INDUSTRIAL SOCKETS BUILT FOR THE EXTREME - SCAME GRP IP66, IP67, IP69
The Scame Advance GRP range of industrial socket outlets are built for extreme environments. The GRP construction can withstand a huge range of chemicals, wide temperature range and mechanical impacts to IK10.
Under the cover Scame GRP sockets are flexible and easy to maintain with interchangeable chassis, interlocked isolator operation and clever LED indicator functions.
IP66, IP67 and IP69 environmental ratings make them ideal for marine, water treatment and chemical processing electrical installations.

Awesome as always… Gordon has had a haircut 💇♂️😁
Twice a year Jake wether I need it or not!
Lovely looking bit of kit, reminds me of something i used to install years ago.. cant remember who used to make them, what are they like in high UV areas, i know from marine experience that dark grp colours tend to weaken over time and the gel coat goes powdery
How many of them have been installed so for ? I think theses are something that might become standard in 50years time . I did the CPD on caravan/ camp sights and the means of connection to a caravan , I was on holiday l two weeks ago on such a sight a you know what not one caravan was hooked up with the new type sockets Maybe in twenty years or more they will be fantastic video guy’s as always 👍👍👍❤️⚡️
Its not a product I'm likely to use at present but can you buy the base and front cover units separately or are they only sold as one complete unit, I was just thinking of when you demonstrated the front units are interchangeable you may not always want to buy the base and would save on costs
Yes base ordered separately.
It looks good, but still not a great amount of space to terminate a big SWA for the 63A version!
We only use mennekes. Whate makes scame better?
Do Mennekes produce a GRP based socket?
@@efixx to be fair, that one looks a lot sturdier than any Mennekes I’ve seen. Do they make feed-Ins as well, preferably with the generator switch over?
What about an ip 68 rating?
That’s permanent immersion in water under pressure. A challenge then to use the plug 🔌
Don't you people use Celsius for temperature measurement in Britain?
Yes
A bit of both really.
Always a bad move fitting one of these to the outside of your business Portacabin and come back in the morning and find some camper has attached their Caravan to it
🤣🤣🤣
Just turn the breaker off. They’ll soon leave when there’s no juice coming from it.
Can't get the plug out while it's on! Unless the idiot welder grinds of the retaining nub on all your leads. Yes he was sacked and it cost over £2000 to replace all the plugs. He did all the plugs on one late shift.
😂😂😂
One has to wonder... 'WHY???' 😕
