Girl, I’m 37 and I put up glow in the dark stars on my bedroom ceiling after I turned 30. string lights are a VIBE! Being an adult doesn’t mean you have to be boring 😅

I am 62 and I am getting ready to add some fairy lights to my bed frame, it will be really good for reading at night, I loved your apartment tour, it is so pretty.
OMG!! I'm in my 60's and I have fairy lights in my bedroom and around my headboard. I get compliments when I leave them on and have family and guests over for dinners. Go for it!!

Apartment looks awesome! Lights are lights🤣 they look great! I'm 31 and married and have white lights on black wiring around a window for ambience so, you're all good! LOL Only suggestion is maybe charge your phone in your bedroom for safety since you are alone. You can get it quicker in emergency. All the best,
My opinion, but as a female, and for general safety, I would always keep my phone next to me at night. If I'm tired, I just turn it off and go to sleep. Safety first.❤
I’m 22 as well and I have fairy lights in my room. On top of that, my room is filled with plushies lol. I don’t care that people think it’s childish as the lights and plushies make me happy and I am healing my inner child. Love your apartment btw 💜

Hi Charlotte! Shame on whoever said negative comments about your fairy lights. It's your apt and your bedroom. You can have fairy lights all over your apt if you want. I love your bedroom with the fairy lights. It's beautiful. Your whole apt is beautiful. I use kids mouthwash bc I like the bubble gum flavor. I don't like adult mouthwash and I have some cute toys. A llama that plays music and dances and a pink pig that walks and dances. You can have anything you want in your apt no matter how old you get. Thank you for the apartment tour. Every adult needs a little fairy light moment somewhere to keep the magic and whimsy alive in their life :) This apartment is your transition out of college into "big girl" life, and the lights fit that vibe. Also, very functional! I love all the creative choices you've made with the furniture to fit your life with the couch and the sofa tables and table/desk. I love it when spaces can be super practical and functional and also beautiful.
Hi Charlotte! I’m catching up on all your previous videos. I found you when you were apartment-hunting. I love your little nest and the way you have decorated it. You do you, Charlotte! I am 75 and LOVE your fairy lights…keep them up. I have battery operated candles all over the house ( can’t have real candles because I have 2 crazy dogs and I’m afraid of fire). One other thing…please keep your phone near you in the bedroom when you sleep. You may need it in an emergency! Just a worried granny always thinking of safety. Chris💖

First off, congrats and beautiful apartment. Also, I am almost 40 years old and my husband and I just added fairy lights to our newly remodeled master bedroom. No idea what college kids do these days, and frankly, I don't care. We wanted a cozy zen vibe, and they are perfect. You do you! And kuddos to you for calling them out and speaking your peace. 👏
Idea: You could add photo frames in your hallway kind of like displaying your life or stages of your life like your 1st bday, or the day you grauated, first day off college etc. Your apartment is already sooo nice but I think this extra touch would give it even a more home-y feeling. Its ok if you dont like the idea :) I HOPE YOU ARE SAFE, SECURE, AND HAPPY!!

Charlotte, your face lights up so much when you show us your apartment 😊. It shows how much you love it, and how proud you are of it! You should be proud, you’ve decorated it beautifully. Your apartment is absolutely stunning, and those windows and the view, absolutely breathtaking! Your bedroom is so cozy with the fairy lights. There is absolutely nothing about your bedroom or apartment that gives off college dorm vibe. You’re a beautiful young woman with an apartment to be envied 😊. Most people don’t have what you have at 32, much less 22!

I’m almost 25 and I got a string of Christmas lights above my bed and I have a string of Christmas lights in my living room on my curtain rod above my couch. I’ll keep doing it until I’m still here on earth. You do you, I love the fairy lights

Hi Charlotte, I absolutely love your apartment, you really did pick a nice one. Your decorating is so beautiful and fits your style. I am not in my 20' far away and I love fairy lights and have them myself, I feel they make a room comfy-cozy. I agree a coffee table would have made the living room look and feel cluttered. Your bedroom seems to be a great place to relax and enjoy the evening after a busy work day, definitely a nice reading spot! Beautiful. A video on how you budgeted for the furnishing would be helpful - moved in from college with no savings but blessed with a great job and yet to start furnishing. Some people say it’s best I save to buy at once later or I buy bit by bit

You have got a really nice apartment there. And I like the fairy lights. My daughter uses them in her bedroom as well. The only thing I would’ve done differently is that I would not have gotten that kitchen table. (Which is practical) but would have gotten a chaise lounge and a nice little side table so that I could sit there and have tea and soak up the sun and do my journaling that way. I really like your sofa, tables and green chairs as an eating area.

Congratulations on your new apartment. Decorating a new space is fun. I just came back from DC yesterday. I had such a good time there. If I had to move, I would consider moving to DC. I don’t know how anyone could be bored living there given all of the museums and other activities to do. Good luck with your channel.

omg girl...I live in the Bangor Maine area and we just got hit with a big snow storm here over the weekend. 12+ inches. you are lucky you live in the DC area where its beautiful weather. But you know your gonna have to come back home for summer vacation for a good ol Lobsta roll...lol wicked good...lol

Looks like an awesome apartment, great tour. I also don’t have a coffee table so I use side tables plus the tv stand. I like having the open space in the middle of the room without having to worry about the need to move it around. Also you do you with the decoration. I think the lights you have are great and very functional considering you don’t have a window or overhead light in your room.

My first apartment was in Knoxville, I had cardboard boxes with pillowcases on top to finish them off, and a view of the interstate! You have everything ahead of you. Welcome to DC! For small balcony furniture I recommend Walmart or Target. You could make the space a comfortable one-person oasis or a two-person conversation area.
I lived in Georgetown for Grad School and had in unit laundry and it made life soooooo much easier.

They should of put a louver door on that third door in the hallway closet so it was more cohesive.. "Balcony" you just need one chair with a footstool you can slide underneath & a small table to hold a drink....maybe a floor plant

I can’t believe how you’ve created such cute distinct areas in such a small space. I tried to live in 500 sq ft and couldn’t do it. I’m in 600 sq ft and that extra 100 makes a huge difference! Loved your move in videos!
I have Christmas lights on all the time year round too but I have them around my eucalyptus trees in my bedroom and living room. They make me happy! Nice apartment!
