  • The only real mistake was Kitty can 100000% have A high when you give her 5:1 on a call on the flop. So yeah, the Ace is actually a *HORRIBLE* bluff card. You should either barrel turn, probably with JT because it removes JJ/TT and also unblocks AK/AQ more, but QJ probably could if that was the 6 spades instead.

    @dealerG@dealerG3 ай бұрын
    • I wouldn’t say that was the *only* mistake. But yeah I did a double take when he said that because Kitty has many Ace highs in her range that get to the river like that. Probably has almost all combos of A10-AK

  • The thing about poker is you can do the same exact thing and get different results each session. There's always different variables, players and luck of cards that change but if you keep playing your game and tighten up a little you'll be fine. You're in a down swing but cant force run good so let it come to you. Take a few days to relax and come back fresh with positivity. If that doesnt work just keep making content. Also it seems cash games have been a way to punt quickly lately, if you want to conserve do some tournaments and hold yourself to a bullet rule. Discipline is something that has to be brought to the poker table everyday. Without it, you rely solely on being a luck box to profit. Best of luck Ethan and happy new year!

You have an advantage to get out of it, take the extended break, relax your mind and remember what you are playing for and study, you got tons of videos that you explain proper reads and play. Your play that night was a lot of gambling, you are chasing losses. (5 bullets) As poker players we rely on skill and reads, we hunt the gamblers, but because of tilt you have become the gambler. From that first hand, you were raised huge, you forgot three things, one overbets tend to mean they got it, two it is okay to fold, and three you dont have to see it. Hope you get better soon.

  • Hi rampage, I’ve been watching your Vlogs since you’re $1/$3 days. It’s been really inspiring and impressive to see you work your way all the way up to these ranks. I’m going to give you some advice that I hope you take seriously. I think what you’re going through is what we poker players all know as winners tilt. After being so successful for so long, I think you’re making decisions on the poker table that are much more risky because you have less concerned for the money. Especially when you play tournaments, you seem to play recklessly. My advice is to start playing solid hands. Play a little tighter. Most of the players know how much you gamble, so change it up and play tight. You’ll be able to win a majority of the hands you play, build up your bankroll, and then occasionally you can bluff and take bigger risks. Don’t let this downswing escalate to the point where you go broke. We’ve seen way too many people suffer from the runaway train of a downward swing. I hope you figure out a way to reverse this pattern. We all love watching you and want to see you succeed.

  • When I was younger I had more of that "gambling urge" .. which is what I think is getting you into trouble .. I'd suggest playing a little more like you were in a chess tournament, take every move seriously, find the precise best move in every situation. And as you know playing junk hands leads you into scenarios where you have to continue, but shouldn't have been there in the first place. Maybe play some low stakes blackjack to get the gambling out of your system.
