After taking up saltwater fly fishing in Cornwall last year (2018) after 55 years of normal fishing, I am back out for my first fly fishing trip this year hoping to catch Bass on Sandeel flies. I talk about where I am with the rod, reel, line, leader, stripping basket, and along with the fishing and catching the fish, talk about the casting and trying single hauling for the first time. Catching fish on a fly rod is certainly a new experience and great fun. The video is based on my experience to date as a beginner to the sport of saltwater fly fishing.
