  • I loved the way you tell a story with the braid, "three's a crowd," "the one that's waiting" etc.! It made is SO much easier to follow. My bread looks great and I can't wait to bake and see the finished product.

  • Your instructions are so clear that I think I can actually do a 6-strand braid. It helped a lot that you showed yourself braiding the whole loaf. That gave it time to sink in so I can probably do one without rewatching the video. Thank you!

  • i just made two loaves of challah that look horrible but taste delicious! I tried this so many times that my dough was just about dry before I braided any way I could with 6 strands just to get it in the oven. I wish I had found this video before I tackled the 6-strand plaiting. Having it oriented from what I would see is far, far more helpful than watching and trying this when the camera is pointing at the person teaching and my view is upsidedown! Thank you!!

    • It's called hard dough bread which is basically a sturdy white bread and at Easter it's made more decoratively.. Also those of Sephardic Jewish ancestry make an plaited egg bread.

    @graham5105@graham51057 жыл бұрын
    • You are right, it can be done that way. However many people want the dough to ferment overnight to modify the gluten so they can digest it more easily. Long fermented sourdough is done for a reason.
