We feel sad, and it is sad for her family and friends. But she said at GG, she was waiting for Austin Butler to win the Oscar, so she had no idea the end was near. Her pains in her stomach are very worrying. Perhaps she was suffering from some condition that no one knew about. Regardless, she's going to be very missed.

I remember how she broke the register at Target because she spent over $3,000 buying things for those who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina. She said helping others made her happy. She was so genuine. I will miss her always❤.
Her father was the same way. Especially during the festive season. He saw a couple struggling to get their truck started and stopped to help. He actually took the man to a car dealership and bought him a new truck. At first the couple hadn't recognised Elvis, they'd just thought he was a nice man who had stopped to help. But when the owner of the dealership said: "Will that be all, Mr. Presley?" the man finally twigged. "Oh, it's Elvis!" He couldn't believe it. Then Elvis handed him $500 on top of that.
@@sharonjensen3016 I remember the story of Elvis on an airplane coming across a Vietnam vet and giving him all the money he had on him. Elvis and his daughter were so much alike. They were caring, compassionate, generous souls. The world is worse off without them. I am still in shock over her passing. It doesn’t seem real and, yet, I look at her grave and know it is. Amazing how much we can love someone we never met.
She was like her father wanting to help others who was less fortunate than her that was a lovely thing she did may she rest in peace with her dad and son 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

A truly beautiful memorial. I am another person in shock of Lisa Marie's passing. I am 6 months younger than Lisa Marie. My mother was a huge Elvis fan and I grew up with his gospel music in our house. She even chose my middle name, Marie, because Elvis's daughter was Lisa Marie. I was 9 when Elvis passed and remember my mom got a phone call and started bawling. I thought maybe my grandma passed....but it was her beloved Elvis. I followed Lisa Marie's life as we were so close in age. I loved her music, and could related to many of her battles. She was so beautiful and such a real human in her countenance. This hits hard on many levels for me. I made it through watching this touching and emotional memorial until the end when they played the duet of Lisa Marie and Elvis "Where No One Stands Alone"...the tears hit. Rest in eternal peace Lisa Marie. May you be singing in the heavenly choir with your dad and in eternal joy with your beloved son.
Thank you, Ms. Priscilla, for letting us to be part of this service. Lisa Marie was a very beautiful woman and she had a great gift for making music. I know that she, and her father, Elvis, are making music in our Heavenly Father’s choir.

The letter her daughter wrote and her husband who read it was absolutely heartbreaking. We all can relate to how we feel about our own mothers in that letter. That touched me so much. Feel so bad for them all.

My son died at 27 in November his birthday was July 12 the day Lisa’s son died at the same age as Jimmy my son. So much of this service brought back so much pain I’m just happy she’s with Benjamin.

I'm so glad they made it public. She was so famous and deserved universal recognition. I'm sure the family had private time at Graceland. You can't separate Lisa from Elvis, it's impossible and she knew that. I wish she was still here, talking about her dad, being happy about the movie. She was so pretty this summer, at Cannes and going on press tours. She bonded with Austin. She loved the movie and said so. But the soul always knows when to go home. That last song is one of my favorites. Be happy LMP.
She was famous and yes she was talented but… she as with any other celebrity with at least one famous parent only gained a foot hold in the business because of her father’s name and the fact she was his daughter and carried that name.

She had a few forgettable songs that only hardcore Elvis fans care about because the music industry surely didn't. Lisa Marie road the " I'm Elvis Presley Kid" bandwagon even as the wheels were falling off. She did absolutely nothing on her own in the industry. Her so called music career is what executives call " a failed attempt". She was not famous on her own. Not at all. She was important in the world of Elvis fans and only his fans. The rest of the world did not seem to take her as serious as she took herself.

Lisa was far too young to pass away like this. She’s not much older than me. I grew up with her, in a sense. She’s been part of my era and it still seems unreal that she’s gone. My heart truly hurts for her mom and kids, especially her young twins. They really needed her to guide them into becoming strong, independent women. This was the hardest passing of a celebrity, so far. Can’t believe I’m balling like a baby listening to Priscilla. Her heart is shattered, yet, she’s standing in front of a crowd giving her testimony about her baby girl. Shouldn’t be happening.
I agree, she was my age and from the same era. It’s truly heartbreaking. I feel for her Mother and children. They all seem very close and always have dignity. May she be reunited with her son and Father.

Even though they were divorced, she still loved him. Now, their only baby girl passes.? Just so incredibly unfair. She wasn’t even that old. I think it’s gonna show an underlying heart issue. Elvis died from heart issues, and those types of issues are carried down. She wasn’t well at the Golden Globes. I think whatever happened, it was already in motion. She probably never even thought it could be something this serious. It’s just heart breaking. I cried watching the memorial. I never cry.

Lisa Marie was a quite celebrity to her father. While Elvis was alive he portrayed himself a devoted son and really exposed family as a wholesome prospect. Even if his life deviated due to the negative impacts of fame, he held on to it. I think Lisa is just one of the objects of adoration; a national treasure that tried to uphold that role that her father left her. So this memorial is quite respectful.

I feel especially bad for the twin girls. They've been through a lot and I pray they will be well taken care of no matter where they are and who they will live with.

Some people say “Who cares she was just a celebrity.” She was a Mother, daughter and a human being. Her children and mother mourn her! She lost a child to suicide. Lisa Marie was not “just a celebrity.” She was a human being who was loved by many.
It was a beautiful service and I would like to thank the Presley family for their graciousness in holding this Memorial Service and sharing it with the world. It's a true act of kindness, respect and love, extended to us all... Bless you! I for one, am comforted by the love shown to Lisa by all who had the privilege to have known her and by the countless people who never met her. It's a tribute that is truly love based. RIP Lisa. I am sad that you are no longer on this earth but rejoice that you are with your son, your father and other family members. Sending much love from Vancouver Canada. My mom was a big Elvis fan, so I kind of grew up with Lisa Marie. She was three years older than me, but I remember reading about her, hearing about her, and seeing pictures of her. It's sad that she's gone because it's like the end of an era. She will take the memory of her father with her. I know people are sad and it is a sad day, but when I look back, I can't help but think what an extraordinary life she lived! I mean, to have THAT legacy on her shoulder all the while trying to find her own identity, have her own life, her own family, her own career - that must have been absolutely daunting at times. What was also amazing about her is that when most children of celebrities are bashing their famous parents or writing tell-all books about how their parents neglected them or abused them, Lisa never did. She was fiercely protective of her father's memory and let everyone know how much she loved him. She also had that F*** You attitude but I think that was more of a defense mechanism from all the slings and arrows from the critics and the cynics who compared her to her father or who said she had too much but didn't do anything to earn it. I will miss her.
Thank you Presley family for sharing this special event with the World. I'm saddened with the thought that we have lost an era of special magic. Love and condolences to you all, may the light forever shine on you. Elvis, Lisa and Ben will eternally watch over you and walk beside you, until you meet again.
