Live At Leeds has been cited as the best live rock album of all time but I couldn't find any video from the concert. For me this version of Magic Bus is the best for sure. I didn't want to imagine that performance anymore so I decided to make my video from different sources. Please write your critics and comments. How do you like my video?

And I'll bet it's one of your favorite memories. What a fun story to tell the kids. Great tale, thanks for sharing.
@@frejyalongbow5736 I'm sure that was back before people lost their minds & actually could be trusted.
@@ashlynn1652 I think its a great memory for her. I have a similar story involving a Who concert I attended in 82. Its one of my favorite concerts because of the odd twists and turns in the adventure. Not my first concert. Not the first time that I saw those Rock Gods. Second time actually, first time I saw them in London. That 2nd one is my favorite though. Unfortunately, even then, people were Bat Shit Crazy, sometimes more so. LSD, Cocaine, Mushrooms ETC...(not weed), helped with the bat shit effect. Now there seems to be professional crazies, not as many are drug induced, but real pros at what they do. Trust rarely factors in....
Awesome memory.. good times !
Wow! Loved to seen them in their prime..

Greatest rock and roll band ever. This album proves it!
Absolutely!!!!! Hands down, the best!!!
Entwistle's bass is amazing.
Is Keith moon mesmerising or what I've never heard a drummer like him in my life he makes the band xx god bless
Moon broke the mold. There will never be another.
I was at this concert near the front. I couldn't hear for three days afterwards! They were loud!!
Well mate if that's so, then since you're very likely in your 70's (or beyond?!), and I would imagine your hearing doesn't work so well these days either!!
Lol, Keith holding back from wailing for 3 and a half minutes is hysterical.

The Who at this time were the most visually exciting band in the world!
It took Jimmy hendrix to come along out of fukin nowhere to even try to upstage them!! Top,band man!!. Lucky enough to seen em live!! Unbelievable bro!

One of my favorite live albums! I got to see The Who play it in 1973 at MSG NYC. FREAKING awesome concert for less than 10 bucks!
I saw them play just as Tommy was being released and the face value of the ticket was $5. I bought bootleg tix for $8 each. (it was sold out)
Back in the Stone Age, I moved to NYC post-college to join a training program at a big investment bank. The program included a stint working overnight in the 'data center,' where they kept the big IBM machines that processed all transactions for the bank each night. We dressed in suits, but it was a physical gig, literally running around feeding the machines data needed to keep processing. While some colleagues preferred certain substances for motivation, I grabbed the first cassette off my flatmate's desk (Live at Leeds...had never heard it), borrowed his boombox, and played it at absolute top volume. About 20 minutes in, the shift manager poked his head through the automatic sliding doors, thus flooding this song into the other room where the other 20-odd people were working. He stared at me for about a 5 count, shook his head, and left. He never bothered me again, and I played it every single shift afterward.
I am 73. Music like this keeps me going. Think I'll stay awhile.

Anyone into Punk bands then was influenced by the groove of this song Best bass player and one hell of a drummer
Pete Townshend, as a multi-layered Guitarist, is so underrated that it's just goddamn wrong!!!! That guy is one of the best guitarists out there. Not only is he an amazing composer, the guy is just a phenomenal musician. He only solos when the song asks for one. And when the song asks for one, he delivers something executed so well, with dynamics, tension, mood, atmosphere and above all a sense of rhythm that is off the scale, that one wonders why his songs don't ask for more solos. Because ... they don't all need one, and he knows that.

Big Who/Entwistle fan here; have been getting into John Paul Jones lately & realizing how much greater he is than I ever realized. Have heard the Live at Leeds Magic Bus so many times & this time your comment made me realize that YIKES, Entwistle did stuff with the bass from another dimension that was underneath everything he did. Oh dear. I hope his family is ok.
Rip, diamonds are forever!
I had the great fortune to be there when they recorded Live at Leeds. A buddy at the University got us tickets and a friend and I hitchhiked up from London, where we were working at the time. The night was every bit as good as it sounds on the album. 50 years on, it's still the loudest concert I ever went to. My ears were still ringing when I woke up the next day.
I had the good fortune to be there when they recorded the Isle of Wight festival. I still remember that night - the Who going full blast from 2 to 4 AM.
I was there too!
Oh how I wish I was English and born in 1942!
So you are about 35 now??? Right???

When The Who were at the top of their game, from about 1969 to 1975, no one, absolutely no one, could touch them. Their live shows were stellar. They were the most important rock band, ever. From Tommy to Quadrophenia, it was pure magic. After Keith died, they still remained very good, but it was over.

Went to see the Who in2019 and was guest vocalist in a Who Tribute band. Went by myself and couldnt find an Uber or taxi back so I walked all the way to a restaurant at least 14 blocks away..halfway home. I thought I could get a cup of tea and then go the remaining 14 blocks. Across the street from the deli was a few people with Who backstages on and one invited me with them and we went upstairs to the upper part of the restaurant. I was asked what I did and I told them I did guest vocals for the Who tribute. They asked which one and I told them and they said they were friends with them! This was amazing because the band was in another state from.me..and so were they!💜🎸

I’ve forgotten how many times I’ve seen them. I think they’re the reason I have Tinnitus. LOL I had tickets to the Cincinnati show along a bunch of friends. I didn’t go for some reason. It was a long night into the next day to find out if my friends were alright. I saw them 2 nights after & the crowd was mellow, respectful of the tragedy. Then came the encore. Listening to you…the arena exploded. Pouring our love & support to the band. I’d seen them many times before & they doubled the length of the encore. I listened to this album until my ears bled! I spent my life in music, born in the 50s, went along with that, woke up in the 60s with The Beatles, Small Faces then THE WHO. I saw KEITH MOON once and remembered why I was here on Earth. I played drums with professionals starting at age 12 - I still play with my Granddaughter's band - I toured Europe/UK, and worked with legends like the Four Tops and the Temptations. I met and shook hands with then played for...CHUCK BERRY. I have been blessed. Thank you Keith John Moon and later John Bonham.
You saw Keith! Lucky you!
I worked for The Four Tops and The Temptations as well as many others too. Small World for sure. I'm an Audio Engineer, started back when the mixers were just pots like was used at Woodstock. Worked all the way to the "digital revolution." The analog days were the fun times, by far.
