Very, very accurate, except for Epic and Stella. They’re my personal favorites, I’m surprised to see you put such… mixed reactions to them. Especially Stella. (The one about Go 2.0 made me laugh out loud haha)
I think Epic is a bit overhyped, it's an excellent spin-off, but not as great as the originals. Just because I used the "a bit rich" clip for that one doesn't mean it isn't good. Stella is just okay to me, nothing special in terms of what it brings to the table. I did like the show though. Remember, I only had so many clips to work with. Didn't want to repeat anything. I hold the OG games to such high standards, so anything that doesn't invoke those same feelings is relatively subpar. It's all in good fun, it's good to have different opinions.
@@MaximusOverdrive I have a ton of good memories with Epic, it does the RPG thing super well, and really fleshed out Piggy island, not to mention probably being the closest thing to a game directly based off the Toons. Stella REALLY fleshed out the slingshot game style. The birds abilities take a lot more precision and care to use effectively, adding a lot more strategy to the game, and the level design reflects that. I also just REALLY love its atmosphere. Anyway I don't get to talk about Angry Birds much so I'll take whatever opportunity I can to gush about it lol

I might be biased but I think the drop off happen after angry birds 2 and maybe action I enjoyed every game before this and lefted after the death of ab fight and ab stella so I haven’t play most if the other games

I think most are kidding themselves calling it great. It’s better than anything we get today, but still a step down from the true classics. Hard to be a great Angry Birds game that doesn’t have that classic slingshot gameplay.

This perfectly shows how rovio changing the angry birds formula to basic dumb tile-matching games, ruined what made angry birds unique from other mobile games at the time, besides we can all agree angry birds Star Wars 2 was the pinnacle of the slingshot formula

I like Epic, but I don't love it. Hard to compare an RPG to the Slingshot games. It's a great spinoff, but not worthy of S-tier for me. Might have to give Transformers another chance. From what I've play/what I've seen, it isn't my cup of tea. Curious as to why you like Angry Birds 2?

@@westernengine11 Gotta disagree there. 2 has both randomly generated levels and selectable birds, which sounds cool on paper, but it just leads to every level feeling bland and unoriginal. Levels can no longer be designed as puzzles themed around the birds used, and are reduced to mindless at best, and bullshit impossible at worst. You can no longer practice and get good at levels because not only are the levels randomly generated each time you play them, but there's a stamina system that discourages you from retrying levels. In classic, all birds were useful because each level was designed with that bird in mind. Now that the levels and birds are both random, some birds, such as the Blues, are entirely useless now due to how situational they are. This also leads to some birds getting unnecessary buffs to compensate for their abilities being situational. Red never had a permanent ability before now because he didn't need one. This also means that if you use all of your good birds on the first wave of a level, since levels come in waves now, you're boned on the later waves. The themes are disappointing too, it's just the same 3 themes with slight variations of each stretched across thousands of levels. Two of said themes are just updated versions of themes from Poached Eggs in Classic, by the way. Speaking of Poached Eggs, 2 does away with episodes and just has a Candy Crush ass level layout. The game also has jack shit in terms of interesting content. It took 2 five years just to add Stella, Bubbles, and Hal back, getting back up to 10 birds. Angry Birds Classic had introduced 4 birds in the span of 3 years. As of now, 2 only has 12 birds, a number barely higher than Seasons, tied by Rio, and blown out of the water by Star Wars 2, all of which came out before 2 and ended their run before 2 even updated more birds in. Angry Birds 2 is also a downgrade in terms of story. I know Plot is about as important to Angry Birds as not ending up on the sex offender registry is to a celebrity, but it's definitely downgraded from the Classics to 2. Subtle world building like the island Ham Em High takes place on reappearing in Epic, Birds getting introduced with new episodes, Rio establishing that the Angry Birds are a rare variant of actual birds, or the whole ass Official Guide they wrote about it. Angry Birds 2 not only fails at world building by not even attempting to introduce Silver or Melody, but actively goes against established lore. Leonard, a character who's supposed to be dead in the classic timeline, is a playable character in 2. Yes, I know he appears in other classic games, but those are either non cannon bonus episodes like Bird Island or Pig Days, or a pig dressed as him like in Piggywood Studios. Zeta is also in the game for some reason. She's supposed to be an Eagle, but looks nothing like Mighty Eagle. There's also no story explanation for her presence. I don't mind if you like Angry Birds 2, I'm glad you get enjoyment out of a game I can't, but I just have a personal hatred for it. I feel like people don't give the game enough recognition for being the fundamentally flawed disaster of a game it truly is. I probably wouldn't even care if it was just some spinoff game, but the fact it has the cajones to call itself the sequel to the certified classic that is Angry Birds is an absolute insult.

angry birds friends should have been post 2019 (in january of 2020 they replaced the flash version with the bad unity version)
Friends kinda died in 2016 once they changed the logo and they stripped some features. I get making it post 2019 for the physics and visual changes, but to me it was around the first movie.

I haven't had much experience with it. Would like to play more one day, but it just felt a little bland and a little too "grindy" for my liking. Just not on the same level as the previous games.

Angry Birds 2 is riddled with micro transactions, which are incentivized in every corner of the game. The gameplay is repetitive and unengaging after about 5 minutes and completely ruined the Angry Birds franchise by setting a false precedent. Words cannot describe how terrible the game is when you look away from the visuals, which granted are top tier. Though everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Well I think, though maybe is repetitive, the gameplay is really entertaining since you always have a card from every bird and you have to choose between some of three of them, unlike the first game, where you must use the few birds you have in order, and it's awful when you have a thousand Reds... Oh yeah, Red, I loved how they gave Red a power; well, him and the new birds (and Leonard XD). The gameplay is much more fresh and balanced, not only because you can see where you're aiming, but also because the physics are like a Domino game and it's really satisfying to break the pigs's buildings. Sounds easy, right? Well, let me tell you it gets harder when you go through it since there are lots of buildings to destroy and plenty of ways to do it, so you have to choose how to do it. It is a new and much more strategic gameplay that lets you choose how to play, and the regular levels are not the only mode; there are special levels, boss fights, diary events, competitions, tournaments and more. There are also power-ups that you can bring if a level gets hard for you, plus other elements like flowers, fans and elastic beds that make the levels different. There's also costumes, character levels, even a cute little bird that is your pet and you can feed him to increase the playable birds's power! And the best thing: if you are aiming with a bird, you can cancel your choice by aiming back!!! There are so many ways of playing this game and it's already so entertaining that I can't stop playing once I start. And yeah, there are micro-transictions, but they are not neccesary at all since most of the things brought by the game are free or "watch a video to get this", so there's no really need for you to buy anything important (unlike in certain game about zombies and plants...). In general, one of my favourite mobile games of all time, but I respect your opinion.
Ha ha, didn't expect an essay, lol. I see your points, though the experience for me just isn't the same. I liked the fixed bird roster of the originals as it added difficultly and strategy as to how you'd use those birds to tackle that specific, unique structure. To me, picking what bird you want to use makes things easier, not necessarily more strategic. I do like how there are different game modes, but the main campaign is lacking as a result. Getting three stars on every level gets old... fast. Asking for gems at every opportunity gets old... fast. Reskinned ad-powerups get old... fast. Endless levels that all feel the same with a rotation of the same environments. I was never a fan of the aim-line either, makes things too easy for me. One should learn that bird's arch and how the physics of the game actually affect the trajectory. Hats are also a thing in Seasons, but I see what you mean. They have a purpose in AB2. I do like the shot canceling feature, the challenges, and the upbeat theming. Just not my cup of tea and not the type of game for me. Microtransactions ruin it for me, especially considering it's what Rovio essentially makes their living on now. Due to the financial success of AB2, we no longer see games in the model of the classics, which is a shame. Part of the reason they were removed in the first place.

I would honestly disagree with Angry Birds 2. I think than outside out of some things, i think the core game is pretty good! To the graphics, the new birds, the MUSIC, etc... I think it is just as good as the classics!
It's got good elements, but it's essentially just a bundle of wasted potential because it needs to be Rovio's money generator. It paved the way for more titles like it, which is why I despise it.

i think rovio needs a to hire somebody, their games have gotten worse and worse over time, they should rename ab 2 to something else, and make a true sequel continuing the plot of the first game, because ever since the franchise exploded in popularity, it got pretty clear they only make games for the money.
With angry birds classic the game was good until mid 2016 where It got ruined with gems, coins, mighty league, bloated content, changed world order, and finally that STUPID STAR SYSTEM. Angry birds seasons was good until in late 2014 where you have to download all the episodes for some weird reason and you can't do that anymore with the shut down servers and in late 2015 they added that stupid coin system where they locked (almost) all the episode packs behind a bird coin paywall and there is EVEN MORE bloated content than in angry birds classic.

I don’t hate the Movie, I in fact I’m a huge fan of the film itself. I just don’t like how it’s impacted the brand itself. Same reason I don’t like AB2, albeit slightly different.
