  • Nice choices! Both Bakowo Zohylina Niznio and Tradycja are great. Haven’t been to the one inside the hotel yet. Next time. I would recommend trying botwinka soup (spring beets soup; available during spring ) and oscypek with pear at Staropolska. Great spot. Also, nicely tucked away from Krupowki, but still within a short walking distance. Another wonderful spot with great views is Po Widoki on Gubalowka. Finally, check out Kmicic cafe. Great desserts/coffee and a lovely garden setting with Mountain views.

    • @@planetkrakowit might be. But there are at least two kinds. Barszcz Ukrainski would be made with regular beats with an addition of cream and available all year long. Botwinka is a seasonal spring soup since it has to be made with baby spring beets, including leaves. it also has scream added to it. I had it at Staropolska last June and went back the second day because it was really delicious.
