What were your thoughts watching it at the time?
@@rspct9654 I wanted them to fight but I knew it probably woudnt be straight away I thought Khan would fight Ricky Hatton if he beat sevchenko. Then when Hatton lost and kell won his world title like a year later and Khan was coming of his very good win over Alexander I thought they would definitely fight then but nothing. then when I was at the Jojo Dan fight I thought when kell called him out in the ring after it had to be next but then nothing and then kinda gave up with it
In 2012, Khan was a bigger name and was actually fighting the top guys, where as Brook had yet to win a world title.
But when was last time Khan won a world title and never have at welterweight
Khan beat Julio Diaz former world champion at 144lb catch weight, then collazo after he koed victor ortiz who are both former world champions at 147 and then he beat former 140 and 147 champion devon alexander which made Khan the 147 silver wbc champion which made him the wbc number one rank and the mandetory for the champion which was mayweather. At this time brook defended against jo jo Dan and frankie gavin which both never won a title.

I only mentioned other Welterweights, and you seemed to miss that lol you also mentioned irrelevant boxing match-ups that anyone with basic boxing knowledge knows about. You must have little man syndrome lol Brook also lost to the two best Welterweights Crawford and Spence(idk why you mentioned GGG since we explained the weight difference match-ups). Brook's the only one out of the two who actually won a world title at Welterweight. You must have lacked the knowledge to know that basic fact 😂 You should leave boxing talk to the grow-ups stick with watching cartoons, little guy.

I have found a new found love for Khan that I never really noticed until recently. Not only is he a warrior but a comedian in equal measure, I can't stop laughing at how he has lived rent free in Brooks head for the last 15 years. I half want him to pull out of their fight just to send Brook over the edge.

I know Kell. He wanted to fight Khan when this interview happened but Khan ran away. Kell just took whoever was willing to fight him. You have to remember when he fought GGG there was literally no-one else willing to fight him including Amir Khan because they all knew they were going to get beaten and Kell was unbeaten then. As far as he was concerned he'd already beaten Amir Kahn by his refusal to fight. Don't think he lost a moment's sleep worrying about Amir Khan. Maybe his manager did trying to make the fight but getting frustrated but not Kell.

Khan has taken some horrendous punches and carried on, maidana was no pillow puncher and Canelo ko would have done anyone fact ! a lot of respect for Khan he’s absolute quality

@@TheDslick1 he was still the most entertaining boxer of this generation imo and never backed down from a fight. He put a show against Manny Pacquiao during sparring and is the only boxer Floyd Mayweather was afraid to box.

I just hope it lives up to the hype. Not sure who wins and quite frankly I don't care. I probably favour Khan as he will have all the check weights in his favour and 149 is going to be difficult for Kell. Not sure what the re-hydration limit is but knowing Khan that will be in his favour too,

Even though it's a good few years later than it should have happened, I'm still excited by this fight. The age doesn't bother me as much with these two as their career trajectories are on a very similar path. I expect that they're still very closely matched all these years later and I'm anticipating a fight of the year candidate. True malice between these 2, especially with Kell. I can't wait.

Khan has aged really well. Looks the same now as 10 years ago. If anything he might even look a bit better now having added a bit more muscle. Think it's mainly because of the good hair genetics. Enviable really.

@@Birmingham_racing let’s not forget Floyd heavily struggled and even lost to De Lahoya and Coralles al it’s not like Floyd was un beatable. Plus I’m not decisively saying Floyd loses to khan but if you look at the kind of speed Khan had , and boxing IQ, Floyd’s boxing would struggle vs someone that good like Khan Khan only lost to some heavy punchers , something Floyd is not. Would have been a really really good fight!!!!
