edit: for redstone clock: You have to break and replace the redstone then flick lever by it on and off fast.
EDIT: If you're having trouble with my raid farm. It's more productive on hard difficulty and with level 2 bad omen (adds a wave). You may need to adjust timing to fit your wave speeds, watch my next version video. Also smp's are probably modded and can affect the farm so ask your admin there.

Update: Yes its working in 1.17.1 but you need to have atleast a diamond sword with sharp5, sweep edge 3 and mending. If vexes are spawning then set your autoclicker to click at every 625 miliseconds.

the fact, that this design only needs 1 villager, and doesn't require it to be built in the location of a villager outpost is a great advantage, I love the design, can't wait to kidnap myself a few villagers from my villager breeder in the end dimension. (gotta keep them there, my friends were complaining that it was laggy in the overworld...)
villager outposts buildings are crappy because they spawn pillagers that only drop crossbows

If your having a problem like I did with not getting that perfect spot right so you don’t hit the trap door... Keep the trap door closed, fall down like you would normally and put a pressure plate where one of the stone fence is, if it’s at the same height as the trap door that allows you to fall, it will activate it shortly allowing the trap door to open if you get stuck and the system will still do it’s thing and it works flawlessly even on glitchy servers. I hope this helped you. 👍
Works on 1.16 for anyone asking, I only seemed to be getting one wave, our server's difficult got reset to easy during the update to 1.16 so if you are seeing less mobs drop down check the difficulty or ask your server admin to. Changed it back to hard and it's working exactly as it did in 1.15.2 . Brilliant farm this, great for XP and the emeralds come in handy for my villager trading hall. Thanks.

Great farm that works great on our Bukkit SMP hardcore server. It is providing everyone with totems. Thanks!! Just make sure to follow the tutorial exactly. And make sure the head of the bed is facing south and the ice spawn blocks above are on the south-east compared to the head of the bed to be able to spawn the raid.

If you are going to build this, a few notes. 1. PLEASE make sure you light up the areas around the water elevator. I got sniped by a skeleton several times during my first test. 2. The vex will get to you, so wear good armor. 3. MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON HARD DIFFICULTY. I didn't realize I was on easy and I had to get bad omen again from the outpost because I lost the bad omen.

ik 2 year passed but imma ask, for your 3 tips i am in hard diff but i dont get bad omen, why that? i checked only one time above the packed ice and there was the one with the banner but it didnt come down what i did wrong= (1.18.2)
@@ninolussoso9294 it could be multiple different things, first check that the raid cant spawn anywhere except for the platform. secondly check that the villager is far enough away so that you are out of the raid range. third try increasing the timer for the trapdoor so that you wait a little longer before falling down. i know it's been 2 months but maybe it'll help someone else

I have a village AND a pillager hut next to my base. What I did was I put a villager and a bed under the hut, then stood on top of the bed as well. pillagers kept coming into my lava room and I created and infinite raid farm. This design works still, and is just as productive other than crossbows and exp.
If you want the best possible time between swings in 1.16.3, you need to set your autoclicker to 650 millisecond intervals. That will instantly give sweeping edge a full swing.
no the cooldown is 630milliseconds so set it to that

Been troubleshooting our farm for hours because the raids wouldn't spawn, turns out we had to use PACKED ICE instead of regular ice, farm works great thanks for the video

Great farm love it, but do have a question on optimally starting it. Whenever i fly it the raid auto starts due to i guess the 2/3 villagers up top, but my hopper clock sometimes is not in the ideal situation and ill get an early trap gate before i clear the raid, best way to enter, and start to make sure the clock lines up for the trapdoor ? thanks again
Do the first raid completely without dropping down, than get in position to be dropped and you will be synced

Fabulously Evil Yes, 1.14 makes it harder to do ridiculously large iron farms. However, it also makes it incredibly easy to get a starter level iron farm. Like I had one within about 6 hours of my 1.16 snapshots survival world, and I wasn’t rushing to make the farm, just making it when I started to need more iron.

this is a great farm i built this in my world a few weeks ago and it works super well it gives me alot of witch drops , saddles , infinite totems , and infinite emeralds thx for the farm edit : i just built this on a server i play on and it works super well edit ( 1 year later ) : if you want a like a raid farm with even better rates and to not ever die just build one of the stacking raid farms i built cowkings one and it works perfect and gives 200k emeralds and 380k in total and like 100k witch drops so if you want a more complicated farm then try that

This farm works in the new snapshot! I just build it in survival, and the only issue I have with the farm is that I stop getting new raids after around 5-10 mins of afk’ing. That still gives me like 4-7 stacks of emeralds each time. It’s also a great xp source. I would recommend building this

First off, great vid! Second, my question is on the spawning of the raids. If I were to build this over land, what's preventing the raid from spawning down there instead of the ice? I understand that it spawns based on the village centre but I'm uncertain on the specifics beyond that. Thank you again for your great video!

With how many Totems of Undying you get, it's bound to get patched or nerfed somehow in new updates. I mean Mojang did remove the recipe for god apples(enchanted golden apples) that made you basically invincible.
totems arent op since they are single use unstackable. thats why theyre not op. but the fact that you can get 3-4 per raid is the op thing. the issue is is, nerfing that would make normal raids not very worth it

For anyone who built the raid farm from Puffinfish's tutorial and still are having vex spawn (I did due to server switching to paper) replace the packed ice for blue ice. No more vex spawns.
This time it ran for 5 hours before any Vex spawn ed

Hey man for some reason vexes spawn after 10/15 minutes of using the farm. Our SMp server runs on tuinity i have a absolutely maxed out sword and I tried running my autoclicker on 1.5 sec delay. Tried replacing some glass blocks above me with blocks that block vision but vexes still spawn and I cant to figure out why.
when using this dont open the trapdoor and fall down manually cause it could drop you down immediately right after the illagers fall down and vexes would spawn when you get back up... good thing i wasnt mending a tool in my offhand when that happened cause i used a totem almost instantly

Bedrock is easier and basic to build, also you can get bad omen while doing afk and you can stand in one place and afk anytime you want unlike others you have to find a villager captain

There’s a couple blocks at the bottom of glass tube that you put as stone, like the block that surrounds the minecart with hopper. I built this farm but I replaced those blocks with glass and I died from an evoker. Could that be the reason? Edit: I also have fire aspect on my sword, could that be a problem?

i have the same question, there doesn't seem to be any downside but it probably has diminishing returns for what is 9x the effort in most cases.
That’s not how blue ice works. Blue ice has a higher maximum velocity on it, not increased acceleration.
