I wouldn't be too shocked if word got out that they're working with FARC and are using their influence in venezuela and cuba to be middlemen between the cartels, FARC, hezbollah (already involved in the latin american drug trade and obviously theyre pals with iran who is pals with russia) and american drug dealers, in the same way the mexican cartels used to be for the Colombians.

    • Good thought, but none of the international sanctions did criple Russia so far, so their main focus is most likely not centered around money. Bringing more drugs into Russia or Africa would not help Russias cause either. Drugs are always a nice side hussle for any covert operations and good trade options for off the books type of deals, so would not be surprised if this goes down anyways at some point tho.

    • From what I recall he wanted to join the regular army or armed forces of Russia, as he was full of the propoganda, patriotism and "the Russian army glory" that he was being fed at school but he was too young, like a year and a half below the youngest possible enlistment age, Wagner however didn't care, they saw he had a popular hoi4 streaming channel (in Russia he was no. 1, outside of Russia he was one of many streamers, often just picked on for being the Russian kid full of Russian propaganda and patriotism) so Wagner took him and his streaming channel and used it as propoganda outlet, some disliked it as he was just a kid, others disliked it due to him willingly joining them and sprouting propoganda and some just hated him for being Russian and loving his country. But yeah his career that was small and upcoming outside of Russia is now dead, he now solely streams for his Russian base and last I heard he was still on the propoganda team for Wagner.

The name Wagner is actually supposed to be in reference to the legendary composer, Richard Wagner, who's probably best known for Flight of The Valkyries. • Depends on the outcome. Civil War or Coup? If a civil war would occur, Russian government forces would be all over the place, and it was also likely escalate the mild tensions within the Russian population, making a potentially even more chaotic rebellion. In that case, Russia would've very likely been swatted by the UAF, which at that time, was not on an ammunition shortage, while western powers, not exactly facing internal disputes like those of 2024, would take advantage of a fucked up Russia and probably the concern of nukes to further supply Ukraine without Russia wagging their grubby fingers. If it was a coup? Not much tbh.
