Air Canada Boeing 777-300ER | Full Night Flight | Toronto Pearson to London Heathrow
Hello all, I appreciate there's a number of hours of just black, but I hope you can use it as background noise to sleep or to work to. Welcome to a night flight across the Atlantic, travelling onboard an Air Canada Boeing 777-300ER. It's a smooth trip across, with the whole trip just taking 7 hours. We begin at Toronto Pearson Airport, where we depart on Runway 23 and climb over Mississauga with some lovely views of Hamilton in the distance. We initially cruise at 33,000 feet as we cross Quebec before climbing to 35,000 feet flying over Maine and Newfoundland. We commence our Atlantic Crossing with a final step climb to 37,000 feet as the sun begins to rise over the Republic of Ireland. We commence our descent over the west of England taking in views of Bristol and Bath and Wiltshire (My home county!!). It's a very quick arrival into London Heathrow, with no holding stack as we commence our approach over a very cloudy London for our landing onto runway 27L. The windows fog up as the air is milder outside as we taxi into Terminal 2.
Just a few notes with this flight, I have decided to move away from the telemetry data just as my laptop ran out of memory whilst rendering, and adding the data would have killed my laptop, so my apologies!
I really hope you enjoy this long haul night flight. Good night everybody!

Love the full flights on this channel. I put on my earphones and just enjoy the calming sound while studying or while I going to sleep. It's just like I am on the plane myself. I also enjoyed the segment before take off and laughed at the lady who didn't know where her seat was. She should've double checked her ticket before running her mouth, lol.
i am from the UK, i always fly to north america for holidays with my family as we love north america so much lol, we always fly over canada to our destination which takes about 11 hours usually.we set off at 2pm UK time and by the time we set off in the plane its already dark, and for the FULL flight because of the time difference it stays nightime so when we fly over canada we can always see the stars and little downs down below lit up its amazing
6:33:00 I've flown from the US to various European destinations on eighteen occasions. All of them overnight of course, but there is something magical about daylight returning as the flight makes landfall. As you watch the landscape scroll by far below , accompanied by a soundtrack of the steady rumble of the engines, it hits you.... "HEY!,,, That's not the U.S. down there.... It's a foreign country." Or in this case "Hey... That's not Canada down there..... ditto." One time I looked down to realize we were passing in clear sight of the D-Day beaches in Normandy. It was sad to think that a place that looked so peaceful in the pre-dawn light had been the site of such horror. On another flight a moment like this made me think of the raw guts of Charles Lindberg, climbing into that frail plane of his, and how with little more than a watch and a compass, made his own landfall over Ireland within three miles of his desired path. Don't worry about all those dark hours. Those of us who have had experiences like this get the idea.... Thanks and take care.
There really is something wonderful about those red eye flights! It's amazing how it's so normal now but just 100 years ago it was a mean feat! All the best!
I love this comment
I want more videos from you as theres not many youtubers that do full long length ones and in the description your right that's what I'm doing sleeping to it as soon as it gets of the ground 😊 😴
It's strange because I don't remember having any of these protective measures for the H1N1 flu pandemic, back in 2009. I don't remember having any of these safety precautions for Ebola back in the mid 2010s, SARS in 2002/03, or Zika back in 2016 or so.
I flew to London with my girl scout troop back in 2011, during my senior year of high school, except I think we might've flown United (or no, maybe it was American). We also flew over on a red eye. I find it too hard to sleep on planes OR in the car, but I brought my Ipod along to listen to during the flight, so I would be less likely to keep others awake.
I'll be taking the Toronto to London flight near the end of May, although it'll be on British Airways. Still, it's nice to get an idea of what to expect. I appreciate it.
Hope you had a nice trip on the same route!
That reading light destroys everything
The problem with red eye flights is that it is total blackness until the last hour or so. Beautiful shot of the sky at 7:12:20 though. Looks like you arrived to a typical gloomy English morning.
Awesome
thank you for recording and posting.
My pleasure!
Cool
Nice video! ✈
Nice
Lovely video, mate! The 777 is a magnificent beast and sounds amazing. Those mighty GE90s on start up are gorgeous, too. You wrote: "a number of hours of just black, but I hope you can use it as background noise to sleep or to work to..." - that is exactly the main reason for my viewing! As well as lovely view and the virtual feels! Nice work :)
Thanks very much! Glad I'm not the only one who works to the white noise! Bloody wonderful engines those GE90's.
Your the best
Thanks
7:18:38 pretty butter landing.
6:29 i love this
Is there's in-flight broadcasts included?
What happened after the landing? 🤔💭 Windows got all foggy😂 Must be humid
uhhh, errrr, at night flight? What's to see? Or will the sun come up soon?
What suction cup do you use?
May I ask what filming equipment you used and how you mounted that equipment to the aircraft?
Hi there. I used a GoPro Hero 8 Black. I also found a go pro suction cup mount on Amazon. This is attached to the window. I will also use a battery pack, (Anker are generally very good). But if there's USB charging available or plug outlets I will use this instead of the battery pack. It is up to the crew, many are happy with my setup but if they don't like it then I always adhere to their requests and not film
Thanks for your response@@theflightreview-fullflight9592
Nice video man, if you want please upload the flight from Toronto pearson Canada to Punta Cana Int. Airport.
I DON’T THINK SO … it’s all black

Buddy That’s so nice With what were you filming ??? That’s so wonderful God bless you How did you do that ?
Thanks very much. I used a Go Pro Hero 8 Black and had it plugged into the power ports on the aircraft. Suction cup to stick to the window. Used a 256gb card and filmed on 1080p to save space
@@theflightreview-fullflight9592 You are extremely intelligent buddy God bless you

I'm going in October and doing the same thing leaving Toronto at 10pm. I do have a question for anyone here. I am absolutely terrified with turbulence like terrified. I've heard mixed stories with the amount of any. Can anyone confirm for someone who is really not good with it. The anxiety of it is kinda ruining the anticipation of the trip as I've never been on a flight longer than 2 hours. Thank you!
I fly quite a lot. Turbulence is generally ok. Sometimes you will get a few bumps over the Atlantic. Turbulence is just the plane flying over pockets of air. I always think of it driving down a bumpy road. It can be very scary but the pilots always have control and will do everything possible to avoid the really serious turbulence.
I’m exactly the same. Go to your doctor and get prescription for Valium it’s the only way I can get through it. The fear is crippling. I’m here watching this brilliant video to try and get the courage to to go away with my daughters and husband for my 40th as we want to Canada but I’m too scared 😳
@@Sweetie8387 Ha ha Emily, I am here for the same reason. Just absolutely terrified/phobic about flying but really need to get back to the UK to see friends/family so am watching these videos trying to get into a headspace where it feels normal and average and the sounds etc. aren't scary. I really wish I wasn't like this, it's so bad. Ugh.
@@theflightreview-fullflight9592 I hate those random drops that rarely occur during heavy turbulence
What’s the seat number?
No need your seat on with light on need light off when your camera is on when you on flight so can see through window
Lamabanget

That’s crazy man
Hours of a dark sky... Really?
You get what the title says.. what’s there to complain about?
@@Ethan-im3kr Perhaps he should file a complaint with mother nature?
Yo'av Kaplun....You're a special kind of stupid, aren't you?
It was night time in Toronto that’s why there were hours in the dark
If it were in daylight you would probably be bitching about "It's nothing but blue water, blue sky and white clouds!"
Please drop the charge he ajqays do thet
Boring, just a Black Screen. 🤦♂
No content it’s all dark service not shown
guess he can light up the earth and somehow make it day like think before you comment
@@sunnyclean9743 Perhaps he's never flown before. XD
Hi Jamie! I'm a researcher for a documentary about planes and found this video very helpful. You have some beautiful shots! I was wondering if we could use it in our film? If you're interested please reply or give me an email to contact you by. Thanks! T'arah
Hi there, I am interested, if you have an email I can message you directly
Hi Jamie, annoyingly it keeps deleting my comments when I try to share it. I've added it into my youtube more about, channel details section. Hopefully you can see it there if not let me know. Sorry about this! @@theflightreview-fullflight9592
