CROW SHOOTING | WHAT YOU NEED TO SHOOT CROWS | MY PRE-SEASON KIT CHECK LIST

It is time to get out on some corvids!
The farmer wanted a few thinning out so we showed willing. Typically with most winter crow shooting the action didn't last for long before they left the area. But I managed to get a few on film.
Check out the crow shooting kit I will be using this season. It might not be the top of the range gadgets but it works pretty well for me!
Hot Barrels,
Rob.

  • You do well to transition to crows straight from driven game birds. A completely different target. Fair play 👍

  • Another great video mate. Can't beat a bit if crow bashing. Always surprises me how hard they are and how they can take the whole pattern and still carry on

  • I really like the nitehawk ghillie net. Slightly cheaper than the jack pyke one, and you can hang it one of 2 ways - one way gives complete concealment and the other leaves a slight gap at the top but still has the base scrim net to peep through, if you see what i mean. Really really good. And your cradles are the best 👌🏼 I've had several and i found the ones like yours wort best. A1 decoys are they? Or UK Shootwarehouse, one of the 2. Oh, and i have an idleback chair that i may part with, for the right money of course 😅

  • How do you rate the jack pyke ghillie net? I'm tempted but never found jack pyke products to have much quality do you add another net behind the ghillie net? Cheers Rob

  • Not true about the gun licence. If you read the conditions of possession on your licence it specifically states that you do not have to carry it with you. If you are not shooting on your own land it maybe a good idea to carry it in case some idiot reports you to the Police but there is no legal requirement to carry it.

    • That’s interesting, my Firearms Officer told me I had to carry it by law.. always useful to carry it though 👍

    • @@fieldsportswithspeed Just shows how little Firearms Officers know, most of them know very little about Firearms law actually. It is always stated clearly in the letter which accompanies your FAC or SGC.

    @beeboop1726@beeboop17263 ай бұрын
    • Hey bud, my set up is very similar what ever time of the year. What I would say though is in the winter months, a lot more decoys to give confidence and the impression it’s a good spot for food works well 👍

    • @@fieldsportswithspeed decent cheers mate for the response. I have my grandas old decoying stuff but I definitely need new decoys and better netting.
