  • Those pipes look ancient. I felt bad for the tenants. Great work you knew exactly what was going on. Looks awesome but there is still a bit of soap scum or pipe muck built up. Great job.   • Felicidades excelente trabajo. Mi hija compró casa en Winchester Ca. Casa que tenía 8 años de uso. A los primeros tres meses empezamos a tener problemas vino un plomero arreglaron. porque es horrible que se salga la materia fecal. Tenemos dos niños adultos. Optamos por no poner papel sanitario 🧻 en la tasa y asunto resuelto. Y aun así estamos cuidando el baño del primer piso.

  • You've stopped putting on that lonnnnnnnngggggg red glove to reach to the bottom of traps. Any reason? Man that pipe upstream of the trap is super scaly. Think of how many million homes in NYC in the next 20-30 years are going to suffer from cast iron waste pipes scaled up so bad that nothing will get thru! Think of the cost to each homeowner to rip all that out and install new pipes. And the service mains from the traps to the street mains! It boggles the mind how bad it's gonna be in a few decades. Infratstucture, folks, infrastructure...

    • I think it depends on how deep the trap is and I agree on updating infrastructure NOW, not once it is an issue. I've seen here in CT when a main line breaks in a street from old pipes. Last one it made a massive hole in the ground and it was like at 3am. Businesses and residents waking up to no water

    • I usually pull out the long red gloves to go in the trap yes but if there is some hard build up, it makes it kinda hard with them on, I definitely use them when the intire pit is filled with sewage 🤢😉👍

  • So, if this is a reoccurring problem, what can they do to prevent clogs in the future? You find soap scum. Is there anything to help with build up of soap scum? I really enjoy your videos.   • That has to suck to have that brand new (well brand new looking with the new looking sheet rock) get flooded like that. Then when they flushed upstairs and almost flooded it again, I was like "oh no". Glad you cleared it quick and identified that the toilet wasn't properly sealed. I hope he looked at that before buying a whole new toilet
