lashoff, Martin Frk. All played for Toledo Walleye at some point and made NHL. ECHL hockey is very good. Plenty of talent. I encourage every hockey fan to support their local ECHL teams if they have one. Cheap tickets, cheaper concessions, fans who are die hard, players giving everything they have despite very low salaries.
What a nice guy, love his vibes. Detroits got a good one down there.
Thanks for this personal look at Newsey. He's a standup guy who has overcome adversity thru hard work and attention to detail. Something the young kids need in a dressing room to inspire them when times are tough.

To be fair they shouldn't have fell off so hard last season and likely would have put up between the lower end of 80 points and the higher end of mid to low 90s in points if the circumstances were in the Wings favor laster year. So a 100 point season this year if everything goes well is very possible.
