"The Evans Gambit is on the board - the strongest ever opening invented by man" - Agadmator, 2022 I will never ever get tired of this 😂😍
I always love when b4 is played and he says its the strongest move ever haha
@Millad Karimi same here ahaha I always play the Evans Gambit when I have the chance, just like Antonio! It really is an awesome opening ❤️
@@bekamargiani2405 ikrkzhead.info/sun/lJWjadOveaetl4k/bejne.html
Evans gambit is my only favourite opening I can't resist playing it I even defeated 2000 player with it
Is it just his opinion or is there data that it's the strongest? Maybe a dumb question but I'm not super versed in high level chess, I just like playing.
Two brilliant games not influenced by our "silicon overlords". Medo is now 105 dog years old, and speaks English... Awesome dog !
Nasty discovery
12:17 made my day "Medo is ancient"
You don't know how much I missed these 19 century games!
That EVERGREEN match between Magnus and Max GOT ME. I watched it as soon as it was uploaded and my mind was BLOWN.
Lol
Two Evans Gambits. Two Queen Sacrifices. And Medo's birthday. Best Tuesday in a while.
Happy Birthday Medo! Hilarious you call Anderssen, "the final boss of the Morphy saga" LOL!
"Attacking Generals play the Evans Gambit on Medo's birthday." - Sun Tzu Nothing like an Adolf Anderssen game. Thanks for showing the interesting "improvement" too. Only the Evans Gambit could win a game faster when the opponent finds a better move than used in a previous loss.
The absolute domination of Anderssen in these 2 games actually shows how ahead of the time morphy was.
@@jire9831 well,in 1863 Morphy went to paris during the civil war. At the insistence of his friend De Riviere,he played some 15 games with him, winning about a dozen and losing 3. At that time,De Riviere was the strongest player in France and Morphy crushed him, despite being out of chess for almost four years. Now cut to 1883,De Riviere, way past his prime, took on tchigorin, who was a brilliant player, and very narrowly lost 4-5. In the same Hastings,1883, tchigorin was the only player to defeat Pillsbury, and quite easily too, the strongest player in that tournament. Now you can work out morphy's level.
My boyfriend sent me this video - I'm not really into chess but he really is and he loves your videos. BUT I DO LOVE DOGS HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEDOOOOOOOOOO!!! And thanks Agadmator for the joy you bring to my boyfriend😋
Just from this comment I feel like you guys have a great relationship
ugh, now im jealous 😣 (😆)
@@05anonymous50 that’s a terrible blunder. Chess players don’t have relationships.
@@nevillegodmez2413 Not a blunder, but rather a gambit. A sacrifice in exchange for rapid development and incredible compensation
You better hope your boyfriend doesn’t learn anything from this game and try a Queen sacrifice irl ;)
12:30 Medo Wakes Up! might well be the greatest timestamp on KZhead Happy birthday Medo! 🎉
Happy birthday Medo!
Theme of two games: Suhle making the captures to open lines against his own king
He hadn't learnt his lesson against Adolf, clearly
@@jeremiahkermin4837 "Learnt?" Have you not learned that learnt is not a word?
@@johnsmith1474 It's a perfectly correct spelling of the word, outside the US and Canada. I have learnt that both spellings work Mr Smith, maybe you've just learned things differently wherever you're from.
Dammit, Smith! Look at the thumbnail before you go shooting your mouth off!
@@johnsmith1474 think before you speak.
I miss the feeling of waiting for a new episode of the Morphy saga... Perhaps I'm in the minority, but it's usually more interesting for me to learn about these old games than seeing the same modern players play each other time and time again.
Chessmasterkzhead.info/sun/lJWjadOveaetl4k/bejne.html
Absolutely agreeing!!! Another saga, maybe even an Adolf Andersson Saga would be awesome!
There is a LOT of chess played between the top modern players. It is not surprising that Anton finds interesting games to cover that have just been played. I think he does a great job of mixing the old and new. It is always worth re-watching the old "sagas" for a taste of the past.
Me aswell
I enjoy the old games as well, as the Morphy Saga actually made me quite the fan of Thomas Wilson Barnes.
Happy birthday medo! I think it is great to celebrate medos birthday with not just 2 awesome evans gambit games but also 2 magnificent queen sacrifices by Anderssen! Thank you for the awesome content you bring us, you really improved my day :)
W’s all around
Whenever i hear something like " the dog is old", the first thing that comes to me is fear and than tears 🥺 Dogs are angels, they should live forever
I really love queen sacrifices. That's the beauty of chess.
Since ancient times people have been trying not to be a simp, and clearly sacrificing the queen is the way to go, this is the simplesst game ever-yet so complex
@@tatakaetatakae3358 😂
@@tatakaetatakae3358 haahahahhaahah, i am dying over here HAHHAAHHAAHA
What an absolute carnage the second game was. I can almost imagine Suhle saying 'yeah bro you saw mate in 5 earlier today but lets see what you got now' and Andersseen proceeds to hang three pieces at the same time because whichever is captured, the other two deliver mate. A pure savage
Channel followers waiting for 1:52 moment for a very long time and it instantly puts a smile on our faces as we can feel how proud Agadmator is at the opening.
Okkzhead.info/sun/lJWjadOveaetl4k/bejne.html
The ghosts of Anderssen and Suhle play this game every year, and Anderssen still hasn't lost. To give him credit, Suhle has managed to make it to 39 moves with various improvements.
9:07 - the evergreen game of Max Deutsch and Magnus must definitely be checked out . Also , happy birthday medo . Edit :- the G7 square seems to be a very lucky square for queen sacrifices . Ivanchuk Qg7 against Shirov comes to mind .
can u put a link of that game?
okay nevermind I just realized it was a prank or something by agadmator
Let me comment here. I want to see this video too

@@ramachandra776 not this one its called “magnus carlsen retires from chess”
i feel so entertained at the end of each of your videos, don't quite know why but thanks for that anyways 🙌
Another game that is going to shock my imaginary friends in bars and library... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEDO!
I found the mate in the first video! I feel so proud, started of as beginner 1 year ago at 800 elo and now im at 1600 and growing! Agad you helped me so much to grow and I watch your videos everyday for lunch😄 Thank you so much! Hvala brate pozdrav iz Srbije!
How to get to 1600?any suggestion? I am stuck between 1350-1400
@@redwanurrahaman8644 ive been pretty much watching opening tutorials, for both white and black so you know whats the best for you and solving puzzles as well. also watching agadmator every single day
Romantic chess was the best; it's dynamic, attacking, aesthetic and exciting. It's a shame many adopted steinitz is positional chess principles.
steinitz led to alekhine, to tal, to fischer, to anand, to carlsen and alireza today. we've been spoiled over the centuries by dynamic and creative chess imo : )
Chessmasterkzhead.info/sun/lJWjadOveaetl4k/bejne.html
romantic chess was full of blunders LMAO.....Positional chess is an improvement..... You dont think Kasparov had so many exciting games, he aslo played positionally as well.
@@AkramSaheb it's not much fun
The (STEINITZ) of this world will never understand our romantic love for beautiful chess
This is amazing! Utter brilliance
Agad, please make a conclusive video of Morphy saga as you promised. The saga feels tantalizing without a discussion about later part of Morphy's life.
Your videos make my day better Thank you
Happy Birthday Medo!!! We love you!!!
Antonio, your videos brighten me up after having a shit day (which are most of them). Thank you very much for that.
2 games in 1 !!! Thanks bud 👍 ♟️🤑 & happy birthday 🎂 🥳
Nice, game with old masters. The best chess.
Chessmasterkzhead.info/sun/lJWjadOveaetl4k/bejne.html
What a perfect day for both of you! Medo had his birthday and you had not one but two Evan's Gambits to showcase.
I love the classics. They feel more relatable.
Just beautiful!
Sretan rođendan Medo!! Pozdrav iz Rijeke❤
So awesome! Love it. Happy bday meadow!!
Many happy returns Meadow/Medo

I would love to see a video dedicated to Medo. As you say he's quite old for a dog so please consider making a video while the best boi is still around. #suggestion
Happy Birthday Medo!!!!
good god, imagine what poor Mr. Suhle was feeling like after losing to 2 different queen sacrifices lol

Happy Birthday, MEDO!! From my Great Pyrenees REX MAGNUS (born in 2013 and named after you-know-who)
Loved both variations with Evan's gambit with all your explanations, Agad. Would it be possible to add links to the games that are reviewed if that is possible? I would be interested in looking at a line or two inspired from your review.
Looking forward to next saga
Happy birthday medo!! On the ides of March, too.

Fantastic and awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍
Happy Birthday, Medo! Be safe, Old Pup.
Happy Birthday Meedo!
"That's right. Anderssen always finds a way to sacrifice his queen."
I have to thank you my good man! My favourite players are Morphy, Anderssen, Fischer, La Bourdonnais and Magnus and you are really doing justice to most of these players. I love games like this, thank you
I am sure after Suhle lost the 1st game, he went home and used an engine to analyze it finding the strongest improvement. Alas, it still was not enough!
He must have used a Babbage engine, which can analyze positions down to a depth of, um, 1.
happy birthday Medo!
Happy birthday medo ❤
The final boss LMAO. Dude you are great lol.
Wishing Medo a very happy birthday. 🥰🎊🎉🎈
Berthold Sule: "MR. ANDERSSEN! welcome back... we missed you"😎 Agad: "do you like what i´ve done with channel?" Berthold Sule: "It ends to night" Adolf Anderssen: "I know it does, i´ve played it. That´s why my queen will just enjoy the show cause we already know that i´m the one that beats you"
Anderson is like alpha zero ,using his bishop properly and lives his bishop
Happy Birthday Medo.

Happy birthday boy!
I have been playing in the lichess Weekly super blitz but then Agadmator uploads a video so I have to first pause
Anderssen un genio. 👏👏
HBD MEDO
Sretan rođendan Medo :D
I am so silly that I just thought that too Queen sacrifices in a same game meant that there will be a first Queen sacrifice and then the player will promote his pawn to a queen and sacrifice it again. And I don't think there is only me who thought that.
Me too
Or a queen sacrifice that countered with another queen sacrifice
Here we go
Is there ANYONE out there ONLY following the morphy saga? Lets be real, we're all here everyday watching your videos Agadmator :D
