  • Been watching the pro game since the mid 1960s, and Jokic doesn't "play basketball" as much as the game flows through HIM. His teammates are TOTALLY bought-in to putting individual egos aside, and accepting their roles in Nikola's universe. For this, Jokic rewards them handsomely, and so does the Nuggets organization, which has shown a degree of loyalty to the players that I'd thought not possible from a professional sports team. There's ZERO drama. It's their championship recipe. Nikola will have won at least 4 championships by the time he retires...

Jamal Murray is of course really good but his 2 man game with Jokic is second to none right now. That being said, & it pains me to say this, Lebron is still a good player at 39 & Anthony Davis has had one of his best seasons in years & looked really damn good too, especially on defense. • Jokic is actually top 75 best player of all time. People just hate his game. He is so deserving of everything he earned.

  • The ultimate problem with Nick and his Laker takes is there is NO objectivity. He will play mental gymnastics to make his argument and ignore the obvious signs that this Laker team has been mediocre all damn year. Anything Lebron related comes with an asterisk because of his well known allegiance to him. It's comical at this point lol

    • I love when he said “what team will want to face the Lakers in the first series of the playoffs?” Well that team is the Denver Nuggets, Nick. The way the media fawns over the Lakers like they were an actual contender is laughable. I’ve never heard of an eighth seed getting that much hype. Akd since LeBronze and AD suck up the majority of the cap space and expect everybody else to take a massive paycut for the privilege of being throw under the bus when they lose. They should make a tv show out of who will be the next Laker scapegoat.
