  • Thank you for the video, it is really heartwarming to see someone portraying our country in such a manner. :) I definitely recommend visiting Třebíč (proud Třebíčák, meaning born in Třebíč :D ) as it is a site of many beautiful historical buildings including an old Jewish cemetery and a Jewish quarter, that have been preserved throughout centuries. Nice work, looking forward to seeing your next pick. :)

  • Díky za uctivé a láskyplné video. Jen ten větrný mlýn na začátku mne udivil, ten patří spíš do Holandska.

    • I don't know about that. Most people I know hate the word Czechia because it looks and sounds more like Čechy than Česko. It's like calling the whole country Bohemia. Czech republic is much better.

    • @@petkamoravcikova Political name never can be better than geographic and overtime name of the country. Czech Republic can not be used in historical siruations and where all other country used its non-political and geografic name. Czech Republic exists for only 30 years and we are not important or exquisite republic by anything. We used to be Kingdom more than 700 years ans in its time much more important state than whenever during period of the republic. People who hate the name Czechia are victims of prejudice and ignorance. Czechia is absolutely appropriate name for our country and it used already by czech sportsmen, e.g. in the hockey Championships. Czech Republic is not better. There are more than 150 republics in the world but CZECHIA is only one

    • @@vaclavkozak9566 I am not at all opposed to having a single-word name for our country. I have no idea why you're trying to argue with me on that point. I am specifically opposed to it being Czechia, which looks and sounds like Čechy, which is a single historical region of the Czech Republic. We have 2 quite good alternatives: 1, Use an acronym. If people can say UK and USA, they can say CR. 2, Use the actual Czech word - Česko. It's a single word, referring to the Czech Republic, that does not sound similar to Čechy. As I've personally checked, foreigners have no issue pronouncing this word, and English speakers specifically find it comfortable since it's Chess-coh for them. All of these terms (Česko, Czechia, Czech republic) are quite young. Half the world still thinks we're goddamn Czechoslovakia, if there's a time to change the name to be more appropriate, it's now. Finally, can you explain to me what ignorance I am currently displaying? Who am I prejudiced against by disliking the word Czechia? The foreigners who invented it? The cunts who decided to make it our international name without considering it properly?
