- Of all the originals there are only two that I know of where the Panther speaks. But despite the opening credits I can't believe it's Rich Little providing the voice, unless there are two guys with the same name.

- This is indeed the only one of 2 original voicelines I know of, of tge top of my head. The other is in the episode where a Texan hunter builds an ark and tries to catch the panther for it.

I think they had him talk in this one because the other two men were talking so much. And this was the right voice for him, a British accent.

I don’t remember this episode and I don’t remember the pink panther ever talking. To be honest, I loved the “Ant and the Aardvark”. The Aardvark’s voice was hilarious.

Not sure if I really like a talking Pink Panther episode as part of the appeal is that he doesn't talk, so you have to follow the action closer.

- Yeah I felt that way too, I was kinda put off by it..and the pet where they just shot each other their was nothing besides bang ( talking) bang ( talking) and it was....distasteful to the other pink panther.

P.P. is so much better silent instead of having the bad voice and accent. The Pink Panther show exhibited real talent in conveying what was going on WITHOUT the characters actually talking and that was a big part of the charm and success of the toon....
