  • Hi Paula! I'm 60yrs old and this is my very first comment ever! I just had to tell you how much I have enjoyed watching your quarantine cooking episodes and these blast from the past treats! After watching this episode I ran to the kitchen and whipped up the potato salad and its chilling in the frig right now! It is so good (had to taste it of course!) You brighten my day and I just love your personality and famous laugh! I used to watch you years ago and have missed seeing you. What a nice surprise to be welcomed into your kitchen again. Especially during this pandemic. You and your family and friends are a welcomed ray of sunshine! Sending you all the best from California : )

  • Have done a similar chicken recipe many times that's served wrapped up in crepes with spinach leaves, tomatoes, onions, kalamata olives, cucumbers, assorted grated cheeses and a variation of a greek dressing. For the marinade I used basically a very heavily seasoned vinaigrette with lemon juice, worcestershire, dried oregano, dried parsley flakes, dried thyme, dijon, white wine vinegar, salt, black pepper and olive oil, whisked like crazy, but then add mayo to it before coating chunks of chicken breast meat. It's easy. It's incredible!!! And it gives the biddies something to talk about besides each other. Can't beat that.

  • Oh my gosh....!! That all looks so good !! I was just thinking the other day about homemade barbecue sauce . I haven't had any in a long time , but I remember my mama making it when I was growing up . My stepdad and his friends would cook a hog and one of his friends would always make homemade barbecue sauce too . It was always so good . I believe my stepdad's friend would make one barbecue sauce hot and the other one wasn't hot . Those were some fun times growing up . I'm gonna make your barbecue sauce Miss Paula . Thank you Miss Paula and Bobby for sharing another awesome video with us !! I love it !! Oh and have Happy 4th of July tomorrow !! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💥💥💥🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊😘😘😘❤❤❤

  • Have learned that if you're the best cook in the family, they'll all expect you to do all or the majority of the cooking and insist that the dishes you don't make will use your recipes, because they expect nothing less than stellar food that's different from what they can get anywhere else. Keeps you on your toes though, and gives you the opportunity to train up the next generation of cooks.

    • What!! That's completely untrue, lol. Have you been wasting time making sure which side of foil you use for all these years?😄 Bless your heart! It doesn't matter which side you use. Reynolds wrap says it is just the way it is manufactured and makes no difference whatsoever. You should Google your "facts." www.womansday.com/food-recipes/food-drinks/a60228/right-side-of-aluminum-foil/ www.finecooking.com/article/test-kitchen-tip-use-aluminum-foil-shiny-side-up-or-down#:~:text=Most%20people%20think%20it%20matters,the%20matte%20side%20doesn't.
