  • Renee n Kieth - the years down the line, been following your channel & family, you two have been upright, loving & great parents. You don't owe an explanation to anybody. How many kids in this earth have lived & grown, seen & experienced the world & earth like them. They are world citizens. Huge Respect for you both.

  • I’ve been a (silent) subscriber for years now. Your content has fascinated and thrilled me for all this time. I love the life you have, but most importantly your family dynamics. The reason I’m commenting today is because of what Keith was talking about at. 22:00. Firstly I can’t believe that there were actual negative comments about that. So here’s what I have to say. That Jack is comfortable enough to express his feelings to the young lady he’s in a relationship with in front of his parents suggests that he has been brought up as a fine young man and is a credit to his parents. Good luck on the rest of your journeys.

  • Another great episode. My take on your kids has changed over the years, partially because of your channel. When I was a younger (26)father, I thought my friends who homeschooled were crazy and were going to have poorly socialized kids. Well, 26 years later, those same friends have courteous successful kids. Mine still struggle, they seem to be about 4 years behind the homeschooled kids AND I have had to "un teach" my kids so much of the public school agenda. You've done a great job. Never let anyone tell you different May your kids go on to be happy and successful adults who enjoy their lives and hopefully help change "polite society" in their images. And the fact Jack has a girlfriend on the boat reinforces the "socially normal" way your parenting style has taught. In your earlier days, I always thought "how will they meet/date" when they get older?" Whelp...just like that.

You are in an area that had a "Chimp" research facility in the 1950's. In the 1970's I worked with Florida Power and Light and it was undeveloped with wild monkeys in the swampy woods. I hope you get your engines soon, but if you are still there May 4th and 5th, we would love to meet you and your family. We will be there for our grand daughter's college graduation! We love Jack and Finn's videos. Especially enjoying Jack and his girlfriend. My wife and I dated on Dania and Hollywood Beach. You guys are bringing back fond memories! I loved boating, diving, and skiing in that area, as well as going to everglades, and Everglades City like Jack and friends!

  • You guys are great and admire the open and respectful relationship that exists in your family. In restricted homes, without realising, the kids build a dual personality. They are one person at home with their elders and they are another person outside their home. My parents were religious in a spiritual way with an open mind. I was so comfortable being around them as a kid, teenager and later as an adult. We had an amazing friendship and did a lot of travelling together like you guys, except we did it initially in a caravan and later on in camper vans. You guys are building such amazing memories that will remain fresh in all your mental screens. I am now 70+ and those memories brings immense joy as I feel my father and mother right here with me each time. My children have always enjoyed the stories and my grandchildren will do as well as they grow up. I have watched your videos from the time you bought your cat in Greece and have shared your channel with family and friends. Every so often we have a chat about the current or a previous episode you have posted. Seeing the younger members of Zatara family grow up is like seeing our neighbour's kid growing up. Good luck to all of you and wishing you all good health and good fortune. Fair winds 🤞💕

  • Renee, Don't take anything strangers say, personally. So many are so jealous of what you have and really don't understand it. Do not give them the power to steal one second of your peace. Keep your beautiful head up and on that amazing family of yours that you should be so proud off! Lots of us love your family and the rawness and openness of you ALL. Thanks for letting us in and sharing your lives with us.

  • Renee and Keith...thank you for speaking your peace about how you raised your children. I raised mine the same...not just with relationships, but with everything...with the thought that, if things go sideways ( and things always go sideways lol), I wanted to be the first person they called/talked to...not the last. That absolutely cannot happen without having very open, honest, and non-judgemental parents. The "neighborhood moms" might have thought I was crazy, but my kids shared everything with me and still do as adults. You've done it all right!

  • Props of Keith and Renee for being amazing parents and truly sensible, reasonable people who have raised an extraordinary family. Ignore the negatoilets. They can have their opinion and everyone is going to disagree on various things but it's also none of their business; they can just not watch.❤this family before even the adventures or the sailing!

  • Great video with some classic Keith and Renee wisdom on parenting. Guilt and shame are two of the most powerful tools in the human emotion toolbox. They are also the most wrongfully used tools 🧰.
