we need to see beyond the threshold. Remember what the stats were at first half? Or the stats after full 90mins. I belive it was like more than 70% possession, 25 shots on goal, 13 on target, 750+ passes with 90+% accuracy.. Now, you got to remember that MU are without more than 10 senior players out injured and the team has been playing without an actual preferred 1st team squad selection since anyone could remember. NOW, imagine what the stats could be if ETH had all his players (or most) at his disposal week in week out. Try asking any managers to handle the current MU squad with all of our injuries and owner issues. I doubt they can do a better job than ETH. It's only fair to back ETH for at least another season but this time with proper top management, a much fitter squad and decent squad depth. Now that we have hit rock bottom, the only way to go is UP. Can't wait for the closing stages to end and new season to come! Exciting future ahead bros!

Game management was very good this last game. The introduction of Amrabat stabilized things and we were stronger in the middle. Shefield just couldn't do anything.
Well said about Bruno, he does so much for the team, him and Mainoo really do need a proper CDM behind them. Then you can get Bruno focusing on his role as our #10 and Mainoo as that 6/8 hybrid that gives him the freedom to push forward when he wants to.

I’m not sure we sign any player before July 1, we need to balance the books, so possible we do sales by June, and have deals in place and agreements in place for our signings and we do it by July 1, I also think if Ipswich get promoted, they might be interested in some of our players like Hannibal, Brandon Williams
My problem is what does Amad have to do to get the shout over Anthony, he’s toughened up since Sunderland and isn’t fazed on the ball and has the lungs for 90 minutes plus ⚽️⚽️

Idk Utd budget for this summer transfer but centre back (2-3) is definitely our #1 priority. It's the season most of our cbs may leave. Utd need squad overhaul & it starts from the back. Even if we spend 70-80% of our budget because Ashworth, Berrada & Wilcox think those are the right centre backs, i'll be totally fine with it Since Wilcox is here, i think Utd should first make a decision on what we should do with our academy cbs : Kambwala, Fish, Bennett .keep, loan or sell? Then in the summer, we bring 1 lcb, 1 rcb(maybe Branthwaite & Todibo).And we'll look at those free agents or cb who got 1 year left on their contract. This summer, Utd should look at signings like when City got Ake & Akanji..those are solid & smart signings

we have a limited budget to do open heart surgery so we have to be creative to develop the first team and the first team squad to close the gap on City's squad - 16-20 automatic first team or near first team level players. This is why I would keep Casemiro, Varane and convert Shaw to being a back up left CD to cover for Martinez. This would be less demanding for him. He can then also be a back-up to any new left back we get in. This is left field and will probably get shouted down but like Pep converted Mascherano into a defender, could we convert Mount to be a ball playing CD and Antony as a wing-back and Amad as a back up 10. Ten hag is influenced by Total Football which requires players to have much greater flexibility.

The issue with Bruno is he's more of a luxury player. He's perfect for a team with good players and you bring him in as cherry on top of the cake. Like a Messi of a team. A well structured team with Bruno as the creator. At Utd he is used as a 6. Hence his style of play becomes detrimental to the team because Utd is not yet well structured. Worked well under Fred/McTominay because his role was solely creation, but now he doesn't have power houses behind him who do the heavy lifting. Will be interesting to see him with Mainoo/Tchouameni(Or a midfielder of this profile we can sign)
While I agree that he has been better than Lindelof and Varane, And I agree that Varane, Lindelof and Evans, I would also be dispensing of Maguire. He lacks the pace to complement Martinez in Central Defense.
can Mount be developed to be that midfielder instead of Erickson? Can Casemiro, if he is kept, be converted to be a back up balll-playing CD as well as a back-up midfielder. I saw the long pass he made to radford against Coventry that could have led to a goal. I know he has had a bad season but he is a leader and we need leaders. His wages are an issue but can be offset against the transfer fee and wages of a new player We still need another first choice midfielder and CD. But we also need squad depth like City. Casemiro could do a job for us for another year as Evans has this year.

He is is what he is put him in a Barca or City Team and you would see how good he is. We play with one pivot (and barley) we need 2 with Bruno and 2 wide players and a striker up the field were to exposed at the back. Why Ten Hag hasn't realised this is beyond belief. Were not City, we just don't have that quality, and we are no were near able to play what Eric wants. Maguire, Lindelof and co just don't have the minerals to play high and lack pace to do so. Sure Bruno has been quiet and his petulance grinds my gears, but genius and madness are a fine line (Cantona). Our tactics are crap and we constantly play players out of form and ask them to do what they can't. No wonder players down tools, a moron with tactics for dummies could see it.
