  • That was A LOT. No matter the country, that IS courageous. They're on TV, and all I could think about was White Rose's PARENTS. Everyone confessing on TV, that takes a lot. Putting yourself out there to be rejected was a lot as well. The anxiety on Jasmine's face was - real. VERY BRAVE!

    • @@valentina-gr4cv Korea is an extremely homophobic country, to the point where if you are openly lgbtq+ you will be rejected in a lot of jobs because the company doesn’t want to “ruin” their reputation, that is slowly changing but it is still really bad.

  • It would have been totally life changing in a reality dating tv show if Jasmine has chosen what her heart wants. But of course, we all understand the limitations. I'm just happy that she was able to show who she really was and to convey her feelings to who she really wants. Wishing them both happiness.

    • I think Jasmine wasn't allowed by the producers to choose Jangmi. Deer talked to Jasmine and told her to choose him so they could win the show and the money. She accepted having no other viable choice and now leveraging the show money well with nice gifts for Jangmi

  • I rly think Rose is soo cool!! I mean this is her first relationship and it happens to be with a woman and she didn’t even worry about what ppl would think about her. Instead of hesitant int turning Jasmine down she decided to give her all her attention! To me you can tell how strong their relationship is bcs after the show made it seem like she wanted deer in the end same as rose they could have left ppl at that, but they decided to flood their Ig post and story with each other which shows that they wanted to let ppl know that wasn’t the case.

I'm so proud of the way Jasmine listened to her heart and confessed to White Rose.   • omg i dont think ive ever cried harder than I am now...there is such complexity in sapphic relationships, women are capable of feeling so much and in so many different ways, and love shared between them is so nuanced and beautiful. it makes my heart so happy to see such incredible bravery to love who you love in a place and time where that's not normal, I cant even express how proud I am of them.

  • This is so beautiful. I love both of their courage expressing their feelings to each other knowing it’s a conservative country like South Korea and on National TV no doubt. You can tell how comfortable WR and Jasmine feel with each other. They can be themselves around each other and they connect on a level that’s more than just friends. Love knows no boundaries. Love is love and love always wins. I really wish these two stay together and not crack under societal pressure because their love is beautiful.   • I haven't watch the show yet but I ended up bawling my eyes watching this. Jasmine's bravery is commendable. When I was younger I confessed to some girls I like and have been avoided like plague. I ended up avoiding people even with the slightest hint of attraction due to fear of rejection. Now, my mindset is I'd rather be alone than make myself vulnerable again. I hope one day I'll be able to open up my heart again and be as brave as Jasmine.

She is amazing for doing it so naturally (I haven’t seen the show though so I may wrong about how this all went down). Especially coming from Korea I bet it must have been a bit hard for her!
