We didn't get the joy of watching the team lift trophies, as we did with LvG, Mourinho and ten Hag. But the best periods with Solskjær was the most fun I've had as a United supporter since Sir Alex left. We finally looked a little bit like the good old United again, and I was looking forward to most games because I knew we were capable of battering teams. Solskjær's United scored five or more goals in 10 games. With Moyes, LvG, Mourinho and ten Hag combined, I think it happened 3 or 4 times.

Things fell apart for Ole when the management opted to sign Ronaldo, which messed up his playing philosophy and made him lose the dressing room. Remember a season before Ronaldo arrived, MUFC was fast catching up with the top teams but a season later, Ronaldo arrived and you could see the bench was also becoming messed up with interference
@chettythemba661415 күн бұрын
Manchester United fans were already calling for ole's sack letter the season before that, when he bottled all the finals he went to, while loosing two games in the last 4, and barely made it to ucl ahead of Leicester. His so called 'playing philosophy' was already in disarray, and the only reason why we're all acting as if he was a Zidane, is because Manchester United failed to discard the dead woods after his sack, and build a proper team. From how he finished his previous season before Ronaldo came, Ronaldo actually bought him some time, cos he'd have been sacked midway 2021

I've got to be honest, if it was Ole we wouldn't be losing so many games, and we would be able to thrash teams. Of course i didn't like that our identity was a counter attacking team, but i would choose such identity right now! I rate Ten Hag; i was one of them who wanted him here, but i have come to comprehend that this job is way bigger than his capability, in addition to that, due to the dreadful and disgraceful conditions the club has been in over a decade now, it doesn't make any manager's job easier. The whole club is in ruins and needs a reformation. I hope Sir Jim is ruthless, because it's going to take ruthlessness to rebuild this club. A lot of people need to go in all areas of this club. We just need a brand new identity and system. But Ole did provide us with many goals even though he just couldn't win a trophy, but he had been to a few finals. For me, he was the best manager we had since the retirement of Sir Alex. I mean, he was without Casey, Garnacho, Mainoo, and so many others, but was still able to destroy teams, and honestly, i think he was just playing to the strengths of the players, because really and truly we didn't have many players who could pass or keep the ball for us to have control over games, and i still think we don't have those quality of players, besides, we don't have many intelligent players either.
@FreeEagle-zh7js13 күн бұрын
lol he was without casey mainoo and Garnacho you say😂😂 greenwood a joke to u ? Pogba a joke to you right you said everything well until you decided to mention players. Ole was a good manager we lose him because we aren’t patient to go through rebuild process. Same thing happening again.

Ole didn't manage to bring any silverware as a manager, but when he was at the wheel, I began to enjoy Man United playing again post-fergie era. When they actually won, the scoreline is usually fantastic. And as you can see from this footage, every player can score a goal. Bruno wasted his prime years at man United. So sad
Plastic shout ole out and now we deserved with this season.
Ole cried on his farewell, it was his biggest heartbreak I believe, because it was a dream come true managing united.
Actually we have only scored 5 goals or more ONCE under other managers (Moyes vs Leverkusen)
@@harukrentz435 Well, there you go ... even worse than I thought 😆😂
So true. I enjoyed his games. We never got beaten now and then
best manager we've had since sir alex
@@christopherkelly6513 I'm kind of hoping Ratcliffe thinks the same way, and may give Ole a second bite of the cherry !
Solskjaer was a gem as both a player and manager. He was just not given enough money nor time to thrive properly. He was one of our few managers since Sir Alex to have brought the club to a better playing standard that was much better to watch.
He also wanted Jude and Haaland but the management didn't approve.... They took away our glorious days
He needed a competent board and recruitment team. Same goes for Ten Hag. These coaches have had absolute mid squads. And they can’t be trusted to recruit players either.
I think he was good but he didn't find good player he needed to win cups
He didn’t win anything wasn’t good enough
@@satanscamaro5206oii...ten hag sells and buys whatever he want look where we are now...don't even compare if you are not stupid...
That is when you still have : Pogba and Bruno as a creator Greenwood as a killer finisher Martial and Rashford as Yorke and Cole If the opponent scores 2 but you score 5, you still win the game.
Pogba turned up Once or twice every season, the rest he was basically useless. When we signed Eriksen he was better overall in his first season than Pogba was for 5 years. But the very few matches Pogba was in the mood he was absolute world class.
That's right, it helps with players who are on fire. If it's like now, I'm sure you'll have difficulties too

I really miss Ole, he was the only one who brought light back into the club!
You right
@@BenjaminNwogoOssywhat pills are you on?!
The reason why it went south for Ole when Ronaldo came is because these man utd players couldnt candle a superstar like him.

Under OGS the playing style was nice to watch. I actually used to get excited for matches when Ole was in charge

@@destructive-_-d7122 he is a briliant individual that is disruptive. Unlike Robson who inspire and lift the rest around him
We gone from manager with 5 goals and more collection to a manager with 4+ conceded collection The difference are wild
But still 0 trophy bruh
I mean, he was without Casey, Garnacho, Mainoo, and so many others, but was still able to destroy teams, and honestly, i think he was just playing to the strengths of the players, because really and truly we didn't have many players who could pass or keep the ball for us to have control over games, and i still think we don't have those quality of players, besides, we don't have many intelligent players either.
lol he was without casey mainoo and Garnacho you say😂😂 greenwood a joke to u ? Pogba a joke to you right you said everything well until you decided to mention players. Ole was a good manager we lose him because we aren’t patient to go through rebuild process. Same thing happening again.
He had pogba, rashford and martial still in form and if I'm not mistaken he brought one or two midfielders in.
Where did it all go wrong, that was probably the best chance of a title that season. I'm sure we beat City every outing to, that should have been 21.
Did you notice David De gea went the right way for the penalty
That martial goal at 1:31 is what Utd DNA is. I don’t remember any such goal under ETH

When was the last tike i saw our players smile like this 😢
Ole was the right man but united were blinded
Ole mempunyai DNA MU seperti SAF,,,berikan dia kesempatan melatih lagi dan menentukan pemain yang dibutuhkan.
It's very strange to look back at this... We've never played this well under EtH. Even in that slight purple patch between January and April 2023, we ground out wins. We haven't played free flowing football like this in over two years. I honestly don't know what to think anymore...
That period between December 2022-March 2023 while amazing was more about how to get wins and not adding anything else Ole’s football once we got the win we’ll at least try to add a few more goals in just to entertain a little bit
I have always said it. Ole should have been given the chance to stay long in the club.
I had the same thought.
midfield of pogba, bruno and mainoo would be dream..and attcking of garnacho, greenwood and rasmus❤
Pogba was simply too unrelieable to make a solid team foundtion. World class at best, but too inconsistent. If he had the mind and workrate of Bruno he would be the best midfielder in the world
It hurts me that they don't wanna bring Greenwood back, I've been waiting for three years to see him back in Old Trafford.
I hope Solskjær back. I love his football.
I personally want Greenwood in da Yanited RN.. Forgive his past... Who agree.?
Absolutely not, a phenomenal footballer who has absolutely no place at our football club. There's great players everywhere, there's no reason at all to turn to a lad who beats his girlfriend. He's a coward who can rot at whatever team is desperate enough to play him, but we're Manchester United, we're not that desperate.

so underrated manager, fantastic video btw!
Ole didn't manage to bring any silverware as a manager, but when he was at the wheel, I began to enjoy Man United playing again post-fergie era. When they actually won, the scoreline is usually fantastic. And as you can see from this footage, every player can score a goal. Something that was the staple of sir Alex Ferguson's football philosophy. I reckon that with the same 23/24 team, Ole will deliver better results than EtH.
Solkjaer, should be given more time to manage Man Utd!He was a team player when he's playing and being managed by Ferguson! What a "BAD DECISION" by the owners, investors to replace him! You're all just "FOR THE MONEY" not the "Tradition of Man Utd" and of course the " beautiful game"."Brutal honesty really hurts" people and their pockets!

On the one hand. Happy Ole is getting his respect now in hindisght On the other hand. A lot of the fans doing that hindsight forgiveness now were screaming Ole Out from the moment he got the full time job including fan channels like the United Stand..and I wont forgive those fans for trashing a club legend like that and not backing the manager, instead backing players who completely threw him under the bus.
Probably the best fit as manager since Fergie left and now we're stuck with Ten Hag. Unbelievable
im not United fans, but Ole was very very good than Ten Hag
Funny how we appreciate him now, these fans were overly critical during his tenure with the club as a manager. The fans are part of the problem at United.
Signing Ronaldo set the club 5 years in rewind - should've never happened. Ole's team for 2 full seasons 2019-21 were not too far behind City and Liverpool.
I keep saying it sacking Ole was the biggest mistake

The arrival of Ronaldo... Not blaming Ronaldo but his presence ruined the mentality lemme explain... Rashford greenwood lose their place due to the constant presence of Ronaldo in the starting 11... And their mentality changed. Became greedy against Cr7 and the thing turns upside down in the team.
If that were the case then they didn’t have a mentality after all
Im nit sure what u call it mentality or whatever who cares but i 10000% agree with you cause i said same thing when rashy had ball at his feet he would rather pass back than pass to ronaldo and thats what messed up united ronaldos ego presence whatever it is ronaldo is and was at fault not only rashy brunos goals dried up too cause it was all eyes on ronaldo pass him the ball let him shine its always been and will be about ronaldo any time he scores everyone run to me celebrate with me when others score u dont see him running to celebrate he walks towards center clapping selfish manequin

The only fairly tale story I would have wanted was Ole and Jose, succeeding at UTD.
We never got the joy of winning trophies like we had with mourinho, lvg and ten Hag,but ole brought us to a style of play that was to a very good standard. He had his flaws and sure he isn’t a coach with a big tactical playbook like Pep or Klopp but his first two full years he made the most out of with what he’s got and the basic attacking football he had helped many of the players thrive. This current team will not win the league or trophies but do think the approach Ole had would have get the most out of this team to at least be in the top 4. Think players like Højlund,Garnacho and Mainoo would thrived far more under Ole than they are now under ETH
