Let's dive into the world of DIY, crafting, and intriguing life hacks. 🛠️ 🛠️
Great idea, would like to mention when having a second battery in the box, place a piece of plastic where the terminals could touch the case. This will stop the spare battery from shorting out and going flat. A great project.
That is amazing. I love all of the electrical "how to". Thank you so much for the tutorial.
Some 9v batteries might explode if you open them, use thick gloves and a protective mask. The blast is strong enough to blind you
I subscribed just because of your intro! Thank you for this informative video!!
the second backup battery could short-circuit lol
No.
+MoronicArc yes, because it could touch the side of the can
I said No.
you could glue some plastic in to cover the metal. Cut a sheet from a plastic bottle for example.
why woul not short it? i mean, yeah theres a protective layer i'm sure, but the way he placed that spare battery is a tight fit, and you know when you rub 2 metal surfaces one to another, it will scratch the surface resulting in the can may loose its protective layer -if any- and will short it.. not immediatly, maybe never, but if you constantly changing the batteries, it may happen
Thanks for the video! I built one this morning, and I am wondering if you conected the second battery in parallel to increase the current, would that be able to take advantage of the "fast charge" option many newer phones have?
Won't the batteries end quicker
Roman, I am a fan from Costa Rica. I appreciate your videos very much. It amazes me to think how you come up with the tutorials and how your mind works. Thanks again and keep on making more stuff. :-)
because he is a Russian
I remember watching this in 2016, I wanted to make this so bad but I couldn't really do it as a 9 year old. I still love this idea to this day!
You bring creativity to an entirely new level. I've jimmy rigged a lot of things in my life but not once have I ever actually considered using a 9v battery to make a 9v battery cap lol
I must admit, i was impressed by that detail as well.
And the amount of times I’ve needed a cap and had 200 dead 9 volts on my desk 😂 (bio med tech)
easier to just go and buy one!
that's right
+yiğit alp Dalyan dollar tree sell white ones that you put batteries in
Not everyone has a local dollar tree store, or even a dollar for that matter.
+J&M I agree and it could be a fire hazard to try and make one. I guess people could try it but they shouldn't be surprised when they burn down there house 🔥
yeah, because getting all these could be even cost money! where would you get wires?
Great stuff! As usual
Fixing to make me one!! Thanks for the very helpful video. 👍
I'm watching how to make stuff and how to survive in the wild when I found out N.korea and u.states might have nuclear war
Louise Masiu actually me to , do you have a specific youtubers channels ?
it worked thanks
Super great you watch dragon Ball super
"Thank You", thank you very much ☺️ Your presentation was REALLY Really really KOOL 😎
woooooow...this is AAAAMAAAAZING! You are super smart and talented!
Is it just me that noticed that it looks like he shorted out the second 9-volt battery when he put it in. Looks like both terminals may have touched that metal box???
Yeah I noticed this should no better than that really
Couldn't you connect the second battery in parallel? Also, if the car charger desires 12V, would it be more efficient to offer it the series combination of 18V or starve it with 9V? Cool video, I especially liked what you did with the through-hole soldering. Thank you.
No, that wouldn't work. It wouldn't no, but its the Mexican's fault you know that. I to know that.
it depends on the exact ic on the board. if the IC can handle 18V, i would say that its more efficient, especially because you can discharge the batteries much further and the voltage is still sufficient to power your charger
You can connect two batteries in parallel in a car, but it requires a diode between to bias them in one direction (or relay or "battery isolator"). If you don't, while the circuit is unpowered the batteries will kill one another trying to charge each other in a sort of resonant circuit; dissipating the energy through the internal resistances and connections. I imagine you could do the same thing by salvaging a schottsky diode from just about anything and putting it between the two 9Vs thus giving you nearly twice the energy at the same 9V.
If it’s in parallel same voltrage but amperage is increased
Great job Roman ! Hello from Czech
Mr. romanursu; another good one of your presentations. thank you.
Welcome to mother brother tory, where is safety number 1 priority
To my laboratory*
I like you. You funny. I appreciate.
I dont like this Place.
No one does Lol xD
Lol
We all know nobody will do it
hehehehe
hissss
I will, I made 7 of them and have it to my friends and family, and making more, it's pretty fun to make
I also made a couple and passed it to family. It makes a great emergency charger. I make my kids pack one when they go hiking or camping.
Don't looks very efficient. How much can charge it in your device?
just one thing, i see potential shorting of the backup battery as it is unprotected in a metalic case. Great idea!! I'm trying it this weekend!
the earth need more genius like u!
What about if I go through the customs at the airport, will I have issues?
Charge your phone 100% and reach your destination, take some time and make a new charger at your current location. Follow it or else buy a 10000 mah powerbank. Never try to even take it through the security check in. It would be a serious problem on your end. Because these wiring and cabling on small scale self made devices are strictly prohibited.
:)
Are you serious 🤦🏼♀️
I advice you to isolate the poles of the spare battery, if you don't want to have a portable egg fryer.
That's what I was thinking
But that would ruin it all! An egg-frying phone charger would be awesome!
Does he really think someone will make this
+Kali's Gaming i was thinking that. Its cool and everything but its cheaper to buy the proper thing from the store. Here you need to buy the soldering equipment batteries glue gun and then spend time making it. Its a cool lil project but nah i see these make your own thing videos and be like ill watch and admire your work.
The intro is soooo thematically :)
Enjoyed the video keep up the good work
Who else is here to see it charges with AA battery, not the 9v? F....kk...
easy if you have a battery casing for it, you'll know what to do. -idk lol-
Crazy Rushon hacker
Jackie
I thought it was double a
AA batteries would've been a better choice.
can you make a video of rechargeable power bank?? and a solar power bank with 18650 battery??
Thank you So much for your Innovative Idea............. Love It !
I love your channel very implemented in stuff like this
IS DANGEROUS FOR MY PHONE BATERY IF I USE THIS REGULARY?
Not if you have a 5 volt regulator but most car chargers already regulate the voltage to 5 volts So no it’s not dangerous just don’t short circuit the battery
I think it's better to use a rechargeable battery🤔🤔🤔🤔...? right
Great one there man, I gat it, Thanks
Thanks for the video! I guess we could also use some of the ideas to power a DIY portable Bluetooth speaker. 😀
useless for newer phones with more than 1000 mAh capacity. Those 9V batterys have an average capacity of 200 mAh. Buy a powerbank.
I really think the point of this, is a project video, for the fun of the project honestly. Very valid point that it's more practical to just buy a commercial powershot.
Christopher Hampe xD fuckn nerd
Christopher Hampe I have 600mah liion batteries
Not to smart ! ............... Yellow is Plus (+) and Red is minus (-)
Christopher Hampe thats an emergency power bank
Wont that second battery short out against the inside of the metal box?
no idea I'm honestly confused as hell....
+L Lawliet death note is bae
Yes it will so put something on the box where the terminals of the battery makes contact. Rubber or plastic will do.
+Brian Tuazon well didn't he put some plastic from a water bottle in there?
1milylily Well he did but not on the part where the extra battery terminals hits the case.. So if you guys are gonna DIY this put something there..
like your style you make the stuff, and the dynamic in your videos. Whatch out to insulate the backup battery in that video...
OH MY GOD amazing!!!!! I will surely try this!!!! 👏👏👏👌
1:24 what is this, the liquid if you use to battery cap?
Yeah!
probably some kind of alcohol to clean it so it makes better contact
It looks like flux. It's made of rosin and alcohol.
this is not ok, there is not much power in a 9v battery, 300-500 mah maybe
GREAT REUSE OF THE USED PART. LOVE IT
I have already made a iphone charger similar to this on my own...but your makeshift nine volt connector is going to save me money and time..i am in desperate need of one. awesome
why do you link your youtubechannel on KZhead? wtf
because people like to post content like this on Social Media, and this water mark is a good way to advertise and be recognized for his effort.
ToastBubbles oh okay thank you
ToastBubbles
FaZe QuanTo every youtuber does.
prevents freebooting
only problem is a 9V battery typically has a capacity of around 500mAh. it'll charge my phone at a max of 20-30%
yah dumbass
Then this is completely useless. I`ll be going through the 9V like freshly baked bread. And they`re not rechargeable, so that makes it suck even more. I`d just use a boost converter and a 2000mAh 3.7V rechargeable battery and the end game will be much more feasible
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing
HE REALLY CONNOT MAKE THE BATTERREIS PORTABLE CHARGER. HE REBIULDE IT,HE CONNOT MAKE IT OWN CIRCUIT BOARD,,
What?
thanks for subscribe my INSTAGRAM: instagram.com/romanursu
hi roman i love all your video but unfortunately i can't make some because I don't have money and my mother won't let but I'll try to keep up watching your videos much love from fanss
+Abdul Prefect come on man nobody's perfect he's just used to KZhead dont be that hard on him
+Roman UrsuHack рома ответь пожалуйста
+Roman UrsuHack I have all the things for that, and was thinking about it latelly, thanks mate!
Bro your videos are great. Can you please show us how to make a mosquito repellent using a buzzer.
love the intro!
I came out of curiosity, then stayed for that "Is that an advanced modern Russian robot" voice :)
Warning! Your Phone has a Maxinum Voltage of 3.7V - 3.8V And your Original Charger is a Output Voltage of 5V Your Powerbank is a Charging Voltage of 9V Its Nice. The Your Phone charge up faster, but it may happen that your Phone Battery may [ LEAK, EXPLODE ] because its overcharge at a High Voltage. I Recomanded you to just buy Real POWERBANK for $1 - $3 in any Shops. You can also buy anything you want. You can also make this PowerBank in your House but your Battery must be in a Low Voltage of 5V I am telling you for your SAFETY. Thank You!
The USB charger has a step down amp.
cnzuhfibcfhh
+Dejan Brice Step down amp? There are actual stories of phones exploding from circuits such as these, plus the phones don't actually charge from this, despite the voltage input. The thing is, the amperage going into the phone isn't enough to charge it, and would result in a excessive buildup in voltage and in return ruin your phone. Because car chargers usually always have an input of 12v and a decent amperage, the circuit is built to handle THAT and only that amount of wattage input.
did you not notice the step down converter or actually watch the video?
I apperetiate it man but why is the circuit for ? It is for converting 12 to 5 or 4 volts the car gives an out put of 12 volts the circuit in the carger converts it to 5 or smothing thats y roman used the circuit and iphone and any other smart phone when dectects an overvoltage and undervoltage it disconnects the charger immediatly by itself
thanks mannnnn...u r awsome
Bravo, super treaba !
OMFG i love this channel, this is genious but i don´t have the tools to make things like that :7
pretty cool, just wish I had the right tools
This could be good for some of those make at home Birthday/Christmas presents.
Looks like nobody would ever do it, but it was fun to watch
Thank you....Helped me a lot....u could have bought the terminals separately instead of just breaking it from the 9v battery....The video was Helpful 👏
Roman UrsuHack! I made 10 of these, I recently just made 2 of these with a double head USB charger!
Thanks realy muck i had all needed things lying around and i whanted to buy phone charger, but now i can make my own! Thanks!!!!!
Damn man u are genious m defenitely donna make one for myself not because of money problem but because of it uses battries instead of charging it up thats a cool thing
I watched several videos you upload on youtube . i hope you can also the things that we need for simple projects or repair. And how to use it.
this was pretty awesome
i like because u have explained every thing with clarity voice and names of each and every item please carrt on.......... the same thing and one more suggestion pls or explain contents before you show any video it looks so good...........
These stuffs are very great for remote areas without electricity. Where your powerbanks cant be charged after depletion. So long you have AA batteries you are good.
damn that's a goodURSS soldering iron, i bet i was used to solder cooper wires in T-34's :))
well done man.
that is really well done
You should really have a diode in the circuit to prevent back charging although there's probably one in the car adapter circuit.
Now that! Is an intro!
yo man its owsomeeeeeeeeeeee waooooooooooo nice bro keep it up :)
fajny gadzet i przydatny w praktyce
You should line any metal case containing batteries with a non-conductive surface for safety.
good job i build things like this from your ideas.
good ideal.. one thing if someone hasnt said it.. insulate the spare battery slot so the top of the battery dont short out an cause a fire or something..
You could put what you need below but very helpful thanks.
So, this should also work with Samsung devices? Nice video by the way :)
You did well on this video I appreciate it And I definitely gained from it
Where did you buy the small tools or like anyone know sets like that for cheap online to in stores?
älskar filmerna
well personally i loved this vid.
Your intro very best sir
Thankyou for sharing this!! do we have to use an 9volt battery? what is the optimum battery voltage we could use? thankyou :-)
one very cool and easy video thumbs up
this guy's voice honestly reminded me of pink sheep in the beginning XDD
it was dam cool man and thank's bro
Hello Roman. I was wondering if it would be possible to make a USB cell phone power bank/charger using both a 9v battery and a AA/AAA battery circuit. Also, have the circuit switch between the two types. Is this too complicated to make?
the backup battery is gonna short in that metal can. needs a small bit of plastic to cover the posts
nice video thanks ruman
Nice job but...you need to insulate the extra battery. when you store it inside the "metal" container you immediately shorted the battery and can start a fire.
good innovation. Pls try keep doing good things and Load it. Thq
xD again UDSSR School Только наши до такого додумаются... RESPECT
nice gotta try this hack
A spare battery in the box!!! what a great idea! BUT. If you do not put anything non conductive on your battery poles, they are going to stay in contact with the metal of the box and even in a few days you may have a surprise when you wish to use it! good luck!
Their is plastics in the mint holder
Is the reason you put that piece of plastic on the bottom so there was a barrier between the circuits and the metal? So that way no stray electrical signals traveled through the device?
I wouldve done a parallel connection with two 9VDC batteries to double up the ampere hours rather than have the battery free float in the case not to mention the terminals are brushing up against the side shorting it out.
You should fuse the (+) wire as near to the battery as possible.
amazing dude
