Grandpa never let Philly's effort goes unnoticed always got me. He will give her thumbs up after the hard work and for the delicious foods she cooked. Little things like this can warm someone's heart and make them feel appreciated. Nice to see everyone helping out and chitchatting while doing the work, good and kind neighbours are hard to find nowadays. They are lucky..

Absolutely!!! I was thinking the same thing. Felista be proud of who you are, you’re not going to burn in the sun, it enhances your colour. Don’t let these people tell you otherwise as it’s beginning to affect your children too. I noticed that Doudou’s friend told him that too. Of course they’re a different nation and I love the way how they interact with each other, but the colour of your skin is starting to creep in and I’m beginning to not like that although I love the videos, which is so relaxing with family life❤

I love how they forage for herbs, veggies and bamboo shoots. Them shoots must be really tasty. Makes sense why Pandas love them. Felista, maybe you should teach your friend how to carry stuff on her head😅 Carrying heavy stuff on the back must be very uncomfortable but I see that’s how the Chinese do. It’s just that as they get older they tend to bend forward. Love you guys!

Felista has been busy again 😮collecting bamboo shoots with her bestie and Lao Li. As young moms they get on really well, understand each other and share a close bond of sisterhood. Both know the meaning of hard work and carrying those bags of bamboo shoots takes some strength. Lai lo had me laughing when first he blamed Fei Er for eating all the chicken Felista cooked and later saying he could not help to carry the bags because he hadn't eaten any chicken for days😊 What'a great team they make and another lovely video giving another glimpse of every day people in this special community.

What not to like - clean air, green mountain, spring water, even the fields have irrigation water and lots of seasonal organic plants to forage for food. Bamboo shoots are pickled or sun dried for a year's consumption. The only downsides are limited farmland due to mountainous terrain and a little isolated as the nearest town is far away.
