I remember my mate was playing against Babylonians on hardest level and had a hard time with the priests converting his troops, so he made a villager army and defeated them 😂

what bothers me is that against the longsword the villager is left with 17 hp, so 7 damage per hit by the longsword, but longsword only deals 9 damage, why is longsword the only one in this test with the first blacksmith upgrade?

It seems to me that the spanish villagers are very balanced because you need to make them fight and they don't fight automatically like the sicilian sergeants, also you need a lot of food for villagers army

People actually don't understand how weak these ills are, as someone who has played ranked at a high level for years, Supremacy is strong in imp to help defend against raids. you must also remember, this is locked behind imperial age and a relatively expensive technology and require stupid amounts of micro. they still just die straight out to mangonel line or scorpions as well as any decent archer or cav.

Longswords had some blacksmith upgrades in this video, but man at arms were unupgraded. Two handed swords went back to zero upgrades so they don't seem much better. MAA only landed 3 hits on the villager and received 5 even though they both have same attack speed. It seems the MAA was already injured before the video was taken. Longswords are much stronger, but the difference isn't this insane.

@@romero9274 what is extremely weird is that the halb deals 20 damage, so probably 4 damage and 5 attacks, so just one attack upgrade, same with longsword, others don't seem to have any. Why just those two, why just the one upgrade and not all? I will not rest until I have answers

I don't know if this is balanced, but it is accurate. Sí. Edit: To put it into perspective, I've had Spaniards recommend carrying a navaja instead of a gun for self defense. Why? Because if you're carrying a gun, somebody is dying. But if you carry a knife, they might survive.

Nope. The upgrades aren't consistent either. Two handed swords do 3 more damage than longswords, but villager had 17hp left against LS and 8 against 2HS. If the 2HS had the same upgrades as the LS, the villager would've lost. Man at arms fight makes no sense. Even without upgrades they should be doing 3 damage per hit to the villager and die in 5 hits. Since they have same attack speed, it should've done atleast 15 damage (or 12 if villager attacked first). But villager only took 9 damage, so was the MAA already injured before starting the video? Militia, MAA, 2HS, spear and pike have zero upgrades but LS, champions and halberdier have some.
