    • Who could survive a full scale nuclear war? All transportation would stop. Electricity won't exist for 1 to 10 years, so no gas or water. Most everything else, unless you grow it and can eat it raw; wouldn't exist either. You can have a luxury bunker but there won't be anything to do and visitors probably wouldn't be welcomed. Great, it's like a tomb for the living; then after a month or two, you might kill or be killed by whomever you are living with. Plan to live by yourself. So, you survive but may wish you had perished. Steven Pettinga, Indianapolis.

How many doctors do you think will abandon their Hippocratic oath to save as many injured in a disaster as possibly by running off to a fall out shelter? And in any case, they will need more than just medical professionals, they would need scientists, engineers, mechanics, machinists, cooks, janitors, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, gardners, farmers, weapons experts, people that can fix things when they break, people that can make things, people that can hold the peace and ration out goods, people to educate the children. Frankly, 75 people (rich, unaccustomed to doing anything for themselves, individuals) is not enough to sustain life 200 feet under ground. The only help in the day of wrath is forgiveness through faith in the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. He died for you, to pay the penalty of your sin. FLEE from the wrath to come! The Lord Jesus said: "the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." (John 6:37).
