  • You shouldn't have re-used the old battery. The structural integrity was compromised with the bend, and also, was probably due for replacement anyway due to it being an old phone.

    • Yeah, probably wasn't a great idea. The battery will still work for a while, but will eventually die and expand... he probably wanted to save money in the repair, being that good phone batteries are a bit on the expensive side of things.

    • Agreed, another way to test it is by rolling the battery on a flat surface. If it spins (not good). If it doesn't (good)

    • This was more a full replacement though just like I did on my Nokia N95 which I had to buy a whole frame and a crap LCD but sadly the LCD was so cheap like 4eur or less that had horrible quality so broke it against the wall and never bothered ordering a better one :) Maybe one day I could buy a LCD 4 it and go retro 😎

  • You've done a wonderful job👍👌👌 of refurbishing that STORMED Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone. My question would be, from which website can you order the Suoar AMOLED Display complete with housing/frame and touch panel? Because I want to replace the display of my own Galaxy S 7edge phone. I am still writing about this phone. Unfortunately, the touch screen is completely cracked with cobwebs and the display is stained in a couple of places. Thank you very much in advance for your help.

  • 9:24 Glue shouldn't be allowed here. The back cover already has adhesive and sealing tape. You poured glue on the screws and the button recess. Massacre

    • @@soumyasingh436 What a stupid answer. The manufacturer never foresaw and did not add glue there. The seal and adhesive is the tape that the back cover has on it 9:20 (just break the green layer with protection). No need to add additional glue there.
