This is a sneak peek at the first ever electric Rolls Royce, the Rolls Royce Spectre. This is going to be one of the coolest cars in the world and is expected to come out in late 2023.     • The rich don't care about the environment. That's why I laugh when they talk about the environment. Huge gas guzzling cars amd huge houses that use 5 to 10 times the electricity as a normal house. Not to mention their personal jets.

  • you can see clearly see the similarities in design with BMWs. but the split headlight design fits the rolls royce much better than the 7 series

    • @@unowen-nh9ov - Er no, I’m afraid not. I live quite near to the finishing plant in West Sussex and can categorically assure you 100% that all the oily bits are manufactured in the BMW plant in Germany. Even BMW’s ‘i-Drive’ system is installed almost unmodified in RRs.

    • @@AtheistOrphan They’re still on a different and Rolls Royce-only chassis now bud. Called the “architecture of luxury” the old 7 series chassis is gone. The plant can make both out of different materials you know that right? Also they’re still hand assembled and finalized in the UK

  • At 4:50 Is a matter of fact that could be the feature of the grill to let you know when it's charged cause think about it if you are put it on the charger and you don't know if it's fully charged at least go on inside of it if you get it where you can open your door at your house and look out and see where it is on the grill it would be perfect

  • I had to read about King Arthur for school once, these always remind me of that. The beginning of the story, in Camelot, talks about everyone driving "cars" and a festival happened after 2 knights had such good armor, that neither could kill the other, and they collapsed in a hot field, exhausted. The soldiers became bored and sharpened their swords again and again, until the blade become shorter, and shorter, and pointer. I feel like this car would be at home in any of those scenes, the Owen Magnetic was an electric car before WW1. I wanna build one with a Tokamak Nuclear Fusion Reactor... that would make it a Nuclear powered car, that could also run on Fusion, or possibly Antimatter.

  • I'm not surprised it's taken this long for Rolls Royce to go fully electric, in fact, I'm still surprised they're doing it this early at all. Reason being, Rolls Royce seems to make pretty reliable cars with gas engines and a transmission. I don't recall hearing any complaints about anyone replacing an engine or transmission in a Rolls Royce. Just components and accessories usually, and with proper maintenance they just run forever, it seems. However, with an electric car, after so many years of use, there's currently nothing you can do to keep the battery from deteriorating and will inevitably be due to replace the entire battery. A company like Rolls Royce prides themselves in longevity, quality, and timeless design inside and out. Nothing says "dated" more than a car that needs a replacement main component like a drive battery, especially in a relatively short number of years, something like 10 or so years.
