Adorable Baby Boy Walks His Cat For The First Time! (Cutest Ever!!)

Kodi is learning to walk on a lead with his new harness. He's spent very little time outside being an indoor cat so he is a little hesitant and cautious of noises and smells. Amelia did the same with Milo and soon he was loving outside and he spends long summer evenings chasing flies and watching the birds. Kodi will soon be the same but as they are indoor cats we dock them on their harness on an elasticated lead so they can roam freely on a maybe 30ft lead. Nathan loves his kittens and tries to meow at them all the time, Kodi is usually the one following him!
Codi: Cats DON'T "heel," kid. Nathan is becoming quite the handsome young man.
Kodi is such a cool cat..his tail is something splendid and don’t forget Nathan the boot guy.

I love that Mum is teaching Nathan to handle Kodi gently and with respect. Some parents allow their children to "manhandle" their pets thinking it's cute and funny and that the animal is perfectly fine with it. When you teach them kindness to animals at a young age, they're kind to them as adults.

Not personally comfortable with a toddler having a cat on a lead when the cat is learning. It requires a gentle touch, something a toddler doesn't have or understand. Should only let him have Milo on a lead as Milo understands it and won't need to endure uncomfortable pulls on the lead. Kodi is just confused and enduring needless physical duress (albeit mild). Only an adult should have a cat on a lead when the cat is still learning the concept of it, just to spare the cat avoidable discomfort.
Yes, it is really like you let the kitty do the walking and lead the exploring and go along with them on lead. Agree, I thought too young for that. Even Nathan gave up.
Yes too young to walk any animal. Not even a year and a half yet.
Let the beautiful cat off the lead and pay total attention to your very small gorgeous child. He is on slabs with a piece of equipment made up of spokes next to him. Things happen in an instant. Animals are more easily replaced, humans not. Hope your animals keep the dosh rolling in.

How bizarre! Taking a cat on a leash. I've absolutely never thought of doing this with a cat. All the wonderful cats I've had would never do such a thing.

I absolutely love watching your two children grow up with animals. Of course my favorite was Mr. Phil. God rested his little soul. He looks like a Phil . But I’ve watched you guys since you were pregnant with your daughter and how your animals reacted to your pregnancies of course Milo the cat has become the guardian of both over the years. I hope you do get another mute and call him Phil your daughter I saw where you had his little box of ashes in her bedroom and you Had a picture done almost in a cartoon setting of your daughter and Phil. Please consider getting another malamute and surprising your kids with a puppy and call him Phil. That would be a tribute to the original Phil.
