I agree that Ella's song was amazing until I heard her say it was in honor of her Grandfather??? She loved him and misses him, that song was about someone that broke her heart and mistreated her????

Why did Simon cry for
His mom passed away and the song brought on feelings.
It really irks me how Simon treats a contestant that brings him to tears with a very emotional song. Like Josh who lost his best friend when he was 18. That would bring most people to tears so Simon doesn't need to feel bad about crying. It actually makes him more loved
Look up why. It wasn’t about the contestant but why he was crying.
His mom had recently passed. When my mom passed everything upset me. I feel for him thank god he has a daughter and a beautiful to look forward to but nothing replaces the love of a mum. ❤

He was so moved and felt the emotion that he couldnt compose himself to even reply. He was speechless. The feeling lingered. Simons reaction was amazing. How he was afterward should make any contestant truly feel amazing that Simon reacted that way. He felt so much you can see.
You got it completely wrong. Simons reaction was because the song reminded him about his own personal loss. It was definately not disrespect. If you think about it, it was the opposite, because the contestant invoked exactly the emotion he was using as inspirstion for the song. Also, I think its the only contestant ever who managed to shut Simon up.

Just irks me how he treats people in general I mean just cuz he's a judge that doesn't mean you treat people in the worst possible way some of them are still kids and you're going to ruin them, they may not have talent but that doesn't mean you got to say things that are going to stick. Have some class just say no. It's not that hard
