Here's a bunch of cool indie games I found on twitter, part 1. From action-adventur RPG Wandering Sword, survival horror indies like Hollowbody or Ground Zero, racing game Szrot, to Boomer Shooter Fortune's Run and JRPG SacriFire - this list has everything. Bigger projects as well as experimental, micro games from solo indie devs. Part 2 coming soon with just as many hidden indie gems.

Always a treat when the uncapped gentlemen drops another slice of content from his mountain cave.

I have no idea how you keep finding these hidden gems, but whatever you're doing, it's working!
tbh these were supposed to be more "micro" upcoming games, i have sky high standards for a proper indie vid. but i did nothing to differentiate between the two lmao
#ScreenshotSaturday and #WishlistWednesday are essentially the only positive things that twitter has contributed to the world in the past decade.
As a fellow pixel-snob, it's really nice to finally have found someone who's recommending games that seems to understand my "aesthetic standards."
already waiting for part 2 :)
Honestly, the vibe of a game is the most important part for me and some of these looks insanely vibey
Bro i love your indie content
I like your style of vids bro
If more decent Chinese games are what you're after, I highly recommend The Legend of Tian-ding. This Taiwanese game is set in the late 19th century, where the Chinese were occupied by the Japanese. It focuses on a real-life figure, who was basically a Chinese Robin Hood. Gameplay is fun, and it is a utterly charming world with suitably menacing villians. Story kind of falls apart near the end, but well worth the price of admission, and should still be on Game Pass.
Good video man. Keep up the great work.
I really liked the Radio The Universe demo, I'm in love with its graphics and gameplay.
Let's goo new vid
sacrifire looks cool, thanks for making this.
I love how SZROT's section is just the trailer.
thats me yelling over it
@@chromerot You should be hired to make all trailers of everything, and voice acting! That was unbelievably good!
@@davidsburningdumpster8728 took a lot of tweaking to get that authentic csgo slav sound lmao
@@chromerot OMG i thought that was the original narration from the trailer 🤣your slavic accent is on point!
@@hiroshi6421 thats more of a compliment to my american accent bc i am in fact from eastern europe
wow, that SZROT game drop was unexpected. Here I am, a serbian lady just trying to find out cool indie game, when bam! It's cool, I don't need to play my life, thank you very much.
Thanks for uploading 😊
Yo man your channel is bussin fr fr, keep up your work
I was so happy when you put up a clip of yakko . You and him are my favourite video game KZheadrs

Yes bro. I see a new No Cap video and I get an immediate serotonin boost

Oops we're late, thanks so much for showcasing Ground Zero! Great video and a bunch of new games I didn't know about featured here too 🙏
Can"t wait for part 2!
finally a list of up and coming games where I haven't heard of all the games already (only 1).
new to your channel.... LOOOVING IT! thank you!!
blud it says you've been subscribed for 1 year
@@chromerot well, 3, 4 video releases in one year, I watched 2, so forgive me for my false feeling. still lovein it
@@djwindkind fair enough 😅
@@chromerot
What a great bunch of recommendations!
ah let me guess, the algo stopped showing you my stuff so you missed the last few uploads 😁
@@chromerot Yep! I'm slowly catching up.
The gods have blessed us with another video.
Homie you have some genuinely unique and good taste. Would love to hear more of your thoughts on games
thanks for the video. I will play all of them.
@11:26 you're talking about "Games that put you in the shoes of a ninja" - You're looking for "Tenchu" the franchise. It basically is the grandfather of the entire stealth action genre and does exactly that! It's also sort of an immersive sim. Tenchu is also what Sekiro is based off of, made by the same studio in fact :)
Bro this channel blew up. Congrats homie
ehh did it? idk. i see 100k way differently now than i did before i had a channel. i think we still got a long ways to go. but thanks!
It's just really comfortable watch keep going there's nothing to stop capgaming. In game we trust
Bro is back!!
Christmas came early w new no cap gaming
Welcome back
i came across brass below on twitter also, and i didn't really know anything about it but after seeing the cute chickens i was all in
Best youtuber ever ❤
yo fortunes runs aesthetic make me sorta think of that old unreleased prey2 game so ill be putting that on my radar
good vid great value
Brass Below gives me a more vibrant Solatorobo scenery vibes and the relaxing feeling from Magic Pengel on the PS2
5:44 so like every single game before The Legend of Zelda for the NES?
wait, people used to get excited to hop on facebook? Naahh, but myspace? Now we're talking
My top 8 got me in trouble so many times.
bro you speak in every way I think graphics to determine which indie game to play? ... ELL YEAH
Maybe you know about it, but you should definetely play Sayuki Journey West for the PS1/emulator if you want a wuxia RPG. Such a cool, underrated gem from that era.
Finally after all this year
Had me at leg blades!
Twitter bad, but games good! Great video as always just try to get part two out before 2024, jk take your time man.
If you're looking for an unknown Indie Game that's already released, you should check out Scholar of the Arcane Arts. It's not the prettiest but I promise it's spell combining mechanic is worth it!
Please consider showing "CODE Bunny" in part 2! is a Retro 2D Action Platformer with beautiful pixel art and catchy chiptune! The game is releasing THIS MONTH for PC on itchio!
YUGO TIME! druzhe naredniCHE!!
szrot my beloved 🙏
What were your thoughts on Boomerang X? I really loved the mechanics, but I wish there was more content. It would be interesting as a VR game, but it would be sickening to play like that.
it's sickening even without being VR, i LOVE how it feels to play but i feel like it gives me eye cramps lmfao
Just curious but have you heard of The Axis Unseen? trailers are looking really promising, anyways, absolute banger of a vid as always!
nope but ot does look interesting, thanks for the rec
what is the song used fo Social Media Tangent™
YOOOOOOO BIG UP MAC ANU THEME
chill i just typed in jrpg music lmaoo
you keep not noticing an indie game called Gods of the Twilight on steam and it's really fun XD
I jist recently played the Demo for Radio the Universe and fell for it hard. I want the full game so bad.
Play Brutal Orchestra! The most underrated Indie Game as of now, its a turn based RPG with a heavy focus on strategy and resource management elements. Its art is inspired by the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch and his strange depictions of heaven and hell, it has an amazing semi-roguelike gameplay loop and tons of creative bosses. I PROMISE you its worth it and you wont regret it!
interesting, might give it a look :)
@@chromerot Awesome! I think there's a big chance you and many others will love it, if you have a discord or anywhere I can contact you I'd be down to get you a copy of the game. Just let me know.
Wait man is awake this is not a bad collection of indies also hows your progress on downpour.
that indie vid was so agonizing to make i didnt want to even look at those games after lol so rain world video is never getting made
@@chromerot Ah thats totally aight
8:25 whats the background ambience audio?? i love it
If you want to play a chiller game, try Outpath, there is just a demo but the game releases this year
I have this on my watch later playlist, you will get your view someday
good to know 🤝
Cool
what is the name of the game in the into and outro?
Make a video on "Full void"
Kinda off topic but whats the background song from 0:30
Do you know when brass below will ever come out?
15:37 Have you tried Replaced? It has the same artstyle as The Last Night
oh im aware ;) im eagerly anticipating it but having followed tim soret (creator of the last night) for a few years i believe the last night will be a much more profound and important game
@@chromerot didn't Last Night get cancelled? I think I heard somewhere they stopped development. I could be wrong
@@Zetsubou-69420 nope, development still ongoing. they cut their funding but tim soret will not let his vision die. they've supposedly broken new ground with the 3d pixel art technology. its still very much under wraps so im assuming a few years away
@@chromerot I was kinda sad thinking we missed out on such a great looking game. But if that's the case then I would love to play it asap
8:30 made my day
Can you liink these games? I can't find REPOSE anywhere for example
Take my sub
There is a great game I can recommend to you. Not a too long (Finished it in like, 9 hours, with almost 100%), but REALLY GREAT. It is a Metroidvania-like game with a nice story, good controls and great mechanics. There are a few puzzles, which aren't too bad. The true ending is a bit difficult to get, cause there is a weird difficulty spike for the side boss to get something for it (the ending), but the game goes back to normal after. I can't really explain it well, but if this interests you, you should check it out. It is called "UNSIGHTED"
played it! it was cool
keep making videos brooooooooooooooooooooo
Bussin fr fr no cap 100
Sleeping schedule be hitting hard these days...😢😢
So glad I clicked on this video.
11:20 Play ato, indie game set in feudal japan, super fun metroidvania
I don't know if you have tried Library of Ruina, but I wish their "turn base" combat system were used on more rpgs personally... And if there are more games with that combat mechanics please someone recommend me some, I'd appreciate it.
im aware of it but havent tried it, maybe i should
Limbus company? Made by the same devs just kinda live service. Graphics are a lot better and story is 10/10
@@Zetsubou-69420 oh yeah I play that too, nonetheless, I was thinking more like games outside of the Project Moon sphere.
my brother in christ where are the characters in the thumbnail from? 👌👌👌
brate koliko sam se šokitrao kad sam skontao da si naš, štaaaa
Some primo games in this list!
wandering sword looks... similar to octopath traveler
Is that the giy who put yoshi all over his school???
lol the intro was too real
Here's some engagement for the algorithm.

What’s the song for Szrot? 😭 pls help
13:59 ja sam stvarno sretan za ovo. hocu igrat!!! i sviđam muzika puno, nisam očekivao da igru od balkans će bit ovde lmao xD
u have no idea how happy i was when i recognised something from where im from AND understood what u were saying😭😭
ahahah glad to hear that homie 😁
I higly recommend ZERO SIEVERT if you want a combination of Escape from Tarkov and Hotline Miami
Dude. Have you played "Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion"?. This might be a game worth checking out. The goal of this game is to get past 1000 rooms. It starts off slow with you wandering through a few empty rooms, but just when you think this might be a super boring game with cutesies popping out of the walls, you spend the next few rooms running for your life. Btw it's free!!! so check it out if you haven't already
i watched a youtuber play it on stream but i didn't stick around for the later areas so i wouldn't know what to expect. could be fun to play on stream perhaps
Chromerooooooot
guuuuuts
cat quest and kingdom plz
3d pixel art enjoyers rise up
Fuck this vid is the epitome of the zoomer. Breakcore, phonk and some absolutely sovl dystopian cyberpunk games.
11:07 my dumb brain actually searched for "who cares honestly" on the net
LOL
What's the first track? the one that plays when you rant about social media
spider noir theme lol
@@chromerot thanks for that I finally found the original one, it's named "if god didn't want us to snort worms he wouldn't have made them cylindrical"
Might be time to play mirrors edge again.
never a bad time
Twitter is amazing bro. I haven't a clue what you're talking about. All social media is amazing and essential.
so true
Can u recommend me a good co-op or multiplayer games? Please
Out of these Brass Below caught my eye but after looking the twitter videos for it for me it feels like more style over substance. I hope the world is interactiable because otherwise, it's just like walking through pretty set pieces, which gets old fast for me. I wasn't impressed by the gameplay shown (fishing, mining, and portals), and farming, construction, and poker aren't my thing. I hope I am wrong about all these things
Szrot looks cool, but from the Steam page direction, it doesn't seem that deep of a game. I hope there's lots to do and I'm wrong. I hope they really push into the culture side too
yeah not all of these are super deep and packed with content. i feel like i put together a decent mix between low and mid budget games cause i wanna give the solo devs a shot too
