    • I know what you mean. I am not any kind of criminal but I am one of those people who are very unlucky. All my life I've been convinced I would die in an unjust execution. It would be my kind of luck. I tend to identify with condemned prisoners for that reason.

  • I have a question, if that prisoner was having a cardiac arrest while sitting on the electrical chair a minute before his execution would they give him a CPR?

    • that’s a really interesting question... my guess is cpr because they have the way each prisoner will go planned out multiple days beforehand, and if they die of natural causes, then it wouldn’t be accurate? idk it’s a weird concept

    • Yes, they will revive you because it’s part of procedure. The Execution would likely be rescheduled. They want to make sure he doesn’t suffer with heart complications during a execution

    • The electric chair is so rare it’s never used. And during lethal injections one of the side effects of the drugs is literally cardiac arrest. So no they will not revive you.

  • We need more of one thing in this world: MENTAL HEALTH CARE. Criminals are often troubled. Legitimate, primal depravity in a person is a case that is few and far between, and consequently by choice.

  • It's hard to imagine how it feels at that time. Your innocent parents looking at you and you know you are Going to die. I don't know y but death penalty is something which breaks me up. I really don't know why but war feels better since it involves a lot of people perishing and not a single person. Moreover you die with respect if you are a soldier and your parents and loved ones don't have to stare you helplessly.

  • i truly can't imagine how awful it would be in the time before the execution- the rethinking your whole life, even the walk up to it in the last minutes- even though I know people who have done horrible things are the ones who get the death punishment I still genuinely can't feel anything but empathy fir them
