All I could think about was the maintenance this machine would need to have on a daily basis.... LOL I really wish the US would step up our vending machine game. I've seen some interesting bakery ones in malls in recent years but they're really not that good.

That thing would be a permanent fixture on my counter 😊 I never wanna get a step ladder, get the blender down from on top of the fridge, sit there and hold the top down, check every minute if it's blended enough... you make an auto smoothie machine, that will be sold out _so_ fast.

Japan has had the best vending machines but Singapore seems to be trying to get there. The smoothies look interesting but it seems like the machines need a self cleaning feature to realy work otherwise you'd need a guy on call 24/7.

While cool in concept, it's only working so so. Many things not falling down (spinach, oats), then the whole thing jamming, furthermore it wasn't really ever looking clean enough for me to consider buying something myself there and I am not confident in their cleaning runs in between orders too. I don't quite get why it doesn't get a foil like the orange juice ones to prevent people spilling it out in the machine to keep it looking cleaner either. One needs to hope the whole vending machine is cooled and not just the fruits with the pieces falling around and the fruitsquash getting thrown around. This isn't a problem when someone can just clean up after a few minutes in a regular bar but a machine like that is probably not going to get serviced more than once a day. Overall, maybe the next iteration of that will be better.

as good as those look, the fact that there's just fruit and dairy floating around so loosely in the dispenser part of that machine grosses me out. The lid thing was nasty. Just feels like something that needs too much upkeep for a vending machine.

I’m just disappointed that the machine isn’t self cleaning. The smoothie machines at Kiwk Trips are more self cleaning than this
