Taika is talking about it. Chris is talking about it. He's one of the last living original Avengers. So odds are we're getting a fifth Thor movie. So when that day comes, what can we look forward to? I have some ideas.

If there was one thing from these pitches that makes it onto the screen, I hope it’s the line “Of course she’s my daughter. she’s adopted.” It’s a great callback and a great message.
i thought the same things, as soon as he said it i could imagine the audience giving a big laugh
It's perfect.
The line also connects him to his adopted brother Loki.
@@ImitationJesus Yeah. That's what I meant when I said it's a great call back. But the thing is, all of the times it is brought up that Loki is adopted, it is used as a way to create distance. Like in Avengers, Thor says, "He's my brother!" and then Hill says something about how many people he's killed and then Thor says, "He's adopted." It's a great joke, but he's basically saying "He's not my real brother." This scene from Nando is an inversion of that and that's why I love it so much. It's the kind of scene you could build a whole movie around, working backwards just to get there.
I would slightly alter the line and go with, "She may be adopted, but she IS my daughter."
I want Thor to transition to more of a Odin role in the MCU.
King Thor ish
I agree but they keep making it seem like that isn’t Thor. I want a much more serious Thor 5 , like Viking type stuff
Agreed. Please read the comment i just posted about that. What could have been...
I thought they'd so this post endgame but....
Thor: All-Father
Nando never fails to amaze me with his pitches
Imagine pitching Waititi as the director for Thor 5 and using his non-capesh1t works as your great argument. I have no care in the world if he makes non-superhero movies that some people like. I barely could finish watching that vampire movie and the other one with a kid and Alant Grant. None of those movies have any commonality with Thor's character.
That last pitch breaks my heart because I know it'll never happen and I love it so much. That pitch would make such a banger recoil to Love and Thunder, it could save the status of Thor.
I mean, given that Hela already fills the role of Odin's secret long-lost daughter Angela has in the comics, I really doubt they'll basically do it again
Whi h is such a shame because I'd way rather have Angela and Sera over Hela
They could flip it and make Angela Thor's niece
@@medafan53or daughter…..
You know it never ceases to amaze me how much the MCU thoroughly fumbled Thor’s mythos and Norse Mytholgoy as a whole. I know marvel comic Thor makes some major alterations to Norse Mythology from the Prose and Poetic Eddas but the omission of characters like Baldur and Tyr, Hela being Odin’s daughter, no Enchantress, boring Malekeith, no Ulik, and no World Serpent just makes everything feel so small.
How about it being revealed Love is Angela? Either trapped in a dimension that accelerates time or a variant
I love the Stardust “regional herald” pitch. The idea of Galactus having middle management corporate structure around his world-eating would be pretty amazing.
All right... you sold me on that last one HARD when you brought back to the "adopted" line 😂 I love it. I'm in.
Man, Kev needs follow these pitches better than the last few you sent. That one-liner/call-back would make everyone weepy
Yah I wanted the BRB pitch but that line gets me
I hope they can incorporate the Enchantress at some point, she’s one of my fave Marvel villains and she’s just so cool imo
I suspect that if Sylvia ever makes her way into the MCU shell be it’s version of the Enchantress
A version of her (or her sister, maybe) appeared on Agents of SHIELD, but they dropped that from canon quickly.
It's so weird that she's not been in any of these movies honestly.
I doubt it because they already adapted the elements of Enchantress into Hela.
Isn't Sylvie basically the MCU version of Enchantress? Same name, similar powers
I like these pitches. The one thing that I’m taking away though, it’s going to be really hard to keep any Thor 5 from getting very cluttered very quickly.
literally
I got a little teary eyed at the end there. Amazing pitch
So did I!
Meee tooo! I want this pitch to make it to the big screen more than ever!
Love bringing back, "shes adopted.' I think its all the stronger if Loki comes back somehow. No heroic sacrifice, please, hes died enough... but actually mending the brothers relationship and healing the parental trauma via Thor being a more loving adopted father than Odin was seems like a great place to go.
Oh... oh no, this did not age well.
Really liked the pitches, now it got me thinking how you would pitch an Eternals Sequel
23:14 it was actually revealed in a recent event that due to poor work performances, stardust has been demoted to the role assistant (to) the regional herald.
Two things to add to this pitch. We need Matt Damon as an actor Korg (since no more Loki), Luke Hemsworth as actor Thor, Ben Affleck as actor Gorr, and Kristen Bell as actress Jane reenacting Love and Thunder. Need an end credit scene of a “team” I call the Dad-vengers. Thor, Scott, Clint, Bruce, and Happy (as Morgan’s father figure). All of them trying to help Thor learn to be a better dad
Steve Carell should play the actor for Gorr.
Both golden ideas but that last one is perfection
@@NerdRahtio Dad-vengers Assemble
*Lowkey forgot the MCU existed* without a constant flurry of movies and shows coming out of the pipeline
What a contradicting comment
Don't say this out loud! They will start putting out 10 movies and 15 shows a year!!
Crazy how I used to watch every show and spin off but the second I started skipping out on those random b movies and cheap Power Rangers shows, I immediately stopped caring
@@MILOPETIT why do I relate to this so much? 😂 Same tho! I haven't watched any of the recent films and I can't think of anything upcoming that I'm excited for...
@NadeemShekh-uy9zn - it’s literally just like that tho.. for 4 years it’s been nonstop - the moment they eased up I forgot they existed 🤷🏾♂️
Hey Nando, do you have any ideas for a Justice League Dark Pitch, given the apparent reset of the DCEU and Gunn’s willingness to do more out there projects?
Ooooh maybe
There’s a bunch of great roster and story options for a film about them, even just adapting some of the animated stuff
I’d love to see this pitch
I would love a Justice League Dark movie, the 2018 series was really fun
I hate they didn't make Thor the king of the asgardians. The point of his journey was learning how to become a mature leader of his people from his trials and tribulations.
Yup
His journey isn't done yet, even at the end of Ragnarok he wasn't ready. He was forced into the role, sure, but he wasn't ready. But now we get him being a father, a much more important leadership role that will prepare him to be king. Once he proves to himself he's better than Odin, he'll be ready to be king of Asgard
Maybe a journey where the end destination isn't exactly what your parents set out for you and what actually suits you is a better story?
Someday I hope to see your writing on the big screen. You deserve it.
If you secretly write all the shows does that mean you’re technically a scab? The horror!!
Only if he writes them during the strike, and he clearly said that Feige can't watch until after.
@@thegreatandterrible4508working during the strike is still working, even if you use it later.
2:04 Thank you for this fun video! Small note: Thor didn't have a "silly English-faking accent thing" since Ragnorok per-say, they just allowed the actor to fully embrace his Australian accent, where he's from. As an Aussie I can confirm he was not trying to put on an accent whatsoever. It's 100% just being Australian...
Really enjoy a lot of these pitches. Personally, I like the Siege-based one best (I liked that story, though partly because of Kid Loki's role), but I'd be happy to see any of them, particularly the arrival of Beta Ray Bill. The last one is also rather nice, though I'm just not as into Chaos War in general, while I fully agree that War of the Realms just doesn't work here - it's something that I'd've done over a miniseries or two movies at least, and definitely requires the setup that is really lacking here. Still, always happy to hear these pitches because they're fantastic.
Your addition of one of the Eternals is really missing the golden opportunity to have Kumail be in a funnier role
I would love to see a Thor film with Amora as the villain and Beta Ray Bill being a main character introduced. I love Bill, he’s a great character and Enchantress absolutely deserves some recognition on the big screen. Would make for a fun film
That last pitch is incredible! Delightful just to hear that story, blending the comic storyline and the themes started in Love and Thunder, really keeping all these elements feeling cohesive!
Heres what I'd do (prior to watching your pitches): The movie shows in flashbacks how Odin/Thor and Zeus/Hercules are very similar but ultimately moved into different directions (remember Helas backstory?) And the core of the movie is Thor learning how to be a better father than his own dad and Zeus and ultimately converting Hercules to his side
Pitch 4 and 5 are unbelievable! I love the idea of working a mockumentuary element and the Godsquad.
If they do Thor 5 my villain I would love to see is Ares, I think he’s long overdue for an appearance in the Mcu
@@myra-yves I think you’re talking about Hercules but I’ll check again to make sure
Idea for the "cameraman," how about Thor stumbles upon a Stark drone? It's basically just a flying camera that somehow has personality, like R2-D2, but NO beeps and boops. The communicator is busted, and Thor isn't a tech guy. So we get Thor reacting to the loss of Tony, get your mockumentary camera following him, and maybe get some payoff when a big thump fixes the comms just enough for some last words... (percussive maintenance, and Thor can be like, "I always knew Stark should've let me try hitting his tech when it had an issue." or something)
“There is no Tyr in the MCU.” How could you forget about that Dark World.
Love the idea of Mikaboshi being introduced or teased in Moon Knight season 2
I love these pitch videos
There is a Tyr in the MCU, makes a very small cameo in Thor 2 right around after Thor, Loki and Jane escape Asgard. But he most likely died in Ragnarok.
I honestly kinda loved the idea to the first pitch.
I hope Sersi appears again in the MCU like in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars and maybe Thor 5
I love the first pitch it really fits the mcu and can connect the thunderbolts with the asguardian crew and connect to the secret invasion plot
Love your pitches!
Another question: Do we think India Rose Hemsworth (Chris’ daughter and Love’s actress) will be playing the character long-term? Sure, she’s pretty much always guaranteed to be available if she’s in her dad’s movie, but does the MCU plan on sticking with her for future projects, or would they rather age her up and recast her with a more established, older actor?
I've always wanted to see the Chaos King in the MCU or some kind of film adaptation, such a badass character
Taika’s Mando episodes were great!
“Of course she is, she’s adopted.” Is perfect, nando
I laughed so hard at "I'm a betting man, I Snap on turn 1 sometimes" Great video as always, Nando. Watching your pitches is sometimes more entertaining than watching the actual movies that actually come out. I'm salivating at the idea of a Thunderbolts X Revengers Siege movie!
As a Marvel Snap player, I approve of that joke
Thank You for uploading this today. Today was a pretty bad day for me but your video cheered me up.
I really have never understood the Love and Thunder backlash. Not sure if it’s because I don’t read the comics or what. The last pitch is so solid. I hope they steal some of your ideas.
Last pitch was awesome, rooting for something like that. (That adopted joke is straight up Taika's alley and also a callback)
I just want a scene where enchantress is in a room with love and she sees right through amora
love the last pitch! please more :)
Simple. Don’t. Thor has gotten more than enough solo movies. I feel he should now be treated similar to Iron Man post Iron Man 3 where he’s still around and shows up to help when he’s needed.
I love the adopted family is also family message of the last pitch. its perfect
29:33 Is that a Speed Racer reference in the year our Lord 2023? Nando, you might have just won the year 😊
Maybe the Eternal they grabbed was Thena, Druig or Mercuri from the ship? Maybe even Eros?
The strikes are kind of over. Baring it being voted against in the next week.
Tgis video was probably made before the strikes were over
@@D.O.O.O.T. True, but still bears stating.
If Love & Thunder was about 30% less silly it would have been great.
Absolutely amazing pitch dude - loved them all, but the last one is truly worthy ⚡️ hope Kevin is listening
Lots of cool ideas, and I agree the number 1 is the best and would make a satisfying cap on the prior movie
Would be cool if they make it more space based and crossover Thor and the gods with the Eternals
Great pitch bro❤
Look… I don’t think I can ever forgive taika for completely killing off with a single bullet two of thors best storylines of recent times. Like sure, it has its moments but the original material had infinite potential and he KOd two of them… just like with secret invasion, wasted potential
Yup
Not to mention one of hulks best storylines
Yeppp.
My goodness, that last pitch! I want Ares in the MCU so bad! Hercules is cool but Ares is like the dark counterpart to Thor! Really wanna see that!
Honestly the first one you said was the best. I think what these movies are lacking is Loki. I think however they wrap up season 2 they need to move Loki out of the TVA and reunite him with Thor even if it's not permanent
Thanks for tha video
I’m working on Thor 5 and am focusing around mortals “fearing the gods” and the story being more of a fight for Midgard and home/family and away from earth. It also evolves/completes Thor’s arc as the new all father and gets him “out of the mcu” to make room for new characters and stories
Hot take, Thor 4 should have been "The Mighty Thor", had Jane as the lead with Thor as a supporting character, and possibly swapped out Gorr for Amora or Zeus and Ares/Hercules as the villain(s) and maybe brought in Angela. Gorr would have been saved for another movie.
Bast giving Love panther rides is something I need in my life
I'm pretty sure whenever you pitch an idea, you just have one.
Secret invasion: nobody liked it I certainly *wanted* to like it
I still don't get why we'd need "the real Tony Masters". 1. The next appearance of Taskmaster will be after more than a decade of off-screen non-brainwashed character development, so her personality is essentially a blank slate that they can make as close to comics Taskmaster as they want. 2. Dreykov implied that Antonia had a unique ability to replicate what she watches when talking to Natasha at the end. Her abilities aren't just tech. Hence why he couldn't just make all of his widows into taskmasters, and why she had to watch the Civil War airport fight with her own eyes. 3. She's not gonna keep her abuser's name, so it makes sense for her to get rid of the "Dreykov" to become Antonia "Toni" Masters.
Tony is boring as a character anyway. It's because people don't want it to be a woman.
@@mr.iiconicBig agree. There's nothing vital about Tony that Antonia can't just have now that she's unbrainwashed
I think the backstory for Bill can still be that Syrtyr destroyed his planet. It could even follow the miniseries story where he goes into Hel to fight the dead Syrtyr and take his sword, and we've even introduced the other characters from that story already- Pip and Skurge. That story would be great to adapt to a movie- it's pretty much the perfect length. Obviously they wouldn't do a 1:1 adaptation, but they should definitely lift elements from it.
The final pitch was awsome. I know it wouldn’t be likely but since Angela was Originally a Spawn Character it would be Suuper cool if we got a Spawn cameo or reference. Agin supper unlikely but supper cool
Shouldve been loki movie in between seasons of phase 4-5
When Hercules gets his own show or movie I hope it will be "Amadeus & Herc", based on his teamup with Amadeus Cho in "The Incredible Hercules". It would set it apart from all the other Hercules movies and shows, and I think that would be a very fun dynamic. Also reminds me a little bit of Waver Velvet and Rider/Iskandar from Fate/Zero.
I will have to check out that run. I've only read Herc stuff from after that era, including his time with the Guardians of the Galaxy (which I liked).
Da king is back baby he neva miss
I love your pitch. The only thing I'd add is a post credits scene where Thor accidentally meets TVA Loki (who is dealing with the aftermath of Loki season 2 stuff) who Thor is shocked to see isn’t dead (to which Loki explains he's a variant), and TVA Loki tells Thor he'll see him again in the coming conflict. This would add another dimension to the family theme, and would set up future Phase 5 and 6 tension.
The serpent should be the midgard serpent not Cul Borson
I definitely snap on turn 1 as well lol
I would much rather they cast Henry Cavill as Hyperion which is perfect casting & we get to see that brotherhood/comraderie instead of Hercules. They should also cast Terry Crews as Beta Ray Bill & introduce him. The main villain should be Mangog & Thor should get full power & control of The Thor Force.
I think the Cull storyline would be great and I think Disney would love it because they can make toys of all the superheroes with the hammers. Marvel's Avengers Alliance already made She-Hulk one of the Worthy
Think Thor 5 has to play into the multiverse & incursions story. They should try to adapt a version of when Thor, Starbrand & Hyperion went to face the Beyonders. Fits the overarching story and gives that much more powerful villain. Hercules could be a stand in for Hyperion. Like the comic it should end with Thor dying
What if… Love would make Galactus “full” for millennia and the herald seeking her is hoping take sacrifice one life for countless worlds and sees himself as a dark hero.
Couldn't resist sneaking in a "Love, Actually" reference.
Liked it too
Gods Squad is an epic pitch!
Can we bring the bleached eyebrows back for Thor ? 😂😂😂
YOUR MIND FOR THE ANGELA CAMEO! i love her so much ;)
The other, bigger issue with the Malekith one is that Christopher Ecclestone doesn’t like to double dip. He has stated on numerous occasions that he does not like returning to roles, that’s just something he doesn’t do. Although he does seem to have softened that stance recently, as evidenced by him actually reprising his role in Doctor Who for Big Finish (even if he still won’t return to it on screen). So maybe if the script was right he might do it.
I adore the idea of Love getting the thor force.
"I snap on turn one sometimes..." I understood that reference.
The idea of Feige texting a KZheadr to get pitches, then receiving them through KZhead videos.
“Sure she is, she’s adopted” would be so cute and funny and also very emotional and powerful, such a full circle moment 🥹
"Sure she is, she's adopted." That got me right in the feels.
when nando made the joke about the show that came out this summer i literally forgot about secret invasion
Casting of Jehovah had me worried for a sec there, but then you stated your non-negotiable choice and I was in 100% I need to see that.
Truly an inspired choice, I gasped
"Dark Avengers at home" 😂😂
you're the best.
I think there's a lot between Thor and Love's parallell's to Odin and Loki. Considering they're both the adopted children of what they would consider their enemies. Tying that in with whatever conflic comes from Hercules and Zeus would probably be great if a better writer than me wrote it lol.
Thanks for shouting out the BRB x DWJ miniseries!.. Speaking of, i’m officially asking for a Wonder Woman: Dead Earth casting/plot video.
I just want to say if we do it all get that first idea where they're going up against the Thunderbolts and their clear analogs to the Avengers I want that classic avenger back to back shot but in reverse.
Love these pitches so much but with Bill, I’m sure Gamora and Nebula helped Thanos decimate Bill’s planet in Endgame when they go back to 2014. You could use that really
looking healthier 👍
Personally, I think Fear Itself would make a really strong foundation for a Thor 5, especially if they potentially wanted to use it as a jumping off point for Chris Hemsworth if he is tired of the role now. Enchantress and maybe Gray Gargoyle or something accidentally free the Serpent from his imprisonment. He turns them, Hercules, and Love (who is having familial issues with her adopted dad) into his acolytes and plans to spread fear all over the world. Thor is afraid because of an ancient Asgardian prophecy that "Thor will die fighting the Serpent" and is also struggling with the idea that his entire family basically has turned out evil (maybe even bring back Hela, Gorr, and Malekith as fear hallucinations to get to him). Big fight, Thor eventually gets through to Hercules and Love and defeats Serpent, dies in the process and gets reunited with his friends and family in the afterlife. I also think that Ragnarok was very much 70s rock and Love and Thunder was 80s, Fear Itself could be 90s metal. Have For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica in the trailer and I think that sets a great tone musically.
