Orangutan and gorilla feeder - Puzzle feeders for great apes

Last month we had the pleasure of running a team build for a large group from Red Bull at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve. During the build, the group created nine puzzle feeders for the great apes at the park, including the two orangutan brothers.
Each feeder is slightly different as each of the nine groups had the freedom to create the maze on each level of the device. In this maze, the apes have to work the nuts using tools made from sticks. The nuts drop down through each level until the food can be extracted through a hole in the box. The box is polycarbonate on each side for easy viewing, with the keeper's side being able to slide in and out for easy cleaning and putting food in.
