I just got one of these, it’s really like a dream come true lol. They handle undulating tracks very well, and the ability to steer them and control their speed opens up opportunity for endurance competitions and time attacks that require a lot of skill! The battery life also lasts a very long time compared to what I’m used to for this sort of thing. Heck yes! You did it right! That's exactly the kind of frankentracks that are awesome with these RC cars. The sky is the limit to what you can do without gravity drops and boosters and such. I love the jump onto the Crash Racers track pieces. Even requires a little skill to get it back on the Hot Wheels track on the inside lane. Great job! You set a high bar.
These 1/64 RC Hot Wheels are the best thing HotWheels ever made!

People used to laugh at me when I said rc hotwheels would be the best thing and it would happen one day. I hope hotwheels doesn't stop at this. They need to make more detailed and good looking cars with a more durable RC tech. Most of the complains i see says that it lasts about a day or a week.
Mattel should revive their old Sizzlers Fat Track to pair with their RC line. Sizzlers Fat Tracks were wider than the Crash Racers track (you could race up to four Hot Wheels Sizzlers on them). I've also seen folks modding actual Hot Wheels diecast bodies for bluetooth RC with app control. They function more like the 1:76 scale Turbo Racing RC cars (with full steering). Fat Track could be reintroduced with some new half and quarter straight lengths and flat 45° curves so you could assemble a tabletop road course for the Hot Wheels RC (or Turbo Racers RC or modded diecast bluetooth RC).

Yep! One of the things I wanted to test, to see if they would go fast enough. We may have to try bigger loops one day and going up hill to push them to the limits.

You probably will. They've been carrying them since November. The Roger Dodger and Nissan are also on Amazon for $20. However the Cybertruck is still only available through 3rd party sellers and the price is still inflated. It didn't come out until March, so maybe Target has it exclusive for a little while.

So I always wanted to get into rc cars and slotcars as well. This is like mixing the 2 in a frank eistein style. I love that you can unscrew the body and possibly swap to an other with better detailed. How ever I'm planning to run this on a diorama track that is basically painted wood. I don't know yet how will it work but we will see.
How did it go? Even am a bit concerned about the out body. It isn't that detailed and looks very cheap. Crazy part is i need to pay about 55$ for one

You mentioned that you used the "Hot Wheels Track Builder Total Turbo Takeover Track Set" for parts of the track layout featured in the video. Did you take the "kickers" out of the loops? I'm curious if that can be done, as I recently ordered that set and would love the option to have normal loops.
Hi! They have been selling basic loops for a $1 at Dollar Tree, if those are where you live. Or you can use the kicker loops without resetting the kicker, the actual part of the kicker the car hits, is on a hinge. You may need to toss and extra rubber band on it so it doesn't flop down in the way if you run your cars through backwards.

How well can you drift them
Quick question, the joycons on the left for my controller, turns the car left and right, and the right side of my controller makes the car go forwards and backwards, so I have to hold the controller sideways, is that how they’re supposed to be?
Wow! If that’s true, I would return it. But if that’s not possible I’ve always had luck syncing different cars to controllers from other ones in this line. (1:64 Hot Wheels RC) so if you have an extra controller at home it should work with it.

Where'd you get those nice big round curve sections? Can't find em online. The short fast curves don't do well with high speeds.

Hey! I added two Amazon links to our video description for two great sets to pull pieces from, the Figure 8 Raceway and the Total Turbo Takeover. They give you the different curve pieces I have been using. Also, if they have Dollar Trees where you live, they have been carrying the 2 foot strait track pieces and basic loops for only $1!!!

Could you rip the internals out of it and put it on any hot wheel?
It has a hollow plastic body that you can unscrew. So but at least on the Roger Dodger, the plastic body also held on the front axle. So you couldn't even drive it around without the body on.
Guess the motors are not efficient enough to pull a heavy metallic body
My controller flashed after It was done and sometimes it will start going out of control and I have to grab it and it stops

Need to make these in a jeep or truck form. Adventure force has nano racers jeep gladiator and Ford bronco. All the rest of the companies just make cars.
I actually grabbed a pair of those Adventure Force ones and have been thinking about making a video. Maybe I'll do a comparison one day.

Did you have an issue with the car keeping on losing sync? It looks like if you leave the car unattended for 5 minutes, it loses sync and you have to resync it again. Annoying.

I would say, check your country's Amazon site or wherever they sell Hot Wheels. And there's always eBay, if it comes down to it. In the US they were at Target first and then appeared on Amazon, so now they are on all of the reseller sites, too.

can it turn while accelerating?
I would say yes. It turns at any speed. At a stop the turning is just donuts, I believe the turning radius gets bigger the faster you're going. So it's kind of easier to steer while going faster. I don't have a large space w/ a hard floor to really show it. Would be fun to try out on a basketball court or large social hall type floor.
can it go through boosters
I actually didn't test that. I'm sure the car would fit, but because it's an RC and the rear tires are gripping and turning at a specific speed based on the motor in the car, I'm not sure I would want to.

It will turn itself off after not being used for a few minutes. Or you can remove the batteries.

They seem like plastic with a rubber surface that touches the ground for grip. That's only the drive wheels. The other wheels are plastic.
