    • Thank you very much for your comment. I think you can make good art without using color. Art in good shape is well received by everyone. Of course, form is the most important element in any art. I'd like to recommend lots of drawing!

  • Hi, I really really love your works! especially the Sea Penguin Train Station, the first one The details on the sea amazes me yet also frustrates me... How did you managed to paint such detail on the beach? The sea floor, fishes, turtles, the waves, the beautiful greenish blue water.. do you mind to show us how to create such masterpiece?

    • I don't know if I can make a video because I can't draw the background well these days. Speaking of sea paintings, I used a lot of photographic materials there. Of course, it is difficult to use it well without feeling different.

  • I love your beautiful artwork! I have a question. Why do you start in greyscale and paint over?

    @kueenykind6615@kueenykind66153 жыл бұрын
    • There are three reasons. The first is to objectively and quickly grasp the overall silhouette, and the second is to easily limit the coloring area. The third reason is that it naturally mixes with gray while coloring.

  • Great design! I am having trouble cleaning up line art layers it always look like another sketch layer what is your exercises for better line value and clarity? I sketch a lot on paper but still having trouble on drawing digital. Should I go with ink pens or so for better line control?

    @devilichus@devilichus4 күн бұрын
    • There is no other way to practice drawing lines than to draw them a lot. You have to draw a lot, a lot more. I've been using pen tablets for more than 20 years, but in fact, I've rarely drawn using a pencil or ink. It's close to zero. (Of course, I used pencil and ink before writing pen tablets.) It's my personal opinion, but it's true that using a good pencil can help you use pen tablets. But I can't say for sure that it's essential.

    • @@tahraart When did you started to get efficient in creating characters like in a day or some hours time span? Like in which year of your art journey specifically? I am having trouble finishing my characters most of the time. As I study anatomy I got way faster but this time my struggle is clean line art and line value. I always wanted to make clean line art and flat colour style of designs. But line art is way harder than even the fully polished paintings sometimes. By the way I am intermediate and returned to my fundamentals heavily this year.

    @digital_artistlvl1977@digital_artistlvl19774 жыл бұрын
    • Definitely you can, sometimes you don't need to touch light areas with darks, or just add more light if you feel that its already too dark. Or even make dark areas darker so the one's that you didn't touch feel lighter.

      @kokchewy4502@kokchewy45024 жыл бұрын
    • I used to paint my paintings too dark or too dull, but I continued to paint them with the thought of improving them little by little, even if they didn't get better right now. Light and darkness are always relative, not as they seem. For example, the darkness of the laugh lines is clearly visible, but it's similar to the need to be weak depending on the overall amount of light in your picture. And don't just solve it in coloring, you have to make a lot of color correction. Procreate also has good calibration features.

  • 채색하실 때 회색을 깔아두시고 그 위에 브러시 속성을 다르게 해서 색을 입히시는건가요??

    @huy1403@huy14034 жыл бұрын
    • 회색이랑 컬러 둘 다 노멀 속성 브러쉬구요, 회색을 먼저 칠하는 이유는 채색 들어가기 전 일단 전체 실루엣 파악을 위해서, 그리고 밝고 어두운 톤에 대한 대략적인 구분, 그리고 약간의 덩어리등을 미리 준비(?)를 해두고 가기 위해서 입니다. 그리고 밑의 회색과 조금씩 색이 섞이는 느낌을 개인적으로 좋아하기도 하구요. 반드시 해야하는 절차는 아니구요, 그냥 개인적인 취향정도로 보시면 될 듯 합니다:)

  • Curious of how he color the grayscale..?

    @daffaarramy4981@daffaarramy49813 жыл бұрын
    • he paints over the grey. One layer with the lineart, one to the grey. and each color on separated layers so he ca adjust it when he wants to. =D I realized he likes to keep the grey specially for the brightest part of the skin. So usually the color becomes more saturated as it becomes darker.
