Today we are playing a building minigame (with Jimmy, Impulse, Gem, Skizz and Joel) where we build something, the next person guesses that build and we build someone elses guess in a cycle until we have swapped 3 times.. and we see what the build looks like. Ever played whispers, telestrations or telephone? It's like that but with minecraft builds.

And ok, I guess that's not really a compliment for Skizz's building talent, but, it is a compliment for whoever was brave enough to invite him! 1000x more relatable with someone who would have done just as good as me and 90% of the audience. It's nice seeing Skizz in more stuff recently. I never had any experience with him until I watched the Scar Imp&Skizz podcast episodes, but he's pretty cool.

I've got to say, Grian I think is one of the few if not the only creator where he creates extremely fun group ideas that successfully every time sends me to every one of the other people's channels. telephone truly is a timeless game. played it as a tiny child in school, then years later watched minecrafters play the building game, which is just telephone but with builds, then years later gartic phone becomes popular, then now it comes back with this, not as tch savy as sethblings, but still just as fun to watch

I like this. It seems like an updated version of SethBling's Building Game from about 10 years ago. Basically the same concept, except you don't know who built or guessed until the end
I just wanna say I really appreciate you put English subtitles in your videos. Even though I don't need them myself; as a non-native, I know very well there are many people whom not only do the subtitles enable to enjoy your videos, but also to gradually improve their English skills. Not to mention the disabled. Huge thanks from me - a guy, who learned English though YT. The subtitles really can make a difference for someone.

It was fun. It would have been a lot more satisfying to see more lines per video. The most fun part is seeing changes as it goes along, but because you only show your starting build, that is less than a quarter of the runtime.

I would love to see a sweaty try-hard build battle where builders at the top of their game just go super over the top with like 30 minutes to build. Then the next person has 10 minutes to replicate, then the next person has 5 minutes, then 1 minute. -inspired by the “Knock off” game mode from Gartic telephone .

Just watched the one they released earlier today, then saw this!
I'm guessing they saw the yogscast doing them over the last few months, and decided to do the same thing. In my opinion it's not quite the same when they have to be family friendly, don't really make fun of each other and their builds, and have to have much safer prompts and guesses. And splitting the results over so many videos isn't for me I guess.

@@theAstarrrYeah, I understand why they split the results, but it just doesn't work in my opinion. If I wanted to watch the other people's perspectives I will, even if the content overlaps. But I am unlikely to watch all their perspectives just for the results. And even if I do, it just feels very disconnected and isn't a fun watch to have to skip through people's perspectives on 6 different videos just to watch 10 minutes of content.
This is why we love the group gatherings so much with all of you together. Never a dull moment and then you toss in a @Skizzleman and it just takes the laughs up a notch in such a great way! Everyone’s views are epic of interpretation. Please make sure Skizz gets to join the Hermitcraft gang this next season even the cross overs would bring such an awesome addition. Keep on doing these collabs no matter what everyone is playing together but especially Minecraft!

this reminds me of the old Building Game series by seth bling back during the old mindcrack days... Way lower polish but given a bit more time (both for the timer and for making everything automatic) i could see this becoming a really fun series to watch, especially if the NAMES in the DESCRIPTION WERE IN ORDER OF WHO'S WHERE, GRIAN. I HAD TO REFERENCE THE ORDER SHOWN IN THE VIDEO SO I COULD WATCH THE REVEALS ALL CHRONOLOGICALLY >:( anyway, offer skizz's spot to etho (this is a joke, skizz did fine he just needed more time and he made for a good curve ball in the environment of artistically inclined folks, but also getting some of the folks who originally played the building game would be Fantastic, and they could probably help make it an easier time for everyone)

Ah, I love this game! And such a fun group to play it with, good session! Though for the map itself, the map the Yogscast uses for this seems to flow a bit better. It does the moving around for you, and it allows you to see the guessed text at the build, instead of having to progress to the next one not being able to look back easily. It also prevents accidentally peeking at each others' builds.

@@chickenfarmer321 with how old it is I don't think it can break A timer, teleports, manual redstone for the guesses, and a ready system If I'm not mistaken the teleport and scoreboard commands hasn't changed and I also don't think the player targeting in commands haven't changed either

The only broken thing I can think of is if java maps aren't compatible with minecraft anymore I know if you wanted to play it on bedrock you got to re create it yourself which I think I almost did but stopped because I'm not sure how to make it account for a variety of player numbers (7 is base, 15 is what I aimed for) but I know how now I just haven't gone back to it

This reminds me of Sethbling's The Building Game which a whole bunch of creators including Etho, CaptainSparklez, Guude, AntVenom used to play. Throwbacks to my childhood
