@angryeliteultragree6329 yeah assumed so. Would play for hours years ago and basically earn nothing. Had to grind for DAYS for a piece of armor and maybe a gun. My vehicle had dozens more places for armor. So bad
The fact that my Susbox was not only the most successful in survival rates, but also sometimes kills, truly shows how advanced my design is.
I remember back when I played this a fair bit but I found it difficult to progress without paying money
I've been playing it since it came out on Xbox, tried to play it how Warframe is best played (by sitting there grinding it out rather than paying for everything) and I was able to craft a decent number of items... but only before I had a job, and only when I played nothing but Crossout. The devs built the grind to be high enough that you need to be playing the game pretty much 24/7 to manage to do anything significant or you need to buy SOMETHING every now and then. By this point, I have all of the vehicle packs in the game and I used to play it religiously even as recently as the 3rd battle pass they released. I have played a single clan battle, I don't have any Relics, I appear incapable of making meta-compatible vehicles or driving them. But every now and then, I log in to build the most outrageously heavy land crawler I can imagine, decked out with the biggest cannons, and I take it through the PVE raids. In the easy raids, if the faction is Lunatics or Nomads and the AI drive straight into my bumper while I'm crawling along at 50kph, they have a very high chance to explode based on the momentum of a 25 ton tank and a 3 ton buggy colliding at 120kph. And if they survive... I have three Executioner cannons ready to earn their name. I just wish the game had more to offer in the story mode.
I guess I should give it another try considering I have quite a lot of hours in Warframe

@@jacoblansman8147 we're already on our 12th battle pass, Sky Raiders. The amounts of pay to progress this game has gotten since the Amusement Park update is insane. For example one of the modules REQUIRED for clan wars, costs almost 10k coins, half as much as a relic, despite being a legendary which are generally 3k coins.

As a long time player it's so fun watching the chaos but also hurts seeing how some of those builds could have been made a little better. like adding a car jack module so you can right yourself immediately

I did enjoy crossout for a bit, but once you went above a certain powerscore you see people in low tier matches with medium or high tier gatling guns and you only have machine guns, I was tempted to buy a pack but uninstalled the game instead

I'm glad someone sponsored is showing stuff in Adventure mode. It feels like the devs abandoned that mode. The more attention it gets, the more chance they might finally realize people actually enjoy Adventure mode and want the story to continue and more maps and such to come. I'm sure most can agree that being allowed to use the new helicopters in Adventure mode would be incredibly fun with how big and open the map is.
Adventure mode definitely needs an update. But how are the devs supposed to get money from it? Also from my knowledge they don't want to because how much coding it would require. It would also mean fixing the plethora of plot holes in the lore.
@@thunderatsea3843 They'd get money the same way they do from PvP content. People buying premium vehicles and more parts and stuff. They'd just be doing it to fight AI and not other players. Of which, the Adventure mode stuff is harder because of the story missions being singleplayer and having more enemies to fight, thus needing more durable vehicles with more redundant parts than you need in regular PvP. Also they could charge people for early beta access to new story chapters that are being worked on.
@@TheIrishTexan Adventure mode actually isn't single player. Your able to four stack adventure mode missions. And tbh adventure bots arn't that hard to ether cheese by getting really close or strip / directly cab them. And I would say the chance of them charging for early beta access is slim, but now days the devs would probably do it.
@@thunderatsea3843 You can bring friends into the instanced story missions? I thought you could only do that with the open world missions. Though, to be fair, I don't have any friends that play to try it with.

As an actual crossout player this both hurts and is funny at the same time. It hurts cause despite having every available part and weapon with the promos, the builds are still shit, but its funny because you guys always manage to create chaos no matter the game. If my some miracle you guys come back, I'd love to join because I have some meme builds I know you guys would enjoy. 11:30 People arn't playing this game because the devs are money hungry and destroying the game while their doing it. "Melee helicopters" is a fucking terrifying concept but it sounds like a lot of fun. I've sent my friends a message saying "Come play Crossout. It's still a dead game but now it's a dead game that lets you build melee helicopters!" I really hope you give us some more Crossout videos btw, the game can be amazing, hilarious and/or amazingly hilarious with friends and it's always fun to watch dumbass builds working to the confusion of the driver and their enemies and allies alike.

Also they really need to get crossout back on the incline. The idea is amazing and the game is fun once you have things. There is so much potential here but it's not being used.
@@d_oneshadeslayer That's' the issue "the game is fun once you have things." so unless you want to grind for days/weeks to be competitive or build the designs you actually want to, you'll have to pay them money for the components. Really cool concept but also scummy developers that know people are willing to pay money for that cool weapon or the component they need to finish their design. Plus the feeling of inferiority from facing people that seemly have all these nice things while your still going around in mostly default designs. If you don't mind a grind and feeling underpowered for a long time or have plenty of cash to burn than give it a try, personally i don't like supporting companies that do this sort of thing. I'd rather buy the game outright instead of getting a fraction of the game free than having to spend a lot more money or time to get the rest of the content. All whilst facing people who already have that content, or Bots. It's a shame Gaijin are as scummy as they are and that they get away with it.
@xXBisquitsXx I agree with you but as gajin devs are different between war thunder and crossout I'm hoping that the warthunder devs help with crossout. This would do 2 things, 1-the game would have more content updates. And 2 as one or two of the crossout devs agree that the game should be less less of a grind when more things get added they would need to make the game easier to acrew resources as to allow people to craft those things. This would lower the feeling of being underpowered.

Yeah I'd say it's pay to win but most games you will face only those of your power score. Most pay to win players are at around the 10k and up power score. Other than that the game is incredibly grindy. All weapons on their own do hold up in against other weapons of the same rarity. With of course some being better than others.

I'm wondering if the devs will add naval warfare to this game now? I still have an Interesting Idea for How to play Crossout! According to the Community, things seem to have gotten more like War Thunder with how much of a Grind it actually is to get even half of the Parts and Modules you and the Crew used here! Since Gaijin is also the Publisher of Crossout, why not Build the Tanks, Vehicles, Aircraft and Helicopters you usually see on War Thunder? Imagine Rolling into Battle with American Sherman Medium Tanks, Stuart or Chaffee Light Tanks and M10 or M18 Tank Destroyers or British Sherman Medium Tanks, Valentine or Churchill Infantry Tanks, Stuart Light Tanks, Crusader Mk III, Cromwell Mk IV, A30 Challenger or A34 Comet Cruiser Tanks or even the German Panzers in Crossout? To be far Entak (I was mixing up Gromekk99 with entak, but still) quit crossout 2 years ago, and its just gotten worse and worse. People would say all the time Crossout was dying, and I would deny it, but now it truly is dying. Every thing you said is correct. All I can really do is add onto it

This would be Gaijin's best game if only it wasn't so unbeliveably grindy. Also, gameplay needs more purpose: a 3 minutes clash arena with machinegun spam can't be engaging.
It was pretty engaging when you are focused and targeting parts to weaken the enemy. But you're right, the grind ruins the game!

@@thunderatsea3843 I mean my point stands, just using different builds... The whole, this build is meta so use and abuse it. The people making relics sell them for overpriced amounts and the game is massively pay to win with in game loot boxes that quite frankly don't give you anything worthwhile.
@@Twist-The-Friendly-Hunter Shotgun wedges are dead because the devs changed it to where the enemy's mass is added on to yours iirc. You can ram someone at 120km/h and as soon as you get under someone your speed drops to almost 0km/h, making you an easy kill in the current mobility meta. The only "overpriced" relic right now is Helicons priced at 38k, and its only cause their crafting changes every 21 days and currently requires two of the most expansive and scarce modules, the omamori, and also requires 2 expensive and uncraftable weapons, the Heather. Even then is still "cheap" considering it requires 27k in the parts alone, not even including 300 uranium + other resources. Only loot boxes that are actually used in this game are epic equipment set from the badge exchange, which are generally bought and sold for, sometimes, a profit, unopened.
@@thunderatsea3843 so I didn't know they changed the mass thing so that's definitely a improvement, the loot boxes span from whites, blues, purples and legendaries. The white, blues and purples are like the war thunder boxes, filled with like 80% garbage and 20% usable stuff that you won't get at all. Plus there's the whole you won't even keep it part as some are earned and then only last like a week and they are removed. The relics have always been overpriced, as some massive clans have people craft relics and sell them for ridiculous prices and they'll saturate the already niche market (as not a lot of people buy relics... its not worth like £40 IRL)
@@Twist-The-Friendly-Hunter What ever. If your this stupid to come to these conclusions, any effort to explain to you why its wrong is a waste of time. If people really care they are welcome to both look at the market for both crates and relics, and the clan wars leader boards, and come to their own conclusion. If they want to play the game, their going to hit the brick wall and ether decide to stop playing, or pay money. I would prefer them to just not start playing, but if they do decide to play then don't spend money on the game.
