For five days there has been no fuel and almost no aid entering Gaza, according to UN agencies, which issued fresh warnings today of "even more unprecedented levels of emergency". (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
The vote at the UN in New York doesn't change anything for now, depending on your view it may be an impotent gesture or a powerful symbol of how the world feels about Palestinian rights.
Israel continues to defy American warnings not to attack Rafah where there are still, despite the current evacuations, over a million displaced people.

The 1948 plan that would have facilitated a diplomatic agreement that would have created two states, Palestine and Israel, was never adopted. This is a massive piece of misinformation. Any people can form a government and declare nationhood. Being a member state of the UN does NOT make you a state or not a state, it is a diplomatic body based on essentially contract law. Learn the law. Palestine can declare independence RIGHT NOW - but they do not.

You have to work out those different bodies and who votes in them and what they do. It's the security council that would give them full membership. that's the one America vetoed. This gives Palestine some new rights and privileges, but not full membership. America has no right of veto here. It also restarts the Palestinian claim for full membership in the future.

I seen footage of some YTer walking in the Gaza streets before the 3k+ Palestinian invasion of their neighbor, and strangely the Palestinians in some city drove a lot of modern recent year cars, even saw some high end Mercedes Benz I thought they would’ve been poverty stricken like Afghans driving 1970s - 2000s Toyota Corollas everywhere, but before the invasion, they seemed to living pretty good, tons of businesses and all sorts of recent cars, at least in the city Palestinians dun goofed themselves for decades, now that their businesses, homes and cars are gone attacking a superior neighbor with just 3k militants, they threw it all away and reap what they sow
They could have had a phenomenal economy. Israel left them everything they needed. Factories, export businesses, farms hotels ect. Hamas burned it all. Even with free electricity and water that Israel gave them for free. They took billions of dollars and made themselves rich and build rockets. Hamas had villas and expensive cars and Gazans has nothing. This was supposed to be a tourist destination , riviera.
