This is so sad. They completely ignored the woman's ex who was very unhinged. Witness when said they saw his vehicle down the street before the shooting. But set their eyes on the 11 year old boy??? Disgusting. Even the victims parents continue to put blame on the boy and they even knew about their daughters abusing ex. I hope this kid can get through this and is able to live a normal adult life.
It truly makes me wonder what kind of connections the unhinged ex had to the justice system. What a joke. A terrible fucking joke. They’d rather jump to conclusions and quite literally rip away a child’s life, without really looking into other avenues (MUCH MORE FEASIBLE AVENUES, AT THAT!!!) Why was the 11 year old the automatic scapegoat?! WHAT and WHO the hell protected the unhinged ex… and WHY!? It’s insane to me for so many reasons - but the biggest one is the fact that the ones closest to the victim is normally automatically looked at, even if they hadn’t spoken in years. He was an ex of her, and they had an insane past. WHY was he not looked farther into? WHO paid WHO to ensure the protection of an abusive adult to the point that they’d just point fingers at the little boy so quickly!?! It was all very cut and dry. There was basically zero investigation. And THAT is nuts. Yes - the kid was close to her, obviously. But why was he the scapegoat?! It just smells very fishy, to me. The math just ain’t mathin’ here, y’all. And it’s DISGUSTING…. 😓😔 my faith in the justice system has been running low for a very long time. But this right here completely diminishes it. So damn sad……

My husband has told our kids ever since they were little that if they were ever to be questioned by police, they are to stay quiet, dont talk, ask for parents and an attorney and they are to keep repeating themselves. My nephew was falsely accused by police for the murder of his friend, but his friend gave the name of his step brother as to who did it. Then he died. The cops ignored his "deathbed confession" as to who did it and were persistent on pinning it on my nephew. I guess one if the cops grew a conscience and admitted to the confession but if he hadnt, my nephew could've gone away for something he didn't do. Thats why i don't believe in the death penalty anymore. Too many falsely accused people in prison. What if that happened to you??

the kid was at school when the younger kid was awakened by a loud sound (the gunshot) and found her mom dead. This was a clear case of injustice done to the 11 year old and it is heartbreaking.
That's one of the things my parents told us kids, do not EVER speak to cops or anyone in authority. We were told to tell them, *I can't speak to you, im a minor* It's sad that was for our own protection as kids we had to learn.

Oh and now we've got people who want kids 12 and up to be tried as adults for all felonies not just the violent or sex offenses. A guy in Mississippi got out of prison, he was given a life sentence at 13 for a murder he did not commit. People were screaming they didn't want him to get any money awarded to him and I'm sure people don't want this poor guy to get any money either.
He got away with murder. He isn't innocent. No one else killed her. His sister saw him do it plus he had gun residue on him.

@@thedarksideoftheforce6658 he IS innocent if you watched the full documentary, you would do that the gun residue is from a jacket he was wearing at a turkey shooting thing he was at a few days before the murder. And the sister didn't sed him do she just heard what she thought was a gunshot, but the people abandoned that piece of evidence throughout the whole entire case so who knows if it was valid or not.
What evidence did the police have to accuse the eleven-year-old when the 11 year olds was in school ?
I didn’t hear mention of whether the 11 YO son had gun residue on his hands. Wouldn’t he have to have been tested for that? They tested his father’s hands and quickly eliminated him as a suspect!

I grew up 5 miles from their house, this entire incident shook our little town, they talked about it for years, people said such awful things about him, he was 11 years old. I personally think he didn't do it as I sincerely doubt an 11 year old could commit this crime and cover it up in under 2 minutes, get on the bus and head to school like nothing happened. Not only that but at least 2 of the cops that handled it don't exactly have stellar reputations, they just wanted this case shut as quick as possible. How can you ignore the ex boyfriend that literally threatened her life in the weeks before coupled with the fact that Jordan said he saw a black truck that morning, the same type of truck her ex drove yet they cleared him almost immediately because he had a little snow on his hood? Hey cops, take notes, this is why we don't trust you guys. Your "job" doesn't make you unconditionally correct and yes you guys can and do make plenty of mistakes. The cops that arrested him should be ashamed of themselves. Standing up there trying to justify arresting an 11 year old child, morons.

It's amazing that the justice system could destroy the life of an 11- year old child, convicting him of killing his stepmother, who he knew as a real Mom, without any real evidence.
