  • My mom watches all your videos and talks to me about them. Her and my dad used to drive from Wisconsin to Arizona a couple times a year sometimes, to visit me. I moved here in 1998. We always had so much fun driving around seeing the sites. This is the first time I’m watching one of your videos, and they are really great! I can see why my mom likes them so much. It really feels like I’m there with you. Like I’m looking out the windshield or side. It reminds my mom of those fun times when my dad was still here. Me too. Thank you for your unique way of sharing your trips and knowledge with us!

  • Last time I was Phoenix AZ I attended a huge Nursing conference. It was at the beginning of April that year and boy was it HOT! It got as high as 106°F in the shade. I almost had heat exhaustion. I was miserable. A bunch of us from our Nursing College flew down and rented a car. The day before the conference ended, our group decided to take the car and drove east up into the more mountainous area. Ended up gawds know where and at the end of the road, next to a creek we found a biker type bar. Great food, cold beers and absolutely gorgeous wildflowers blooming everywhere. The best day of hookie I have ever had. Friends, flowers, cold beers, gorgeous scenery and awesome sunset. AZ is a great place. I miss living in the desert. I used to live in Utah where I attended college at now called Utah State University East in Price, UT. Loved the video btw.

  • Nice to be back riding shotgun with you even if it's under cloudy skies. The desert bloom looks to be kind of spotty this year but I'm sure you'll find some nice patches on your travels. The yellow brittlebrush is always one of the first to come out, especially on the side of the road where it gets the runoff from the rain. Very cool to see someone playing disc golf out there. I bring a couple of golf discs when I'm on the road and always keep an eye out for courses to play. Until next time, happy trails!

Some not so much but are still a lot of fun! You can get setup with Disc without investing a ton of money. Like anything else you can spend what you want to spend! Some even have Tournaments at night time. Thanks for the tour , being cool there now is wild.
