Both of them stand out from everyone else - cash being the only asexual student and darren being the only nonbinary student - and somehow they fell in love and found each other. while all the other couples had sex and then fell in love these two did the falling in love part first. and that means something to me

OMG same! Love is worth fighting for, but sometimes it can be just so draining (for both asexual and sexual partner). I am Ace myself and have been in a relationship with a sexual partner for 8 years. So many up and downs! So glad they represent it in this show. I was literally screaming at my screen when I found out Ca$h is Ace and to see the real struggle in my life being put on screen just healed some part of me❤ I am rooting for this couple more than anyone else!

I know your channel cuz a few months ago on twitter, Young Royals fans talked about your Wilmon video… and I was like "cool!" Now that I watched HBH, I am absolutely obsessed with Darren and Cash (especially the (now) love of my life cashy boy, I guess that’s mainly because I relate to him about the asexuality and this representation means the world to me, and the way it is portrayed in the show with his dynamic with Darren is absolutely perfect, it makes sense. I just love how it is Darren that decided to change and not cash cuz thats mostly how people expect these kind of relationships to work, like the ace one that should do some effort just to make the other one happy when that’s actually the least healthy way to make the relationship work. It is easier to not have sex than forcing yourself to have sex and I reckon that Darren, tho they are really frustrated, they did their best to understand him and support him and everything. They both are PERFECT for each other, perfect soulmates), and I really need to see them again and again and over again. It is not even been two weeks since I discovered the show but I already am on my third watch… I am not lying when I say that I NEED these two lovers… and my mind just remembered of you, that one tweet about your channel and I thought that MAYBE you did a video on them… that’s the biggest surprise to see that you indeed dedicated one for them, it makes me so happy, I love you edit, I love them, it’s simply perfect just to get my dose of my favorite couple on earth… you summed up in only 15 minutes who they are (which also means they deserve more screen time together, I need them to be all cuddly and kissy with no angst on season 3 please lord), their chemistry and the reason why I am so in love with them, I could not be more thankful than what I am currently. However, don’t get me wrong with all I said before, I don’t forget that Darren almost assaulted cash on his sleep in season one ahah and I hate it. That’s also one of the reasons why Darren has to be the one to "change" and not cashy, cuz they could harm people which is not cash’s case

many ace-allo relationships work. it just requires good communication. also asexuality is a spectrum - it doesn't mean we never have sex. some of us don't, some of us do. anyway, it's possible for allo-ace relationships to work :)
